I want to tell this parable,---- There was a mountain range with a valley. Up in the hieghts there lives Jesus and His people in bliss with The Father and dont have an evil conscience. In the valley are two paths exactly the same, only three feet apart. The two groups are fighting about which path is the good one simply because they want THEIR own path to be the good one, because of pride. They have an evil conscience. Just like scripture says"" Through the law shall no one be justified, for through the law is the conscience of sin"" We want to be part of the people at bliss without an evil conscience. Do You? And I want to add I follow the way of ONLY doing unto others what I would have them do unto me.
  • Christopher, 32 from Portland, OR
    32, Portland, OR
I am a student at the University of Portland after serving in the US Army for five years. I have learned how to look at what happens in life and see the positive roles that come with each lesson. In my off time, I love exploring the area around me. Whether that's the city I'm in or the country outside, I am an explorer and I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I believe you can never stop learning from the world around you. I am an Eagle Scout, I believe in telling the truth and doing what is right, even though it's hard or not the most popular choice to make. I love whitewater rafting, skydiving, I enjoy roadtrips and getting away to just relax.

A little about me... I'm fast on my way to becoming a sedevacantist. After much deliberation, I reached this conclusion by reading the papal encyclicals of Popes Gregory XVI, Leo XII, Leo XIII, Benedict XIV, Pius VII, Blessed Pius IX, Pius XI, Pius XII, and most famously Saint Pius X. The Magisterium has many times condemned the utterly false ideas of ecumenism, "freedom of conscience", and religious liberty - which all triumphed at Vatican II. "Against the Sillon" by Pope Saint Pius X nails it succinctly. This is not news. Modernist theologians such as Josef Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) readily admit it. Just to be honest, this is where my theology. Also, I've read large amounts of material from all sides of the argument so, for example, I will no longer attend a Novus Ordo service because it was designed to be not Catholic. Anyway, I'll stop here as these are some main reasons and this is not supposed to be a dissertation!

I love to think and feel deeply. I am a natural Meyers-Briggs INFP personality type... a very Intuitive, iNtroverted, Feeling, Perceiving individual. I have volunteered nearly 600 hours over the course of 3 years on a suicide hotline, and worked at a drug and alcohol treatment facility, in the hope of making a difference in the lives of others. I dream of becoming a counselor someday (among other ideas), and I deeply love classical music... opera, symphonies, and things of great beauty and expression of the human spirit.

My faith is very important to me. I am looking forward to starting my own family someday, and am considering homeschooling any future children. I love to stay active. I currently live in Vale, where I am also working as a CNA. My family is also very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them (my nieces in the picture). I also grew up on a dairy farm and like the small town life.

Hi, so I like to hike and do outdoor things like that. I like a good adventure. Whether that's a trip to the store or the beach. I could spend every day at the beach btw. Also the mountains. I am a open book and don't need to hide anything, so ask away. I like to laugh and joke around. I'm very serious when it's time to be. I've actually been liking the trivia questions on here from you ladies, please keep it up. Lol! I enjoy children, especially energetic ones. More pets the better, cause pets are fun. My music taste is a little bit of everything, depends on my mood. I like to be friends first or just someone to hang with. If 2 people like each other, the relationship will naturally follow. I'm a bit of sci-fi geek. I like Star Trek, StarGate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica. I enjoy a conversation, like analyzing events. Not really into gossip. Debate is awesome! If done right though lol! I like to eat Vegan or plant based. I don't expect the same from you. It's tough sometimes, but know this type of diet is beneficial for me. I love a date with conversation and tea or coffee. Talk about anything and everything. I like tv, but normally it's cause of sports for me. I haven't watched a show consistently for a long time. So I'm not up to date on current popular shows. I like to read my Kindle. I have The Bible on it, which is cool! My body is short and full of love btw. Lol! I'm broader in the shoulders. It's strange, I have like 31 inch waist, where a medium top, and weigh like 190 pounds. I exercise with kettle balls and a yoga mat. If you know a good joke, please write it. I like a good chuckle. I am easy going and fun. We could be in a room all day and laugh cause I'm that redonkulous. It's cause I'm missing a chromosome or something like that, JK lol! I want to get know you for all that you are and you were, and you want to be. I'm a man that wants to be free and hopefully you do too. Free from our sin and judgement. I want my journey with whom I can call my wife, my baby, my rock and bestest friend. Thanks for reading this ridiculously long, put you to sleep, Lord of the Rings type intro. Hope all is good with you and be blessed be awesome!

Hello, CM land! To be honest, I've never been very good at these "describe yourself" things, but I will do my best. I'm the kind of person who will (usually) let someone else control the car radio even if I don't like the music being played, because I want them to have a good time. I give 110% at work every day, and then I relax by going home and geeking out over a nerdy show and/or writing. My original academic plan was to pursue a Bachelor's of English, but God keeps pulling me (kicking and screaming) towards the social sciences...specifically, Economics and Psychology. Either way, my ultimate dream is to write young adult fantasy novels which can follow in the footsteps of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis by using the fantasy world to introduce/reinforce Christian values in today's youth. I'm kind of attached to my single independence, but I should warn you that I'm very old-fashioned when it comes to courtship and marriage. I believe there is something beautiful in giving up a career in the world to be a stay-at-home Mom. It would be difficult, and I fully expect to go through a period of sadness if/when the day comes that I need to leave the workforce, but God willing I would do it. There's lot more I'd like to say here, but I've chosen to break it up amongst the rest of my answers. If you want to chat, please don't be shy. I look forward to getting to know you.

Hello! I'm Anita! Pretty much hesitant to post on Catholic Match, but felt the inspiration of what I hope is, the Holy Spirit, to do so! My Prayer: The Prayer Our LORD gave St. Faustina to have us pray: "Not as I want, but according to YOUR WILL, O GOD, let it be done unto me!" Since about the age 25 have wanted to be married, but never met the right man. Just kept waiting for God to send him, if it's God's will. So, this endeavor is new, but we shall see if God acts in any way! Authentic love, would be my favorite thing in this world. God bless all who visit this post!

Veritas! This motto of the Dominican Order succinctly expresses the ideal of my life: to live in conformity with God's Truth and to be His instrument in passing it on to others. I have broad interests in the humanities, particularly in Latin and literature, but also in theology, history, writing, logic, drama, music, etc. For me, Latin is the language of love because it is the language of divine worship in the Liturgy. What I most appreciate about literature and the arts is how they can powerfully communicate Truth, Goodness and Beauty through the imitation of life -- often in a more convincing way than a technical theological tract. I have particular interest in an integrated educational curriculum which unites history, literature, music, drama, language, science and culture in a thoroughly Catholic theological framework with an emphasis on practical application and hands-on, experiential learning. After five years in a Dominican monastery, I discerned that the cloistered life was not my calling and have providentially been led to teaching, where I believe God now wants me to serve Him and Holy Mother Church.
