60, Fairless Hills, PAAllow me to introduce myself. I'm a single Dad who has been raising 3 kids for over 12 years now. Two are now in college and one is a senior in high school. I also have another daughter in her mid thirties and two grandchildren. As for me, well, I like me. I have many hobies and if I hit the lottery I would have no problem keeping myself busy. I had a lot of fun doing stuff with my kids and of course spend a little time with my oldest and her kids but those times are now few and far in between. Yep, it's time I start looking for someone to share what time I have left. Not that I plan on going anywhere anytime soon. Anyway, I can be a lot of fun to be with and I too sometimes just like doing nothing. If you enjoy doing stuff or maybe just watching the grass grow, waves crash on the beach or leaves blow in the wind perhaps we could become a pair.
55, Plymouth Meeting, PAI am very loving, compassionate, like to be very close to the woman that I love and want a partner for life to share in the things we like, going to places, dining, swimming.... I occasionally run a race. If you love someone make sacrifices unless you have good reasons. I will be flexible if you are. I will always have spiritual concern for you and others, friends, family for the necessary things in order to save your souls. Be casual, I like the sporty look of a runner even if you don't run. I am active and don't stay home unless I am a father which I'm not yet. Like any guy I like femininity. Both of us praying will help us stay together and help us make the right decisions for financial, long term planning, having children. Saving our souls is the first thing and I can guide you with and lead you the right way in morals and faith the way it was at the time of Pope Pius XII and before. Raising children properly and as Catholics is mandatory; Thinking of our children helping us later on if we cannot help ourselves should be a reason also and leaving them what we cannot bring with us in eternity is something you and I have to think about. There are other reasons why we should have children together first to increase the Kingdom of Heaven which is God's will. Now I am not resubscribing after 6 months of a lack of responses so I can be found elsewhere if you want to contact me. I will adapt to being a family man and do my best to be a good husband and father. I would expect the same for a wife and mother. My humor is sarcastic, deadpan and I have other forms, don't be offended. The way I dress, act... is the way I am. I dress casual most of the time, jeans, running sneakers, shorts, short sleave shirts, caps, pullovers... I dress different only when I have to and that includes a place that shoes, pants, dress shirt or jacket are appropriate but it's not part of my personality.
69, Narberth, PAA new catholic who is there every week, and I am in the choir. I am very conservative, calm, and have a dry sense of humor. I retired from Verizon, but still work for myself. Having had several very close relationships, but did not remarry. I have found that one can be alone, but it goes against the natural order of things. I will not be renewing CM ending 28 June 2015. My favorite Scripture verse: "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if there is anything excellent or praiseworthy - focus your mind on these things." 60, Lansdale, PAI see myself as reasonably easy going, witty and see humor in many of life's situations. I come from a NYC Irish Catholic family, where survival required much humor, laughter and street-wise sense! I am socially, politically and culturally aware and a bit of a "newsa-holic. At first I may come across as a little formal or reserved, but once acquainted I'll loosen up. I'm told I have a "Longuyland" or NYC accent when people first meet me and I say " Fuggetaboutit! Well, that's stolen from Brooklyn italians. I'm passionate about learning new things and I'm interested in a lot of different areas, (especially if it involves equipment/gear!!). I'd like to fly a seaplane someday or drive in a road rally on country roads. Touring by motorcycle and bicycle appeals to me. Maybe do some sailing except I'm not a great swimmer and I get seasick. I'm open to new possibilities. I am not rigid or deaf to criticism I've learned differences. I am smarter now about the care and feeding of relationships and have a better perspective on what really matters. Fun Fact: I was a child model in the 60s. One photo shoot involved dressing like an elf and loading luggage on a Boeing 707 plane at Kennedy Airport. (No, that doesn't make me a former runway model.) My ideal match would be someone who shares a similar values world view but also someone with who interests me as a desirable woman.
41, Philadelphia, PAPeople describe me as a more quiet and kind person with a strong heart. With my gentile personality I am not afraid thought to speak up for our Lord. I have a love of nature, walking, pets, travel, and lots of affection. A wonderful partner would be loving the Lord, prayer, and family.
43, Exton, PAHello. What I like most is the weather--talking about the weather, watching the seasons change. I think that the weather has been most influential in my life. As you can imagine, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Happy summer!
