55, Northampton, PAI am the oldest of 8 and love my nieces and nephews. Love sports, esp. baseball...a huge Yankees fan. Root for Steelers in football and went to Penn St. Love oldies music. Read a lot, trying to keep up with things. Very conservative in my beliefs and politics. Love trivia, am detailed, loyal, committed. Honest and up-front. You can determine the rest for yourself. I am 55, so being a new parent is most likely out. Just being realistic, here---that time was probably 10-25 years in the past.
34, Bentleyville, PAI have a hard time describing myself. If I had to pick a few words to describe myself I would have to say ambitious, passionate and caring. I really enjoy helping people. I have two nieces who are my two favorite people. I am not the typical 9 to 5 employee. No matter what I do I put in as much time as it takes to get a job done. I am a small business owner and I truly enjoy my work and do well at it, however I would give it all away for a happy family. I have the opportunity to help out with Habitat for Humanity because of what my company does, and we do so whenever we can. I don't have a lot of hobbies, but my list would include farming and working on anything mechanical. I have recentley tried kayaking and I really enjoyed it. I am also an aspiring pilot. My family and my faith are two of the most important things to me. I really enjoy the holidays when everyone can get together. I am "old school" I guess. I still believe in opening doors for my date and buying dinner. I treat everyone I meet with respect. I am a terrible dancer...oh yeah, I am...and probably a little idealistic, but thats me in 1135 characters.
33, Hazleton, PAI'm tremendously grateful to be a Catholic, choosing to adhere to the Faith in it's fullness. I'm here to see if there's a man who can help me get to Heaven, walk through life with me, and make the journey as fulfilling and joyful as possible along the way...even (and maybe especially!) through its bumps & detours. What does this man look like? Don't know! I'd like to find out! :) The Eucharist, beautiful architecture/art, quotes, Autumn, good conversation, and true people are a few of the things that make my heart happy. I love the Faith & the USA fiercely. (If you are an international gentleman, I ask you to carefully consider that I don't intend to raise a family outside the USA. :) I vote but fear deeply for the US considering the path she's on. (If you voted for Obama or Hillary please don't contact me.) I support our Armed Forces but could weep for laws concerning them that passed in the name of "tolerance." I love books. Hope you don't mind, because chances are my nose will be buried in one at some point! :) Is it crazy that a wonderful 1st date to me could be exploring a downtown, or finding a used bookstore or a colorful street bazaar to browse, going to an amusement park, enjoying a walk and picnic? ;) In dress, I try to strive for refinement without fastidiousness, modesty with grace, & individuality without rancor. It's a way I define my femininity in a world where lack of definition has become the new norm. Being a big sister, I've got a family I love. I know who I am as a woman, an American, & a faithful Catholic. I'd rather listen than talk...mostly. I'm a saver; can be trusted around bank accounts. (No, really, I can! Promise. ;) The pyramids of Egypt, the marvels of old Christendom, and the beauty here in America have long called me. Conversely, some of my most contented moments are in the kitchen armed with a good recipe & a glass of red wine. I do random things like spend an hour looking for beautiful art, have a smattering of Turkish and Korean I've picked up from some of their media pop into my thoughts, extol the Oxford comma, or the dangers of pesticides & GMOs in our food, turn on music from Armenia, discuss the letter of the law vs. the spirit of the law... Yes: wine, good dramas, gun ownership, and the right to buy as many shoes as I desire ;) Oppose: same-sex 'marriage', abortion, Islam, questionable "apparitions" such as Medjugorje, embryonic stem-cell research, euthanasia.
28, Mt Cobb, PAHi, I love the outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, shooting sports are my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy learning about history and visiting museums and landmarks. I have a basset hound named Copper. He's a great dog who finds enjoyment in everything. I work as a paramedic. Best job I ever had. I was raised near Scranton, pa and went to Sunday mass in the Byzantine Catholic Church. I go as often as I can, but work makes regular attendance quite difficult. Religion is still an important part of my life. I would like to find someone that is a practicing believer and might someday want to raise a family in the same fashion.
