You know...there is nothing better than that true belly-laugh. You know the kind of laugh that you can't catch your breath, eyes are tearing up, and it's contagious to those around. I love to laugh it warms the heart and feeds the soul. Who doesn't enjoy to relaxing after a busy work week.. I have many diverse interests that I enjoy; foodie, wine, travel (especially beaches), reading, decorating my new home, live music, theater, and many more. There are many influential people...I am thankful for those people and experiences who have come into my life at the right moments that have shaped me into the person I am today.

Who should I give myself in total love as Christ loves the church? For this is what I am called to. I am most passionate about finding the truth. I love to learn and get ideas about things all the time. My family is a huge part of who I am. I grew up on a farm and like to grow my own food. I am very idealistic and practical and don't care about anaesthetics, though I enjoy beauty; the beauty of nature, people, etc. I also like to talk to people, so don't be shy...

Just your typical nurse working crazy schedules all the while going back to school for my masters in nursing education. When I am not at work or school, you can find me hanging out with my dog or on my boat in the summer. To me, family has always been important. Im not typically one who does these things. But i do believe God has a plan for everyone and some day i will find someone with the same values and morals.

I'm retired (35 years military) - for about 8 years now - and relaxing comfortably raising my 10 year old son. I am a single parent (Mom passed away). Quite frankly, many in my age range don't have the energy or desire for another round of kid...but I did and do. Best fun in retirement ever! To be clear - I am not mommy shopping, but I come as a package deal. You may feel free to run away now, as most do. I also have a daughter (an attorney) who is grown and out of the house with a family of her own. I'm a pretty simple guy in a sense - straightforward, opinionated but respectful of others. I do a lot of volunteer work with my son's parochial school, the church, and in the community. Leisure activities include Pirate baseball, golf, boating, camping (travel trailer style), playing the guitar and reading. Summer vacations are basically "what do you want to do today?", and anything is on the table, literally. I love to cook, keep a clean house and we live a good life. On a personal note, my serenity is raised by...ironing! What can I say? Ironing is therapy for me.

I love simplicity and a thrifty life well-lived. As much as I love a good meal, I don't need a lot to be happy. I'm a bit of a hobbit: I like to be comfortable and warm and drinking either beer or tea. I am often quiet and storing up a lot in my heart, but around the right company I love to bust out my dry and sometimes brutal sense of humor. I often find the adventure of life by finding God in the small and often overlooked, but I do love a good hiking trip or exploring a new city. Since I haven't travelled a lot, I have lots of mountains and cities to discover! I read and write and think a lot, and will often draw away to do so. But I benefit from friends who will pull me out of the house. I am also a steady and loyal friend, so I go out of my way to make time for those close to me. I like taking care of people. I perceive a vocation to family life, and I really look forward to being a mom (God-willing). In building a home this way, I would like to offer the love of God to friends and strangers alike. I also perceive a vocation to contribute in Catholic writing and publishing, and to communicate the life of faith to the heart of hungry people.

I enjoy the outdoors and summertime! What I do exactly can vary from baseball to fishing. Wintertime can only be offset by Christmas and skiing (which is a dangerous activity for me)

I'm reserved, somewhat eccentric, and can enjoy the quiet life at home. I don't do it much, but I enjoy evenings with good friends in small bars. I've lived in Philly, New York, and Arkansas. Pittsburgh is always home, of course.

Where do I start? LOL I have grown into a person who's life revolves around their faith. I try to at least end my day thanking and asking the Father for my temporal and more importantly, spiritual gifts and needs. It really means a lot to me to connect with someone who feels and believes like I do and that has God at the center of their life. I love getting to know new people and to be able to have open discussions. My experiences regarding my faith have meant the most for me (that is to be explained more in detail at a later point!:)) I am very close to my family all of which live in the same area of PA that I do. I have a great family and many fond memories that have been shared and I'm sure even better ones that will be shared in the future with them. My parents did a great job in giving us the faith/morals which were ingrained in us at a very early age. I owe everything to them. I love speaking and thinking about our Creator! Having a relationship with Him helps me to better focus on what He has in store for me which explains why I registered here! I have dedicated to having Him as my Auto Pilot! In addition to my faith, I love to do anything outdoors, watching movies, music, and sports. I watch less and less of the major professional sports and have gotten into Collegiate sports recently. They seem to have the willingness to work harder. The desire to be professionals. As much as I have enjoyed telling you about me, I would love to hear from you! So what are you waiting for?:)