54, Philadelphia, PAI was greatly affected by my parents and teachers growing up. I had 16 years of Catholic education, and two years in a semi-public graduate school. I was influenced by friends who were writers, and by people i worked with. For many years I was passionate about writing, martial arts, prayer, and family, but life throws you curves and you sometimes are presented with situations and revelations that make you question everything. I fell in love with an atheist and married her in a civil ceremony. It was a disaster, Because of my upbringing, I stayed until my kids were raised. I am now in the process of rebuilding. I have always liked to make people laugh. For fun I do improv, read, write, do taichi, take long walks, travel, museums. I like all kinds of music except hip hop and some pop. I like movies, plays, hikes, going out to dinner, and trying to play guitar (beginner). I have been to Canada, Ireland, France, England, China, and the Bahamas. i have also been to 18 of the 50 state. I would like to travel more.
33, Philadelphia, PA"The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness." I was born and raised Roman Catholic and my faith plays a important role in my daily life and I strive to be the best Catholic that I can be and I pray daily now I am not saying that I am perfect, but I strive to be a saint! I looking forward to hear from you:)!
27, Downingtown, PAI am an accountant working in Malvern and living in Downingtown. I enjoy my job and work hard to make a meaningful career with the goal of someday supporting a family on my income only. I am also very active and love to spend my free time outside. I believe that being close to the natural world can teach us things about God and about ourselves that can't be learned anywhere else. I am very close to my family and my outlook on life is traditional. While not extremely outgoing, I enjoy being around people, especially friends and family and participate in social events such as dances and parties regularly.
32, Drexel Hill, PAI am passionate about music. I love to introduce and share with others, the beauty of the world, through music, because through beauty we are able to encounter God. I love classical music and I also love learning about authentic traditional music from other cultures. I have been influenced greatly by my teachers in general and especially my music teachers. I have also been greatly influenced by my education at a Catholic school, of which I have many fond memories. I am pretty self-motivated and I like to challenge myself to become better until I can achieve excellence, or as close to it as I am able. My second passion, besides music, is to learn different languages. I speak two African languages, in addition to English and French. I really enjoyed studying Greek and Latin in college and I strive to keep up with it my life. I am currently in the beginning stages of learning German. I am most fascinated by observing the way in which different cultures express what they value, detest, fear etc. through language. For leisure, I enjoy watching foreign films (French, German, Bollywood etc), and classic films from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I also enjoy reading a good book and trying out a new recipe. For a good, active afternoon or evening, I enjoy to spend time with friends, and to go dancing and listening to live folk music (American, Celtic etc). I love the beauty of the Catholic Liturgy as expressed in the Traditional Latin Mass, especially Gregorian Chant. I have also been enjoying learning about various Catholic customs. I am ever reminded of G. K. Chesterton's remark that "Tradition is democracy for the dead..." I suppose I am nothing if not egalitarian in this respect. I think that actively living out the Catholic Faith, has freed me to be able to enjoy this life which I have been given. Pax Christi, Anne
20, Downingtown, PASome things you should know about right me off the bat: I can be very quiet and shy at first, but once you get to know me, I am a pretty fun person. Often when I am speaking my brain is moving so fast that I can't get the words out right. I am trying to work on it, but for right now, it's just the way I am. I can be a workaholic sometimes. I love writing. I don't have much leisure time right now because I'm in college. My top favorite movies are: Patton, Gone with the Wind, Inception, and The Fellowship of the Ring. I have a lot of people whom I look up to, if I had to name one right now it would be Robert E. Lee. Do not message me if: 1. I don't care how much I like you, I do not believe in rushing into relationships. I want to start out as friends, get to know each other first, and then see what happens. If you are going to use that as an excuse to talk to other girls behind my back, then get off this page right now. 2. You overshare about your "dating life" on social media. I am very protective of my personal life. I don't see anything wrong with a picture from time to time, but I am not going to officially "declare" any relationship I get into on Facebook, maybe not ever. Again, I don't see anything wrong with telling someone that you are proud of them or love them for a birthday or something, but posting for the sake of posting is what I have a problem with. So in short: don't expect to be on my Facebook that much, and you cannot put any pictures of me or write anything about me on Facebook or any other form of social media unless you have my permission first. And don't even think about putting me in your profile picture. 3. You live in or plan on living in New Jersey in the future.
