48, Richmond Hill, CAI'm wanting to find that person who fits into who I am, and vice-versa, where its simply a blessing to be able to spend the days together. Where the hours seem like minutes and before you realize it you have been chatting all night. To share a friendship first and foremost with someone, and if it's right, nothing less than an amazing and full life together. I want to be able to connect on an intellectual basis and have a communicative relationship which is stimulating.Age is a number, not who you are - mid 30's to mid 40's is preferred. Wisdom, knowledge of who oneself is, maturity, a quick witted sense of humour and intellect coupled with knowing where you are going in life are must have qualities and attributes. I am looking for someone who has the desire to first explore each other and confirm compatibility, but when that is established and the direction of life is mutual and beautiful, I want commitment for the rest of my days. Life is not easy, but never forget life is a incredible blessing - anything worth having is always worth fighting for.
37, Toronto, CAI am born and grownup in Kochi a city in southern Indian state Kerala . I was in Israel last 8 years working as a elderly caregiver and now am in Canada working as a living caregiver for elderly people i am very careing loving i love my family very much .my faith and my famly is very important for me. I am active with a catholic movement Jesus youth and after marriage also I would to continue with this activity
57, Ottawa, CAI suppose my friends would say I'm fun loving, active, adventurous, independent and religious. I thoroughly enjoy a sense of the ridiculous and try not to take myself too seriously. I love golf and art but not at the same time. I like to be out exploring the world during down time, which probably makes me a relatively quiet extrovert. Growing up I wanted to become a perfect mix of Mary Tyler Moore and the Bionic Woman. I'm passionate about expressing my love for God and bringing others to Him.
38, Ottawa, CAI'm very easy-going, patient and understanding. These qualities have been a blessing since I'm a high school teacher! I've pretty much always known that teaching was my calling, and it's certainly more of a vocation than a job for me. It gives me the opportunity to influence my students' lives in a positive way, and allows me to help them see the best in themselves, especially in a world that leaves so many of them with negative views of themselves. I love speaking at conferences and retreats, and have most recently been involved in leading and speaking at retreats on the new evangelization in several area dioceses. I'm feel most "in my element" speaking in front of groups, and I'm thankful for the ways God has called me to lead others to him in this capacity. There is no greater feeling for me than completely surrendering to God, then feeling the Spirit work through me into the lives of the conference participants. As Mother Theresa said, "We are all pencils in the hand of God!" Despite being a speaker for conferences, I can actually be a bit shy when first meeting someone. Once you get to know me though, you see the joking, fun-loving side of me that's beneath the initial shyness. I love joking around with friends and I always see humour in every situation. I have a talent for diffusing tense situations using humour (which also comes in handy as a high school teacher!) Im also really into sports, but am by no means a competitive person. In fact, I can never remember what the score was at the end of a game! Trying to talk about myself in a paragraph isnt exactly the easiest thing to do, so if theres anything youd like to know, please ask! I'm still in the long process of filling out my profile, so hopefully it will be finished soon!
41, London, CAI consider good health to be the most important asset in life, not just in body, but in mind and spirit. Most of my passions, hobbies, and leisure time revolve around health. I love working out and dancing, especially to Zumba :) Over the weekends, you'll most likely find me in natural food stores checking out organic produce, and the latest in supplements and cosmetics. However, I consider a strong relationship with God and His church to be the most important aspect of good health. Everything in this life flows from the spiritual world; the physical is but a small manifestation of the Spirit world. Therefore, in order to have good health in every other aspect of life, one must have a strong and healthy relationship with God and His church first! I credit my devout Catholic parents, and Catholic school upbringing, for making me the person that I am today.
55, Hanover, CA"I'm a wonderful thing baby ....", even if 'Kid Creole' said it first. Ha Ha !! But really I'm a thoughtful, loving & compassionate man who values his relationships more than his "stuff". An emotionally well balanced, hard working & devoted provider who's an irrepressible romantic. Active in my community & local church. I enjoy good humor, good fun & good taste. I've never been on a dating site and find this rather interesting. Meeting a Christian woman is important to me. I wish to pursue an honest and exclusive relationship with a like minded woman. Without a doubt the Christian community has been influential on my life & business. I have found it a privilege serving others & seeing them become all they can be for Jesus - living lives of greater fulfillment & joy! Hallelujah! My interests and activities are wide. I love my four children, meeting people, & learning new things. Home design, landscaping & gardening, cooking/baking, art, photography, cars, outdoors, hiking, biking, skiing & swimming, theatre, arts & culture, history, community service, & parties with family & friends are all but SOME of the activities I enjoy on a regular basis. I would love to meet a joy-filled woman who shares a similar outlook on the world for an exclusive life long mutual relationship as best friend and only lover.
