62, Hatboro, PAHi, the main thing about me is im very easy going and i get along with just about anyone. I trust in god for everything, and my faith is growing every day. I try to make it to church every week . I enjoy doing just about anything from dinner, movies, the shore, the mountains, and ill try anything new.
63, West Chester, PAI look forward to retirement, to travel and enjoy side projects. I think living in a large catholic family has influenced me the most in my life which includes great parents. Would like to find someone compatible to continue the journey.
62, Horsham, PAEnjoying life, aspire to living a simple life. Suffice to say that I strive to live a spiritual life as result of the passion I have for the teachings of the spiritual masters of many various faith traditions, not the least of which is Christianity despite the way its been modeled in this world and in this country. My heroes of the church are the Berrigans, Franz Jaggerstatter, Liz McCallister, Dorothy Day, Thomas Merton, MLK Jr. John Dear, Oscar Romero in no particular order. The Syrophoenician woman. Gandhi of course also a hero even though not a Christian but he loved the founder of the firm as deeply as any of them. The Freedom Riders. Can't tell you how much I admire what they did. My compassion for the poor and suffering is core to my being and will never go away. Did much to serve in that regard, too much to get into here. Clearly I am not a good match if you are right wing or tea party type. LIfe is too short and precious for those sorts of discussions within relationship at this stage of life, looking for harmony on that level. Someone whose guiding star points in similar direction. Lived a block from WTC during 9/11. Transformational experience, participated in Interfaith peacewalk groups here and in Washington DC, and lots of other peaceful rallies especially during Bush era, also standing on the side of the immigrant. No longer engaged as deeply as I was but my soul always points towards peace and reconciliation, and on the side of those who are left behind. I stand on the side of Black Lives Matter, and on the side of those of Islamic faith who are currently being targeted by ignorant prejudice in our nation. If you aren't similarly postured, we would not be a good match. I lend them my voice and perhaps my feet will soon come into play again as well as result of this recent election and our national backsliding on issues of race, immigration and environment and the predominant white Christian ignorance that most often seems to know little about the One they are proclaiming.
64, Philadelphia, PAI just finished a book that was written by an European author. Although the characters were fictional, the theme of the book is that love is all that we have and all that really means anything. So, that touch or that smile that says "I am here for you.......and I will always be here for you" is the essence of love. Life takes so many twists and turns. When I was in my 20's, I figured I had plenty of time to marry and have children but when I was 30, I was diagnosed with cancer. That scared me and the guy I was with; he left and I started treatments. For awhile, treatments and surgeries and getting well were my primary focus. Getting a cancer diagnosis helped me to make major changes; eating well was one of them. I love shopping at Farmer's Markets throughout the spring and summer and into the fall. Nothing tastes as delicious as veggies that were just picked that morning and made for dinner that night! Not smoking, not drinking, and eating well seem to scare some men off; hope you're not one of them.
68, Philadelphia, PAMy favorite thing is the beach and the ocean i love Myrtle Beach it is my happy place. I like most of the home team sports Phillies Flyers Eagles. I hate cold weather so I tend to hibernate at home in the winter.
68, Dresher, PAMy passions are simple: family, friends, cooking/baking, travel, choir. I have three children and five grandchildren and they all bring me great joy. I really have been blessed with them, and I'm thankful every day for them in my life. I have also been blessed with true and wonderful friends, many from my grade school and high school days. Some of them are actually in my parish choir, so it's been great fun being with them. I always look forward to travel, even if it's only to Florida for a long weekend. I'm planning my 12th trip to Ireland in September; it's a place I enjoy so much -- it's as though I belong there. My parish has a wonderful choir, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. I've always been in a choir, but this group is truly professional. There are about 55 of us, and we really do a good job on Sundays, even if I do say so myself!!
74, West Chester, PAI love my family and friends, the outdoors, reading, going to Sunday Mass on Saturday @ 4:00pm, my newly renovated church and life in general. In my leisure time I like to read, spend time with family and friends, cook, be outside in the nice weather and meet new people. I am looking for a man with a sense of humor! And of course, honest and kind. When I do, I am hoping "to get him at Hello?"
61, Horsham, PAI am upbeat, sincere and centered. I think I am at a good stage of life right now...old enough to know what's really important in life as well as young enough to enjoy life. Yoga, running, gardening, cooking, baseball and dogs are some of my basic interests. Blessed!
93, Philadelphia, PAI enjoy line dancing, ballroom dancing and really any kind of dancing! I enjoy lively debates regardless of topic and I love to shop with my daughters
66, Feasterville-Trevose, PAThank you for checking out my profile. I am a widow of nine years seeking a like-minded Catholic widower with a good sense of humor. I loved my dear husband and enjoyed a beautiful long marriage, and now I am ready to embark on my next chapter. I have been a nurse for over 30 years, and still work, as I am very young at heart, body, and mind, and enjoy helping others. My family is very close and we love spending time together, especially my adorable six year-old granddaughter. I am very traditional, and am looking for a man who shares my traditional values. I am seeking a true gentleman who appreciates intellectual, good conversations. Watching movies, dining together, playing scrabble, and spending time with families are my ideal. Looking forward to hearing from you. Good luck on your search!
69, Haverford, PAHi! The above photo was taken last year along the picturesque coast of Calif. at Big Sur. I'm a conservative Catholic widow who enjoys beginning each day with a positive outlook. As I begin this new chapter, it would be nice sharing new experiences and adventures with an optimistic up-beat Catholic man who is also affectionate and fun loving. I owned a small custom art glass business for 25 years, which I sold and downsized to make "life simpler". I'm now retired but active. I had been happily married, but we weren't blessed with children. My life is full ... spending time with friends, traveling and new adventures, but I also enjoy quiet moments and the comforts of home. Having an interest in art, I recently joined a class to learn watercolor painting which is both fun and challenging.. So, if you enjoy nature, traveling, occasional adventures and quiet moments at home, it would be nice to meet you for a growing friendship.
72, West Chester, PAI'm most passionate about family, friends, and God. Want to meet someone who feels the same way and wants to find the joys of living each day as a gift. I am looking forward to sharing a new life with someone who wants to do the same.
