As the child of a career military officer, Ive lived in many places, including overseas. My junior and senior years of high school were spent with my family in Yokohama, Japan, where I graduated from a Catholic international school. While there, we traveled all over Japan and the Far East and loved every moment. These experiences and the good fortune of having been provided an excellent education from grade school through graduate school have been influential in allowing me to have professional and volunteer work that I love.

Hello, my name is Melissa. I am a widow with both my sons living at home. For now. In 2010 I became Catholic, after being one of Jehovah's Witnesses almost from birth. My faith is very important to me and any future relationship I have must have that same faith as it's cornerstone. I enjoy being out of doors as long as weather permits.I am not a winter person, if that winter means cold and snow lol. My hobbies include crochet and knitting, reading, writing, photography, hiking, camping and fishing. I am an intelligent person who enjoys having intelligent conversations. I also have a very good sense of humor and I believe laughter is the best medicine. I struggled to become Catholic and yet, I have fallen away to some extent. I want that back. I want a mate who will encourage me in my walk with God. I would like to find a man with a similar religious background, a convert to Catholicism.

I am one of the luckiest people I know. I would even venture to say blessed. I have never known a day when I couldnt reach out to someone for help. I have the honor of serving in the Army Reserves and just plain living in America. I love this country. I would say I am a bit a geek. I really enjoy fishing. I have drive to make something of myself. My dream is to own my own tobacco farm. I am not prone to thinking things through, and as a result can be a bit clumsy at times. But I am a good investment

Im "passionate" about having returned to the Church after 20 yrs. I'm joining Catholic Match because I'm serious about maintaining my faith and being able to continue to receive the sacraments unimpeded (if I were to be married). Who influenced my life? I would say it was the nuns and priest from my grade school era. It took me yrs. to realize that they had my best interest at heart. Another influence was my great aunt Mary, a devout Catholic; she was a serious person of prayer, always hopeful, kind and loving. She was my "grandmother." I am inspired by people like Dr. Scott Hahn and Dr. A. David Anders. Both men are converts who helped me see my ancestral faith with all the beauty and truth it offers. I'm retired. All my time is leisure time as it were because of this. At my old church, I coordinated a noon meal program for the needy. On the 4th Monday of each month we have a crew that cooks a meal. I also volunteer with a mediation team helping to settle neighborhood disputes. I keep up my RN license; I attend continuing education classes and do some (infrequent) private duty. I counsel in nutrition and answer nursing/medical questions. I have two cats and a dog, I enjoy my animals very much, They are very affectionate. I still enjoy riding motorcycles. Most of my family lives upstate. Re: Tattoos I only have one, a sm. Cross on my R. forearm.

I am recently retired and absolutely love having time to do so many things that I didn't have time for when I was working. I enjoy taking classes - all kinds of classes - dancing, art, photography, current events, etc. I love being able to be outdoors - walking, riding my bike, gardening and more. It's important to me to give back to my community by volunteering for a variety of things. I'm always looking for new things to experience.

My name is Tim. I am thirty years old. I work at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA. I graduated from Cabrini College in Radnor PA where I went on a golf scholarship and received a Bachelor's in History/Political Science. In my free time I enjoying cycling, running, and golfing. One of the things I am most proud of is being able to call myself a cancer survivor. Last November I was diagnosed with a very rare form of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and the only chance of survival was for me to receive a bone marrow transplant. So I did just that and on March 2, I received a transplant. I continue to fight every day and will continue to fight. Something that I am very devoted to and always have been since I can remember is being a Notre Dame fan. I am a huge Notre Dame football fan and bleed blue and gold during college football season. If you would like to learn more about me. Please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
