I am one man woman, I have never had a man in my life when I was a teenager up to the time I got married to my husband who was my first love. We met in high school and I would call it my high school sweetheart. It was a personal choice. I was born a Roman Catholic to parents of Catholic and was married in my country, the Philippines, in a Catholic Church. I studied and graduated in the universities in my country with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration, major in Management and a Master of Arts in Education, major in Special Education, Down Syndome and Learning Disability. I started work at age 19 for Procter&Gamble Philippine Mfg Company as a Market Research Field Investigator for consumer products, then with the SCJohnson & Son as Consumer Relations Researcher. Finally worked for two different corporate foundations as Survey Research Field Coordinator and Adminstrative Manager respectively, before finally decided to migrate in the US by a petition of our only child, a married daughter and her husband. I had worked in Portland for few private companies, with the USPS as mail processing clerk , for INTEL in the manufacturing division, and for Walgreens as licensed pharmacy technician before I quit in 2007 due to the medical condition of my husband , cared for him 24/7 until he succumbed to lungs and brain cancers after almost 4 years journey to the disease. After his death, I did not pursue work,I did few volunteer work for the Washington County Sheriff's Office, mentor few hispanic kids with their school work and for the Cedar Mill Community Library. I regularly go to 24 hour fitness center, attend group classes and do about 30 minutes work out. My regular group classes are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for 2-3 hours each day, foremost for health reason, get to know new friends and lessen boredom. I read anything of human interests and what is happening around us local and global. I'd like to just want to do leisurely walks, along the seaside, park, watch sunrise, sunset if possible, see historical places, watch the big band play, stage shows musical and non. I read non -fiction and fiction and autobiographies of great people, scientists, inventors and the likes. I love to watch on tv, sports, the Olympics, real life stories and local and international news. I hear Sunday Mass regularly and on Holidays of Obligations. As a Catholic, I would hoped my soulmate will do the same being of the same faith.

Nerd of the diverse kind, in a quasi-obsessive sort of way. Right now, I'm up for talking with people; getting to know them, their stories. I'm usually up for a discussion, or debate over a good cup of coffee, or bottle of beer; a decent meal would be icing on top. I'm fairly loyal to people I've gotten to know really well, over time. My loyalty to them, in a way, will allow them to influence me; my thought processes; and decision making. I may be a little reserved, at first, but it doesn't take much to make an impression, on me. When I'm not too injured, I'll spend time at the Martial Arts gym/dojo - either in Sherwood, or St. John's. Most of the time, I'll be attending Church services, at parishes, in town, if I'm not found working, eating, or sleeping.

Hello there! I am looking to expand my social network beyond family, work and school. I am hoping this is a safe place to start. Lifelong learning, family and travels are a few of the things that I feel passionate about. I tend to be independent in a lot ways and open minded to things that expand my understanding of people. I am by nature comfortable being quiet and observant thus often mistaken as shy. With the right company and topics, I can easily entertain people close to me with my chatters and comments. On my free time, I love long drives, visiting family and friends, exploring new places for scenice views, history or dining experience.

A man on a mission. My purpose in life is to give my gifts of presence and consciousness in service to others. I'm a dependable individual known for my equanimity and unwavering joie de vivre. I strive to see God in all things. If we were adventure partners, I'd be the Simba to your Nala and the Sam Shakusky to your Suzy Bishop. If we were a poem and you the ocean, stormy or serene, I'd be your steady, solid mountain. If we were a sandwich, I'd be the bacon and avocado to your fresh lettuce and ripe tomato. And Christ would be the Bread of Life who keeps us together. Yes, I am a huge dork.

I'm a simple person who value honesty, integrity and kindness. I admire individuals who are sincere and true to themselves and to the people around them. I enjoy long walks, going to the beach, exploring different types of cuisines and just driving around enjoying the beauty of Portland. I like bowling, golf, table tennis, sudoku, etc. but I have not mastered in any of those games. Looking forward to meeting someone that I can feel a connection with. We meet a lot of nice, smart and beautiful people around but it's quite a challenge finding that special person who can inspire you and make your life more meaningful.

I'm a shy girl, and I consider my family to be the most important treasure that I possess. I don't speak English well but I love to have someone to share the other half of my life and understand me by heart. I know it's hard to find someone who can really go into your heart but I've kept looking for that person, and I hope that person will find me!