33, Kitchener, CAThe whole online dating thing is fairly new for me (had been on a site before but wasn't very active) so here's a few things about me so you get an idea. I'll keep adding to it, as things come to mind... But for now.. here's who I am. :)...I believe in making things clear right from the start so life and love can be more enjoyable. I am not perfect but strive to make my self better each day. My past is no where near perfect either but has been great.. and has been important in shaping me into the person I am today. I don't hold on to regrets or grudges. I am spontaneous and adventurous, learning about new cultures is something I love to do - and the best way (in my opinion) to learn about new cultures is by trying foods. I love motorcycles and cars and building and fixing stuff, owning every tool - a dream come true! I'm a loving and caring person and strongly believe in the idea "it all starts with the man in the mirror". I am in the health care field because I have a heart to serve people and I don't think there can ever be enough of caring and serving people around. My friends and colleagues would describe me as compassionate and ever encouraging and motivating individual who always shares a positive outlook on every aspect of life, and chivalrous and respectful of people around me. My interests are definitely not limited to movies, trying new foods - huge foodie!!, sporting activities - particularly tennis and swimming, reading, watching musicals (the last best musical I had a chance to see - Wicked! - and definitely recommend it if you have a flare for the arts), meeting new people. Basically If there is anything or any activity that yields a good time then it is my interest. Even if its just spending quality time indoors with my partner talking about random stuff or watching a flick (fantasy, romance, drama, action or even a chick flick...time spent together is what matters) I enjoy my time out with friends and family, but while doing so I uphold my Christian values. I have over the recent years become a social butterfly and love meeting new people and have also learned to live my life not in accordance to society but with that of my conscience. A healthier way of living in my opinion :) I love kids and I could spend hours with them. I am a proud and absolutely blessed uncle to a nephew and niece...When talking about love... Chocolate is definitely on the list ;) Love Music period! Gospel/Country/ House would be among the favorites.
34, Toronto, CAIf theres is one thing ive learned being a Christian, that is never to judge peoples wrongdoings. Every situation has a reason behind, it is not always easy to do the right thing.Be Humble.
36, Thunder Bay, CAI'm passionate about both God and learning. I sometimes wonder if I can be a bit boring (isn't that a great selling point for me), since I can talk for hours about God and scripture and my life mostly revolves around work and increasing my education (I'll be a forever life long learner - it's the teacher in me). Maybe the right person won't find those qualities boring though. I do love the outdoors though and am thankful that I have the summers off to spend walking/hiking almost everyday. During the winter I prefer the indoors a little more since I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold (there I go selling myself again), but this past winter I did pick up curling and enjoyed finding an indoor winter activity. I am a convert to the Catholic faith and love sharing my story of how I found the fullness of the Catholic faith, but I do still hold my upbringing in the Pentecostal Church dear to my heart. Prayer is very important to me, so it's important that my future family is one that will pray together daily.
50, Ottawa, CAI like time with family and friends, sporting events, movies, cafes, patios, farmers markets, garage sales, road trips, travel and mission trips with my kids, sightseeing, hiking, snow-skiing, worship music, going out and staying home. I don't like standing in lines, mosquitoes and crafts - but none of these are deal-breakers for me. I am not training for the iron-man but do like to stay active. I like skiing and biking. I also do a lot of walking - about 40 km (25 miles) a week.
63, Ottawa, CAEver since I retired three years ago, I made a decision to dedicate my retirement to my relationships, my health and my fitness - in that order beginning with my relationship with God. My marriage was annulled nearly twenty years ago now and I have since learned how to be a happy independent woman, however I do believe there is even more happiness in store for me so today I am taking a step in faith to reach out to find that special someone to share the rest of my life with. I love my life, my faith and my family. I have two adult children, a delightful daughter-in law and six grandchildren, all of whom actually enjoy spending time with me so I like to take advantage of that. What am I passionate about? I would say dancing, singing, swimming, snorkeling, travel, camping, spending time with family and friends, cooking a nice meal and sharing it, outdoor activities, the tranquility that comes with being in and around the water, discovering beauty in people and in places, deep, meaningful conversations and the feeling of a warm wind against my face. Out of all these joys and pleasures in my life, still nothing can compare to the joy of seeing someone step into the reality of how he (or she) is loved by God.
32, Mississauga, CAI am a fun loving person who enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. I come across as being reserved until I get comfortable with a person. Once you get past my reservations I am the kind of person that will be loyal to the end. I don't try to impress anyone, and hate when people try to impress me. I like being straightforward and look for the same in a partner. No games is my policy. I'm the type of person people can trust and be very close to once I'm comfortable with you. My main form of relaxation is doing any kind of DIY project. Arts and crafts are a passion and help me escape from everyday stress and take me to my happy place. Other than that I love going out dancing; I am fairly good at Latin/ ballroom dancing. You will never find me off the dance floor if the music is good. I also love reading any kind of book although don't get enough time to read. When it comes to movies the only ones I don't really like are documentaries and spiritual horror movies. Love most music except for EDM/Heavy metal/trance and my favourite food is Thai food. Music is an extremely important part of my life. Even in prayer music has been the cornerstone of my journey in faith and continues to be the form of prayer that makes me feel the closest to Christ. I spend a lot of time in Youth Ministry as a youth leader in the Charismatic Renewal. I work with a team of adults like myself to organise retreats and prayer sessions for the youth and young adults. I am really just looking for someone to share my life with and hopefully start a family with.
