42, Ottawa, CAI'm passionate about helping people, and spending quality time with friends and family, and doing all - for the greater glory of God! Being a traditional Catholic, I embrace all the teachings (7 out of 7) of the Church, and would like to meet a women who does the same.
28, Ottawa, CAHi I am a young man who has interests in philosophy, psychology and social work. I hope to be attending a masters program at a local catholic university this fall. I like to keep active, enjoy exploring (city and rural areas), and relaxing on a patio with friends. I take my faith quite seriously, and would like to meet someone similar minded :)
34, Ottawa, CAHello. I'm a Catholic Convert of just over three years. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and all the other Traditions of the Church. I sing in the parish schola and really like Gregorian Chant. I am an active member of the Legion Of Mary as well as an Associate Member of the Transalpine Redemptorists. I had considered a vocation to the religious life but seems Our Lord has other plans for me. I do like some sports and spending time as right recreation in proper amounts. I want to become a Saint and do God's will no matter where I am called. I have taken up Catholic faith to give it my all. O honestly try and do everything for love God and for my salvation. It might sound too serious but since God is the source of all joy and happiness its really the only way to lead a truly joyous and happy life.
25, Ottawa, CAHello! My name is Selina and I am a grade 5/6 teacher at a beautiful little private Catholic school in Ottawa. I attend the FSSP parish (if you live in Ottawa I more than welcome you to come visit this rich and beautiful Mass! Just look up St. Clement Ottawa) and I consider myself to be a bit of a traditionalist, although I'm accustomed as well to some contemporary worship and regular Novus Ordo Masses. I play piano and enjoy writing, but my hobbies are most often put on the back burner because teaching is a 24/7 job, and apostolates and spending time with friends and family are the next top priority. I love musical theatre, good literature, dancing, hiking, singing, and spending time with friends and family. I love to learn and discuss things, especially theological things. If my schedule was more generous, I would join a choir, a theatre show, and do pro-life activism. As a teacher and the president of the Legion of Mary at my parish however, these things are but distant dreams. My biggest dream though is to be a wife and mother, and of course to be a saint. I enjoy both home activities and outdoor activities. I am sociable (an extrovert, though often a quiet one) and I can be adventurous and I'm almost always up for trying new things! This website has provided me with good friendships in the past already and I have faith from experience in its ability to connect people together. Feel free to shoot me a message any time and please fill out my interview questions! :)
23, Ottawa, CAI am currently a university student and I hope to be a Kindergarten teacher one day.. I collect antique books (I love to read) and I work at an after school program and at a religious bookstore. I like kids and learning languages -- I currently speak English, French, and am learning Korean. I am looking for someone serious about their Faith and who strives to be holy every day.
26, Lanark, CAI'm looking to see what's on this site for now, nothing more. I'll update my profile if this changes, but for now this is what it is. Thank you for understanding.
22, Ottawa, CAHello! My name's Michael. I'm an undergraduate student at McGill University graduating this December. I'm living and working in Ottawa during the summer and I intend to move back to Ottawa permanently after I graduate. I'm very passionate about the Catholic faith, and strongly believe in living a Christ-centred life. I was fortunate enough to live for several years at the Newman Centre, the Catholic chaplaincy at McGill University. giving me the opportunity to live and grow in faith with fellow young Catholics. I was deeply involved with the Catholic community at McGill; for example, I used to serve as president of McGill's Catholic students' association, the Newman Catholic Students' Society. I find the Church's intellectual tradition very appealing. I enjoy learning about theology and moral philosophy, and I'm currently reading a book on the thought of Aquinas, my favourite saint. I am fascinated by technology. I started programming at a young age and my interest only grew over time. My degree is in computer engineering and I will be working as a software developer after I graduate. I often work on personal programming projects in my spare time. I have a strong interest in politics and world affairs. I used to participate in debate, public speaking, and model UN in high school, and I still enjoy debating with others about, well, pretty much anything. :) I enjoy watching movies and television, especially science fiction (e.g. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Firefly), witty comedies (e.g. Frasier), and action-adventure (e.g. the Indiana Jones series).
30, Ottawa, CAI may add more to here if my sisters think of anything else to say when I tell them I have made an account; but for now, this will have to do :) I come from a large family, being the oldest girl although second oldest overall. I don't know where I'd be without my family and their prayers! One of my sisters is married and my niece/goddaughter is so cute! We have been attending Mass at a SSPX chapel for almost 15 years now; and whenever I travel, I always look up the nearest SSPX location. Road trips are definitely something I enjoy - whether it's visiting family and friends in the USA or checking out local destinations. I enjoy traveling and have made it to England, France, and Turkey. Australia, a return trip to see more of England, and a visit to Lourdes are on my bucket list. Hmmmn...not sure what else is supposed to go in this section so I'll just close with saying I love learning about and/or experiencing new things, God's creation is awesome - beauty can be found in it no matter where you are, and a good book is priceless. Oh, one final thing: building good friendships is important and what I'm hoping can be found on here, but if God plans for something more to come out of a friendship, I'd be fine with that :)
45, Ottawa, CAI would consider myself a thinker and an introvert, who prefers being away from large crowds. But being an introvert does not mean I am timid in any sense. My best self is shown to small groups and individuals. I have a sharp mind and a soft heart for a true gentleman whom I can trust. I believe in the love that God has for all his children, and I deeply respect a man who practices our faith, and chooses to follow Christ our Lord. There is no questioning my faithfulness or integrity, for these are just two of many gifts from my dear parents. I enjoy an active lifestyle that is low-impact and on the quiet side. My preferences for leisure activities are brimming with creativity and the Arts. My interests at the moment are learning the Polish language, and taking graduate courses at a Catholic University online. I have no desire to stop learning and achieving my full potential. I excel at academics and organization, and I am fiercely proud of my achievements in schooling. I am passionate about ecology and honouring Mother Earth. The miracle of creation has me so content, because I adore being outdoors slowing the pace of life down a little....just watching the leaves ripple in the breeze. I adore the winter months and the snow. Currently in my field, I am (re)introducing elementary school children to the wonder of our faith through ecological awareness and best practices for the love of our planet. The recent encyclical Laudato Si has grown joy in my heart and a love for God's creation. I am determined to make a difference in life, to use the gifts that God has given me, in the way God wants me to.
