44, Toronto, CAA bachelor living in Toronto's High Park neighbourhood, I spent several years as an officer in the Canadian Army Reserve before going back to school to complete an MA in Disaster in Emergency Management. The youngest of three children and the son of Hungarian refugees from the '56 uprising, I grew up in Toronto all of my life, receiving my B.A. and M.A. from York U and UofT. Having gotten into my faith seriously in my college years, I have been blessed with exposure to Catholics young and old involved with all sorts of organizations and causes, and currently live close to two of Toronto's best parishes (IMHO) run by the Oratorian Fathers. I usually attend the Tridentine Rite which is celebrated a few minutes walk from my apartment. Further to my work and involvement in the Church, I spend much of my time engaged in reading, outdoor activities, and at times get fairly occupied with conservative politics and life/family issues. I try to cultivate my mind through regular exposure to literature, philosophy, theology and societal issues, with a wordview shaped by the "Liberal Arts" tradition. I also would like to think that I am endowed with certain notions of chivalry, even if that's a work in process. Though I would really like to improve on my knowledge and proficiency when it comes to languages, art and music, I am most thankful for the abundance of opportunities to grow in those areas. While I am seeking romantic relationship, I have also appreciated the opportunity to network, meet others and make friends through this site.
32, Toronto, CAHi! Thanks for stopping by :) I've totally neglected my profile... so I'm trying a revamp - will add new photos towards the end of Dec (am currently on vacation out of the country so can't do it now) - I don't always wear a pink hat, but when I do ... [http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/the-most-interesting-man-in-the-world] I strive to be a person of good character and inspire others; I don't always succeed. I read a lot of books, but don't watch much TV - though I do indulge myself in watching a korean drama every now and then. I do like TED tv. I'll watch and read almost anything derivative related - options, swaps, futures. Maybe you've heard of tastytrade. I like the little things... I volunteer Mondays w the missionaries of charity and Saturdays I teach kids - they drive me nuts sometimes and I'm so happy I'm not a school teacher. I work in finance mostly pricing swap instruments and building yield curves; by education I am an engineer. I have a small fund and a small company so I can make some pocket money. BTW I've started going to some holy spirit seminars and have found it very refreshing. I highly recommend it if you have it at your church.
32, Mississauga, CAMy interests and passions vary as I spend much of my time crafting, baking, planning my next travel excursion, and spending time with my family. My mom supports me in a lot of my choices and has been the person that I go to when I need advice. I'd say that my mom is my best friend.
60, Aylmer, CAIm a small business owner. I love my job because of the people that come into my store. I just love people all round. Im a family man with 3 daughters and 2 Grandchildren they are my life. In my spare time I like to just have fun. I live close to the beach love going for walks there.
26, Ottawa, CAHello! My name is Selina and I am a grade 5/6 teacher at an authentically Catholic private school in Ottawa, Canada. I attend the FSSP parish in Ottawa and I consider myself to be a bit of a traditionalist, although I'm accustomed as well to some contemporary worship and regular Novus Ordo Masses too. I play piano and enjoy writing, dancing, and singing (all just for fun, nothing too fancy), but my hobbies are often put on the back burner because teaching is a busy job outside of work hours and apostolates (the Legion of Mary, of which I am current praesidium president at my parish) and spending time with friends and family are my next top priorities. I love musical theatre and plays, good literature and stories, hiking, camping, roadtrips, and spending time with friends and family. I love to learn and discuss things, especially theological things. If my schedule was more generous, I would join a choir, a theatre show, and do pro-life activism. My biggest dream though is to be a wife and mother, and to be a saint. I love meeting new people so feel free to shoot me a message any time and please fill out my interview questions! :)
57, Toronto, CAMy passion is in my work-education. I have seen my students believe in themselves and turn around behaviour that was unproductive. The most influential people were my hardworking parents, who set good examples. I enjoy any time outside, walking, jogging, not traveling much now till summer. I want to see more of Canada.
22, Ottawa, CAHello! My name's Michael. I'm an undergraduate student at McGill University graduating this December. I'm living and working in Ottawa during the summer and I intend to move back to Ottawa permanently after I graduate. I'm very passionate about the Catholic faith, and strongly believe in living a Christ-centred life. I was fortunate enough to live for several years at the Newman Centre, the Catholic chaplaincy at McGill University. giving me the opportunity to live and grow in faith with fellow young Catholics. I was deeply involved with the Catholic community at McGill; for example, I used to serve as president of McGill's Catholic students' association, the Newman Catholic Students' Society. I find the Church's intellectual tradition very appealing. I enjoy learning about theology and moral philosophy, and I'm currently reading a book on the thought of Aquinas, my favourite saint. I am fascinated by technology. I started programming at a young age and my interest only grew over time. My degree is in computer engineering and I will be working as a software developer after I graduate. I often work on personal programming projects in my spare time. I have a strong interest in politics and world affairs. I used to participate in debate, public speaking, and model UN in high school, and I still enjoy debating with others about, well, pretty much anything. :) I enjoy watching movies and television, especially science fiction (e.g. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Firefly), witty comedies (e.g. Frasier), and action-adventure (e.g. the Indiana Jones series).
23, Waterloo, CAI'm a Catholic engineering student looking aspiring to make a significant difference in the world through the gifts and talents God has granted to me.
52, Toronto, CALatin man catholic graduated in business with a lot of experience in Technology Looking for a Catholic woman with good background and nice feelings No drinking and no smoking no drugs of any kind and no tatoos!
29, Barrie, CAWho wants to help each other get to heaven?! I'm brand new to this type of thing and will add more soon :) but a little bit about me... I'm an RN who works in geriatrics. I'm very passionate about my career and helping others. I'm a single mom with one daughter who lives with me full time who's the light of my life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, amusement parks, walks, backyard BBQs, nd most recently learning to play the ukulele!
23, Barrie, CAI'm pretty sure you're supposed to start these with a complaint about how hard these are. I'm honestly not sure what I can say here that isn't more descriptive then a picture me in a suit of crusader armour. I guess I could say that I'm a political science student, I have an array of increasingly strange hobbies (Lasers are fun!) and I am a massive nerd. I can't really state that enough. I'll update this as I think of more to add (I probably won't think of anything else to add)
30, Hearst, CAI am passionate about agriculture and I also love animals but not in the house. My dream is to own a farm one day and a beautiful garden and some fruit trees and maybe some animals. My most marking experience for me was when I came back in the Church. It was like discovering a whole new world. My eyes were opened to the spiritual beauty and truth of The Holy Church. My whole perspective on life changed and everything made sense all of a sudden. I will not elaborate on my reversion story here (for it is too long). On my leisure time I like to take walks and bike rides, and I also like all kinds of sports. I also like to read. I like swimming, I like fishing. I like parks and I like to travel when I have a chance.
