31, Newport, RII think I'm a pretty simple person. I don't have anything to hide, I don't have any drama in my life, and I don't need coffee to wake up or medication to be happy. I'm working full-time and am in school part time going for my M.B.A degree. Other than school/work, I like to go sit by the ocean and admire the view, walk on the cliffwalk, practice my cooking skills (because I need A LOT of practice), and hanging out with my sis and friends. I'll end this intro with one of my favorite quotes (taken from the classic tv show: The Wonder Years). It seems appropriate to share here: "All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope....all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us."
31, Warwick, RII'm not sure what to write at times like these... I think it is very difficult to judge a person in a few words; My faith is very important to me and I'm hoping for the chance to meet someone who shares similar values. Whatever is meant to be shall be.
34, Newport, RIIt's a big world out there and it's worth seeing. I enjoy travel, art, culture and cuisine. I take my faith with me where ever I go. I believe in honor, virtue and love. Life is an adventure and I'm looking for some one to share an adventure with. I'm a New England transplant. I moved to Rhode Island back in April and am slowly settling into life here. Previously I was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan with the US Navy. I lived in Japan almost four years and loved every minute of it, but it's now time to adjust to living in the States again. Trust me, there is such thing as reverse culture shock! The site temperament test says I'm a melancholic-choleric. I've been told I'm more of a phlegmatic. Maybe because I have too much phlegm (ehhem). That was a bad joke. I have my father's sense of humor, dry, and a bit cheesy. I love Monte Python, a good pun and the ever elusive triple entendre, if that gives you an idea of my sense of humor. I should also mention that I smile like a trout! I'll be honest, having spent a fair amount of time on the other side of the world presented obvious challenges to making any relationship work, but I've never been one to shy away from a thing because it was difficult. The difficult things in life are the ones most worth doing. That said, I find introductions to be the most difficult. How do you introduce yourself to a perfect stranger based on a few photos and a couple paragraphs. If you know how please let me know. I promise I can continue a conversation from there.
22, Tiverton, RIHey, my name is Mitch,I am a full-time student who is going to college to become a teacher. I am the oldest of six kids, and I was homeschooled by parents and raised in a very catholic household. My whole life I was taught that you worked for everything that you earned, I work two jobs while I go to school. I have kind of an old fashioned style when it comes to dating. On my free time I like to just relax at the pond up the street from my house, shoot pool with my friends, or hang out with my sister. I'm also very involved with my church, I teach CCD for the fifth grade, and I regularly help out at the confirmation retreats.
30, Providence, RIThe most important relationship in my life is the one I have with Jesus Christ. After that it's my dog, Lester. I'm a community health nurse and I'm passionate about using my skills to help those most in need. I have a lot of experience doing mission work overseas and that's something I'd like to share with my future spouse and family. I come alive when I'm serving the poor. My wanderlust is insatiable. In the past 2 years I've been to seven new countries. I live a simple, but full life.
26, Narragansett, RIHi! I am a missionary with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). I am from St. Louis, MO and I love being from the Midwest even though I am currently a transplant to the Northeast. Some of the most important things in my life are my faith and my family. As a missionary, I love that it is my full time job to get to know people from all walks of life and I get to hear their stories as well as to share my own. I have enjoyed traveling around the US as well as to several other continents but some of my favorite things are still a good home cooked meal and a long walk. I am addicted tea and crocheting and I would be hard-pressed to find a hobby that I don't like. Recently I have rekindled my love of reading and I am working my way though my bookcase of books that I have collected over the years. I am sure there are plenty of more interesting things about me but for now that's all!
34, Pawtucket, RIHello there! Its always a pleasure to meet new people, some good ones... All about me is honesty, curiosity, creativity, love, good maners, respect, hard work, laugh, life, family, progress, learning, reading,.. live life to the fullest but simple..
33, Lincoln, RIYou can best describe me as caring, fun, loving, honest, and loyal. I've always been a glass is half full type of person. I love being active and would enjoy finding someone to share things with. Day trips, vacations, spending time with friends and family, Random car rides, or enjoying a good ball game make me happy. I was an altar boy for 12 years, and my faith has always been an important part of my life. I've been blessed with two beautiful children. This may be a lot of some people to handle, and it may not seem like I am the "ideal" Catholic. Life does happen, and we learn from things we do and people we should never have been with. However, I will never regret it, as my children are my perfection. I would love to find a girl with a big heart and a lot of love to give! I usually wear sweaters or button downs in the winter and fall, and polos in the summer. I know how to rock a suit too! The White Mountains or Acadia National Park are my favorite vacation spots. I do love the snow, but I'd sure love to be on a boat out on a lake somewhere right now! I love to have long intelligent conversations especially if it's about religion or politics, and I'm always up for trying something new:) I'd love to hear from anyone!
30, Lincoln, RIReligion; Jesus Christ is my whole life, so I'm trying to use all of me to serve him as he served us. If I find the woman who loves God more than me, then I found the perfect wife.
20, Coventry, RII'm a guy looking for a woman spend of my life with. My Catholic faith is very important to me, and I am always looking for ways to grow closer to God. I'm a bit of a geek who loves the outdoors and new experiences.
34, Central Falls, RI
21, Newport, RII am a Navy sailor. Through God's grace I've had a career that took me from Great Lakes, Illinois, sent me to San Antonio, Texas, from there to San Diego, California, and finally down here to Rhode Island. I am a Surgical Tehnologist aiming to become an anesthesiologist. I love to work with my hands and being active with others in social settings. I love solving problems, fixing things, and improving anything that isn't at its best. Once I'm married, I aim to be a Deacon. I prefer simple meals to fancy foods. I am a huge gamer, can also be considered a nerd. I've been told I have a heart of gold, and have been likened to an old book (on account of my "old soul" and how much I enjoy reading and writing). I am very chivalrous, and will spoil my lady rotten. Family is important to me, and I should state I am VERY MUCH a patriot. I shy away from no topics, and in fact, I LOVE debating with people. I also believe in open communication between partners, with any differences or issues being settled behind closed doors. I have been active in my home parish as an Altar Server (a post I still hold) a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister, and have been looking into ushering as well.
