56, Oregon City, ORI love our Lord and our Catholic faith. I'm pretty easy going yet passionate about a number of topics, especially protecting our freedom of religion as well as other freedoms. I love to give and receive love and am a strong advocate of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. I love kids, as you would observe when I'm around my nieces. It didn't work out for me when I was married to have my own. Under the right circumstances, kids would be great, but first and foremost is finding the right woman with whom I would like to share the rest of my life. If you have kids, that's great. For it to work, I realize I must gain your kids love and respect, which entails time and love on my part. It's not necessary, but I'd love it if you enjoyed an occasional fishing trip with me. An ideal romantic time for me would be sitting next to a campfire on a cool full-moon star-lit night with the girl of my dreams wrapped in my arms. We'd be talking about anything and everything and sometimes nothing while we stared at the stars. I definitely enjoy time at the resort as well. If it makes a difference, I enjoy fishing and hunting (most hunting is with a bow). Even though I'm cutting out the middle man, it makes zero economic sense, but I get much satisfaction from the hunt and cooking up a good meal direct from the land with which God graced us. I certainly don't expect you to enjoy hunting but if God chooses to bless me with a bride, I need her to accept this part of me. In July '09, I moved from Oregon to Alaska for a new job and adventure. It wasn't too difficult since I always wanted to see Alaska. I never thought I'd be moving there, but God gave me a great experience with meeting new friends and seeing some of the most amazing creation on Earth. However, in Aug, 2010, he decided to bring me back to the NW. My Alaska employer closed it's doors and I'm back in the NW with an even better job. Thank you God! May all of you looking for employment find relief soon.
61, Cottage Grove, ORI'm a life-long bachelor, who socializes with my long-term friends. I've recently retired from the U.S Forest Service on the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon after 34 years of service. I'm very phyiscally active lifting weights, riding motorcycles, bicycles, hiking trails, camping, fishing, concerts, reading books, working on my house, drinking beer and helping out my friends with their projects. I like to sight-see around the state and visit family mostly in the Portland area. I'm pretty easy going and I try to avoid drama of everyday life.
35, Hillsboro, ORI think you have the power to control how each day is going to be, wake up with that attitude and you can change the world (or at least the day). Enjoy the little things in life and live the others. If you take life to seriously it will pass you by. My family is very important and friends are like brothers and sisters. Outdoors entertains my vigor (hiking, biking frisbee), while indoors entertain imagination (movies, games, music). The cities have a lot to offer and I love to experience it, care to join me. I would love to find someone to adventure with me in nature, ponder with me in thoughts, divulge with me intellect, jump at scares, and be the friend I can share anything with (including random thoughts like if the moon is made of cheese why hasn't it been abducted by aliens). I'm laid back, yet work hard. I cook and brew. I appreciate both common sense and book smarts. If you've ever wanted a genuine honest man with looks and brains your dream may stop here. My inner thoughts: I'm only serious about half the time and the other half I'm just not sure. No matter how funny I am I'll never out laugh comedy. No matter how old I get I'll never abandon my inner child. Perhaps someday I'll be a ninja. Elvis is dead. There's so much to do in life and just enough time to do it in. Foreign travel is a must. Enjoying life is essential. Rain, snow and sun all have their time. Coldness is mean, but makes warmth oh so much better. If the world turns it's back on you just laugh a little. If I could have any superpower it would be time manipulation. The beach, hikes, and sports are all good things. However staying in with movies or games is just as good. Ignorance is not bliss it's rude. Fires are romantic.
61, Coos Bay, ORI am a contemplative and creative person who loves Jesus, loves the Church, loves the Mass. I am a secular Carmelite. I like to cook and share meals with family and friends. I spent most of my adult life as a full-time mom of four. My children are now grown, living in Sacramento and Sonoma, California. I finished my bachelor's degree at the ripe age of 57. It was tough to do as a single mom, but we made it! I am passionate about my kids, my faith, fitness and health, and have lots of creative interests like cooking and baking (always trying something new), crochet, decorating, DIY projects, folk and ballroom dancing, painting. Currently I live with my mom who is 92 and consider it a very great privilege to be able to spend time with her at such an important time of her life. I enjoy the outdoors. My father loved to fish, hunt, cut firewood and go camping, and that's how we spent most of our vacations growing up. One of my dreams is to have a teardrop trailer to take to campgrounds and parks I haven't visited and experience new places. All that being said, I would love to find a partner who could enjoy some of these interests with me. In my former marriage of over 20 years I made some big mistakes, things I have prayed over, reflected on and tried with God's help to improve upon. This union was declared null by the Church, and so I hope one day to be in a "real marriage," a truly loving partnership. I recognize my part in sowing the seeds of a loveless relationship earlier in my life, and for the past 16 years have worked hard at correcting these faults and forming healthy, warm relationships. We are so blessed to have a merciful God who never gives up on us! The secular culture in which we live views marriage as a contract, but the Church says it is a covenant with God and with each other. It's bout giving, becoming our best selves, and helping one another to heaven. I pray for you as you read this, that you will find exactly what our good God has in mind for your happiness. Bless you!
