65, East York, CAI am a convert from the decaying Anglican communion and am striving to learn more about, and to live, our faith. I love reading conservative magazines such as "First Things," and "National Review." I play classical piano a little and enjoy long walks, country drives, ballroom dancing, and gardening. Really love gardening. I do Ph.D.level research in psychometrics: the study of human intelligence, and have published two papers. I want to find ways to make everyone smarter. I would have a Ph.D. by now but have encountered oppostion because my work is politically incorrect. Ph.D. schmee H.D., I'm not really concerned, as long as my stuff is getting published in good refereed journals. My bread and butter is earned as a landlord and by managing a small business. I am financially secure. Am very conservative generally and drive a Grand Marquis, the kind of car your uncle drives! Truth in advertising: The photos were taken 5 years ago when I was 15 lbs lighter.
45, Toronto, CAYou have an evangelistic spirit and love the zoo. You dress with style and for fun, but with charity for your brothers in Christ. You also expect my shoes to be polished, teeth brushed. Catholic community life, a vast array of families and friends spread throughout the cities and rural areas of Eastern North America, and working for the rights of our unborn brothers and sisters are major prioities in the leisure times. If you can keep up in the gym, in the barn, on a mountain bike or campaign trail, then maybe we can make things happen.
38, Scarborough, CALife is what you make it. We all have different challenges, through trust in GOD you can overcome any obstacles bravely. I am a simple person who trusts God,
52, Belleville, CASo here we go - I just renewed my subscription here for a bit longer. It would seem that I am not that skilled at meeting people and selling myself, so to speak, to an online audience. I am a single man trying to authentically live out my Catholic faith. Since my conversion, my dating life has rather dull. I was dating a non catholic lady last year but that did not work out. I am a very private man and it takes me a while to build trust in another person. To be honest I am content to be single but a part of me feels that there is just something or someone more for me. I enjoy the outdoors, especially anything on or around the water. I work in my family business and am quite tied down so I don't get to travel as much as I would like. I enjoy cooking, music, travel, sailing, snowshoeing, walking.....
26, Hamilton, CAI like to play guitar. My guitar hero is Matt Bellamy from The Matt Bellamy Experience, also known as Muse. One of my favourite things to do is meet up with a friend at the pub so we can whine about how misunderstood we are. I look forward to the outdoor rinks freezing over in winter, so I can get my pond hockey on. Other than that, I have a dry sense of humour and I quote The Simpsons a lot. Oh yeah and my favourite book is magazine.
30, Toronto, CA"Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself..." I hope and plan to teach at a small Christian college somewhere in the States. I'm currently finishing up my doctorate in the Great White North, which I very much enjoy (even though I don't really consider myself the academic type). I study Church history and Latin and much of my schooling is spent looking at old medieval books. I became a Catholic six years ago, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I'm not too particular about where exactly I live, although I am a country boy at heart. While I enjoy my studies, it is not the most important thing in my life. I consider having a family more important than a career, and I'm willing to live and work wherever God wills. I'm also very passionate about the Church. A blessing of the student lifestyle is that I'm able to attend daily Mass and weekly Adoration. Another blessing is that most of my studies can now be done from my laptop, which gives me plenty of opportunities to travel and visit for long periods of time for anything long-distance. It can be hard to meet Catholics locally, and I think it's important now especially for men to travel the distance, however far (which seems to me like a good excuse to travel!). And so, I'm not hesitant to fly off somewhere in order to spend time with someone in person! In general, despite the academic side, I'm a rather down to earth, masculine, traditional man. I grew up on a beautiful farm with a large family and a simple life. I'm no stranger to mud and trees! Sometimes I'm serious, sometimes not at all. I'm pretty easy to talk to, and I spend lots of time and laughter with friends and family. And I hope to share my life with someone who can be a good friend.
66, Toronto, CAI am an avid reader and I learn a lot by reading. I am a good cook and love to do it. Exercise is important to me I go to the gym four times a week. My church life is very important to me _ I go to mass every day and am involved in my parish activities always. I am a lector on week days and when I am scheduled on week ends. I teach the Cathechism classes for First Communion and Saturday mornings. I am the Chair person of the Food Bank - but I have cut back on this a bit because of health reasons. I really loved doing this. I walk a lot and live an active life style. I play bingo on Wednesday mornings at church with the seniors and sometimes we go on trips. I love going on Pilgrimages with the Italian group. I have traveled a lot over the years but since I am a widow I do not enjoy going alone so have cut back. I am of mixed descent - part Portuguese and East Indian. I was born in Trinidad. and migrated here in 2007 after my husband went to be with the Lord. We ran an insurance brokerage for over 38 years and I really enjoyed my job and it allowed me freedom to do all my church activities because of the flexible schedule I had. There is so much more to me - I guess on meeting a suitable person - they can get to know me better as meeting is so much more revealing than just reading.Eyes are the window to the soul and I believe that a person's eyes reveal so much as to character. I have two grown kids who are happily married with their own families and live on their own. I look forward to finding someone with whom I can grow old and do a bit of traveling. Two of the most influential persons in my life have been St John Paul, Blessed Mother Teresa - these were during my own life time. There were so many others of whom I have read who have been a great source of spiritual strength to me, So much more that cannot be written here Have to leave some mystery to be unfolded.

47, Windsor, CAI am very passionate about the Catholic faith. I am a practicing Catholic . I love attending mass. In my parish, I am a lector and a commentator as well as a Eucharistic minister. I am very passionate about all animals! In fact, I love all animals, even snakes, spiders, etc. Currently, I have 3 cats, whom I love dearly. As an animal rights activist, the health, well being and respect for all animals is extremely important to me. Therefore I am a big supporter of various animal organisations, including PETA and Mercy For Animals. Being a strong voice for the voiceless is very dear to me. Speaking of the voiceless and innocent, I am totally against abortion. Plain and simple: Abortion is murder! Although I am French Canadian, I am fluent in both French and English. I enjoy listening to various types of music, but country music will always be my favourite. I describe myself as loving, compassionate, honest, sensitive, easy to talk to, a great listener, sociable, caring, generous, sweet.
30, Hearst, CAI am passionate about agriculture and I also love animals but not in the house. My dream is to own a farm one day and a beautiful garden and some fruit trees and maybe some animals. My most marking experience for me was when I came back in the Church. It was like discovering a whole new world. My eyes were opened to the spiritual beauty and truth of The Holy Church. My whole perspective on life changed and everything made sense all of a sudden. I will not elaborate on my reversion story here (for it is too long). On my leisure time I like to take walks and bike rides, and I also like all kinds of sports. I also like to read. I like swimming, I like fishing. I like parks and I like to travel when I have a chance.
