I have a bubbly personality, a good sense of humor and a sense of wonder for God's creation. Sometimes I'm active, outside enjoying nature and sometimes I just sit back and relax around a good meal, fine wine and conversation with friends. People tend to describe me as very creative. I enjoy the 'arts' and tend to notice details. My mom taught art and piano and art and music are very much are part of who I am. Lots of things interest me- travel, gardening, walking, birdwatching & butterflying, photography, music and cooking. I do love nature and spend a lot of my free time walking at local Audubon properties. I had a horse growing up and have helped on a small farm. I would someday love to do some hiking in the National Parks around the country. Although I don't watch most sports, I have participated in many at various times: swing and ballroom dancing, hiking, horseback riding, figure skating, softball, tennis and golf. I spent some years caring for my mom and came to appreciate the values, culture and music of the WWII generation. My mom is recently deceased and I am now ready to focus on finding my soul mate. I believe a relationship has to be a total giving of oneself to the other - JP II's Theology of the Body. I am just trying to do God's Will each day and and follow where He leads with my faith as the basis from which I live my life. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Life is filled with wonder and blessings. I love sharing and conversing about all of it. And, of course, there's the element of humor in everything. I love to laugh! As a life-long New Englander, not much makes me smile more than a Red Sox win, a brisk evening out on my deck, or the many amazing Italian restaurants we have here. I also enjoy hosting dinner parties and going to see anything in the arts, from a concert to a movie to a play. Im a big advocate of balance in life, in whatever way that can be achieved. The last thing, but certainly not the least, is my faith. I have a very active spiritual life, and sharing that is important to me. I sing and play guitar at mass, which is a great way to start off a Sunday morning after a cup of coffee, of course. :)

I love life, truth, and good humor. I love to dance. I am a registered nurse with 2 adopted children (girls) and a son. I am high energy, honest, fun-loving. Never thought I would do something like this but the idea that there was a website that not only promoted relationships but was concerned with the will of God was too compelling.

Thank you for reading my profile. First and foremost, I am grateful for the gift of the Catholic faith. I have grown a lot in my love for Christ and His Church and want to grow more, hopefully with my husband at my side! Admittedly I am somewhat of a late-bloomer. But alas, finding a like-minded Catholic where there is mutual interest in this day and age is not easy. I have hope though. He will find me, or I will find him - with God's guidance. A big part of my growing love for the faith has been my attendance at the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday. I've been attending for years now, and it's easily the highlight of my week. The reverence and palpable sense of the sacred keep me coming back. Temperamentally speaking, I am melancholic/choleric, which is a pretty accurate description. I enjoy conversation on lots of topics from current events, politics and culture to history and philosophy, and of course the faith. There's nothing better than spending time with someone where the conversation is edifying, fun and flows naturally. I do enjoy the outdoors and like to keep fit. I prefer keeping it simple when it comes to activities - like being around my young niece and nephews, working outside in my mom's yard (whether gardening or mowing the lawn or stacking wood), exercising, cooking or reading on the patio with a glass of wine. Travel is definitely something I hope to do more of in the future - not alone though. As far as my family, my siblings and I were raised by amazing parents who were married 45 years. My father has since passed away (fittingly, on the feast day of St. Joseph), but left an example of courage, kindness, intellectual strength and a strong devotion to the Truth of the faith. I'm trying to follow his example. I have a great relationship with my mom who needs my help more and more these days. To date, I am blessed with 2 nieces and 7 nephews. Kids bring a joy to life that is contagious. I look forward to hearing from you!

Friends, family, and faith are all very important to me. I love sports, the beach, traveling, reading- (especially history as that's what I teach), and real estate. I'm patient, easy going, and I really love to laugh. I want to meet someone who will enjoy sharing her life with me as I will with her and is interested in marriage.

Hi there... I'm new to the East Coast and relatively new to the dating scene, and have had several people suggest I try CatholicMatch. I'm passionate about being outdoors...I love hiking, camping, cycling, beach days, long walks, sitting on my front porch with coffee, working in the garden. I love the hours in the morning before the world is at full speed. Physical activity equals peace for me: time to think and discuss, reflect, or just let my mind be still. I love small groups, few friends, peace and quiet, conversation and discussions. I look for smart, witty people, I enjoy good food, travel, music and am always open to new things. Did I mention I love coffee? I have 2 elementary school aged kids, so my life is pretty hectic. My mother lives with me, also a bit of challenge as much as its a blessing. I often try to fit in things that can go together: I cycle to work to get exercise, save the car and have some quite time to myself. I take the kids hiking to tire them out, get us all outside, see new parts of the area, and teach them.

the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. ps23