53, Portland, ORI consider myself a sociable person that has a good sense of humor. I have good manners and like others to do too. I'm a pretty sentimental person and family and friends are important to me. I'm a Italian/Irish Catholic who attends services regularly. I also believe in the power of prayer. I have 2 sons that are now in high school. While being catholic is important to me, I'm not overboard about it either. I strive to be a better version of myself daily and I always treat other people the way I would want to be treated.
41, Hillsboro, ORI was born and raised in Poland. I moved to United States when I was 18yrs old. I lived in S. Carolina and Georgia for 16 years. I moved to Oregon 6 years ago. Oregon is my home and it would be difficult to move, but ... My parents live in Poland and I visit them when I can. I try to be happy and have fun whatever I am doing. Life is too short and people take things too seriously. I like to laugh. I like to travel and discover new places. They don't have to be necessary any famous landmarks, sometimes getting lost in a city can be fun. I like going on day hikes. Hiking in the mountains makes me happy. It is amazing when you can stand on top of the mountain and see for miles and miles (on a good sunny day :-)). I have a son he is 13yrs old. I love to spend time with him. I am involved in Boy Scouts, my parish and my son's school. One of my pictures shows a lady on a skateboard. I want to live my life, have fun, be happy, and never grow up ...

40, Beaverton, ORHow's it going! I am looking for new friends and great conversations, so here I am creating a profile. My life consists of two crazy pups, volunteering at the humane society time permitting, finishing college, building my career, and strengthening my faith. I like to stay busy and involved, so I try to get out and experience different things. One thing I really miss is just hanging out with people on weekends and listening about someones day that doesn't involve talking about Star Wars or geek (life beyond a keyboard!) I am not expecting anything in return and I am not sure I will even be matched but I thought it was worth it to learn more about other people and discover new opportunities.
22, Hillsboro, ORHello! My name is Colin. I am 22 years old live alone and have two cats. I'm just joking! I don't have two cats but I do live alone in my own apartment and work full time as a pickup and delivery truck driver. I'm working towards a career in law enforcement. I want to be a police officer but to be more specific I want to be a homicide detective. I was blessed with a really hard working work ethic and I want to use that to reach people everyday on job. I have no shame in admitting how big of a history geek I am. History is easily the most fascinating subject to me. Growing up I would hang out with my Grandfather and all we would do was talk history and watch anything history. I am also a huge sports fan. I love football. I follow both college and the NFL. If it is Sunday you can pretty much bet football will be on my TV. I am normally a massive introvert but if football is on you'll probably have to shove a sock in my mouth....I am a passionate fan! also love baseball and soccer. Mainly because I played for many years. Basically if its a sport I will either love watching or be up to playing it! Even more than sports though, I love riding motorcycle. Ever since I started up my first bike I have been hooked. It is easily my most favorite activity. The wind slamming you, the wave to fellow motorcyclists, and the rumbling of the exhaust. I just cannot get enough. Everyone has that one thing that really clears their head and lets them "escape" so to speak for awhile, well riding motorcycle is mine. Basically to sum it up I am a classic rock loving, sports, playing, motorcycle riding, history nerd......and proud of it! However, more important than that is my faith. I was born and raised catholic in a split household. Growing up I went to mass every week and was active in parish activities and youth group. After I graduated high school I joined the Army and fell away from the church. I spent about 3 years away from the church. I eventually found my way back and am in my second year of being a committed follower of Christ. It has been a very long journey of self discovery and more importantly I have come to realize how much my faith means to me. Truth is, I'm not sure where I'd be without it. I'm hoping to meet someone who shares that love as I do.
