I am a dependable, honest hard working guy. This is not where I pictured myself 15 yrs ago, but I am starting over, and would like a partner this time. I am looking for a women of strength...not societies ideal picure of a strong woman. I am a decent man with a moral compass. I am far from perfect, but that's what this journey we call life is all about, living and learning. I like to flyfish, hunt, camp, kayaking, dance Westcoast Swing and Two-step. I like to be outdoors, applepicking, a nice walk on the beach. Eat in or dine out. It doesn't matter as long as the company is good. Care to join me?

Hi, my name is Bill. I'm divorced (marriage anulled). I'm a practicing Catholic looking for a practicing Catholic woman. I've seen it said on these sites that "I don't need someone, I'm fine by myself, but it would be nice to have a relationship." I'm not making any judgments about that sentiment but that is not the case for me. I want a new car, that'd be nice, but if I can't have it I'll be fine. I do, however, need someone in my life. It's not okay if I don't have someone to share my life with. And, I need someone who needs me too. The good stuff just isn't so good if I don't have someone to share it with. When I see a beautiful sunset I don't want to just enjoy it, I want to say "Oh look" to the woman I love sharing life with. The same is true, perhaps more true, when bad things happen. It is so awesome to be able be there for someone you love or to have someone there for you. I don't just want that, I need that. If that makes me needy so be it. I have a serious contemplative side but I also think silliness is underated and I often work to make sure I have some in my life. I like to stay active and go for a run most days. However, sometimes I think I run in the morning just so I can have my ice cream at night. I'm also a two time cancer survivor. That'll give you a different perspective of and appreciation for life. I'm self-employed and pretty much make my own hours. I try to start each day with mass and then a quick run. I have some hobbies that I enjoy and it would be great, but not necessary, if you shared these interests (e.g., running, golf, music). I play guitar and have a rather large group of friends who are also musicians and we often gather to play at one of our homes or at a local coffee house. Anyhow, I hope you'll view my profile and contact me if you're interested. Bye for now. Bill

Thanks for reading my profile. First and foremost, the Catholic faith is everything to me. I have grown a lot in my love for Christ and His Church and want to grow more, preferably with my husband at my side! A big part of my love for the faith has been attending the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday. It's easily the highlight of my week. The reverence and palpable sense of the sacred are undeniable, and I am at home there. Admittedly I am somewhat of a late-bloomer. But with God's guidance, I hope to meet my companion in life. Temperamentally speaking, I am melancholic/choleric, which is a pretty accurate description. I enjoy conversation on lots of topics from current events and politics to history, philosophy and the faith. There's nothing better than spending time with someone where the conversation is edifying, fun and flows naturally. I do enjoy the outdoors and like to keep fit. I prefer keeping it simple when it comes to activities - like being around my young niece and nephews, working outside in my mom's yard, exercising, cooking or reading. As far as my family, my siblings and I were raised by amazing parents who were married 45 years. My father has since passed away (fittingly, on the feast day of St. Joseph), but left an example of courage, kindness, intellectual strength and a strong devotion to the Truth of the faith. I'm trying to follow his example. I have a great relationship with my mom who needs me more and more these days. I am blessed with 2 nieces and 7 nephews. Kids bring a joy to life that is contagious. I hope to hear from you!

Sorry I don't have any photos posted. I can send you some upon request. I have never done online dating before, but I've heard it can be a disaster. I'm not interested in meeting anyone who does not take the Catholic faith seriously. That, to me, is the foundation upon which to build any lasting relationship. The thing I find most attractive in a woman is a strong faith. I'm not going to say much more than that. What else can I say in such a short space anyway.

Salve. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

I am a Navy sailor. Through God's grace I've had a career that took me from Great Lakes, Illinois, sent me to San Antonio, Texas, from there to San Diego, California, and finally down here to Rhode Island. I am a Surgical Tehnologist aiming to become an anesthesiologist. I love to work with my hands and being active with others in social settings. I love solving problems, fixing things, and improving anything that isn't at its best. Once I'm married, I aim to be a Deacon. I prefer simple meals to fancy foods. I am a huge gamer, can also be considered a nerd. I've been told I have a heart of gold, and have been likened to an old book (on account of my "old soul" and how much I enjoy reading and writing). I am very chivalrous, and will spoil my lady rotten. Family is important to me, and I should state I am VERY MUCH a patriot. I shy away from no topics, and in fact, I LOVE debating with people. I also believe in open communication between partners, with any differences or issues being settled behind closed doors. I have been active in my home parish as an Altar Server (a post I still hold) a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister, and have been looking into ushering as well.