27, Pittsburgh, PANew to this online dating stuff but just wanted to see what was out there. I can be shy at first but open up once you get to know me. My job keeps me busy but I try to stay involved with my church as well. I'm looking for someone strong in their faith who can help me get to heaven.
42, York, PAI am honest, loyal, sincere and I do all I can to be a good person. Yet it's not for me to decide if I am a good person or not, that is your decision to make. I work hard, I don't know any other way to be but when I am not at work it would b nice to relax with someone special. Yes at onetime I was all about my career but life taught me that is a bad idea. I have to find an even mix of work and not working. I'm not sure what to say I like to do, as I don't do much of anything because it's kind of awkward to do anything alone. Dinner, movies and walking on the beach, it's just not the same when I'm alone. I have tried the whole bar thing and the club when I was younger, the club not my thing and bars, Those don't seem to be the type of people I am looking or. I am a hopeless romantic, I don't know where I get it from but I am. I don't need a special occasion to bring flowers or candies. I just do to express how important that one special person is. I am happy holding that one, as we watch a movie or holding hands as we walk or do whatever.
57, Catasauqua, PAThanks be to the Blessed Mother, I am passionate about my faith. Blessed to be Father of 4 grown and accomplished daughters. My youngest (25) is Down Syndrome and lives at home. Love the beach. Visit Florida once or twice a year to check on Mon & Dad and visit other family members. Enjoy dancing, movies, Adoration and visiting Catholic Shrines. Rome, San Giovanni Rotundo and the Blue Army Shrine were
24, Latrobe, PAHi! I'm Meredith. I love my Catholic faith, above all. It has been the greatest thing in my life and gotten my through so much, enough so that I actually just started a website and blog that is dedicated to it. I want to bring more people to this faith and help them understand and know the beauty of it. When not talking about church I love sports, my dog, doing hair & makeup, and fashion. My family is my everything, without them, I would be nothing. I am definitely looking forward to the day when I find my husband and have a family. When I was younger, when they would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was always a wife and a mom. Its my lifelong dream that I am patiently waiting for ;) If given the choice, I would spend all day on my social media accounts and Pinterest. In the summer, you can find me on a raft in my pool soaking up the sun!
45, Warminster, PAHi, my name is Steph. I am devout, and am looking forward to finding a man who is devout, as well. I look forward to knowing someone who lives the acronym JOY: Jesus first, others second, yourself third. I believe in serving others, and I try to lead by example when it comes to this. My passion is my Faith, but I desire to find someone who can lead me & not always look to me for leadership. That may not make sense, but that's because sometimes I have a hard time putting into words what I think in my head & feel in my heart. I have a dry sense of humor & can be sarcastic, but I have toned that down somewhat, as I found that it can be a turnoff. I can also be silly, which sometimes can be perceived as immature, but I see it as young at heart. I'm currently reading Matthew Kelly's REDISCOVER CATHOLICISM. So far it's an excellent book. I also like motorcycles & cars. My older son is learning to be a mechanic & loves cars, and he & I will sit and watch some of the shows on Velocity. I like to think of myself as a closet gearhead!
29, West Chester, PAAdventurer..Jesus lover..loving life! I am a high school Theology teacher..and I'm passionate about the faith. I love traveling..hanging out with friends..jamming to music with my friends (praise and worship) ..and laughing :)
57, Quarryville, PAI am passionate about meeting a person to share the word of god together in my life with. I look forward in meeting that person. The most influential in my life is meeting that person. In my leisure time spending time with that person.
37, Morgantown, PAHello friend! I converted into the Church in 1999. I have a deep love for the Holy Eucharist. One of my favorite things is going to adoration and being alone with Jesus. I love those simple yet holy moments. It seems like most of us don't take those moments enough, myself included. I love photography, especially taking pictures of animals and the beauty of nature. I also love taking walks and the simple things. One of my favorite places is Longwood Gardens. It's a place I can get lost in the beauty of nature and can be found there a few weekends a month. It's a place for me to bask in the wonders of God's creation. I have come to realize that every day there are holy moments all around us. We just have to open our eyes and enjoy those moments. I love the little things because they are what really matter in life. :D
