I look forward to.. well every thing! as Gratitude is my best friend ,long time companion. The morning light, hot shower, friends,a strangers smile. Truth is, the simple blessings are those that I love most. We are each creators of our present state and future.( Many bible references to indicate this truth).
I look forward to bike rides, walking ,time on and in the water, someone I love to distraction, good movies, comfortable settings, challenges,...
There have been many mis reads of the bible verse original intentions. ( hence the hundreds of splintered off jewish, christian, faiths). Luckily, I had a few good people,(nuns and priests also) for friends in life, to help me sift through a lot of that. They're still showing up.
Most influential people in my life so far have been those that extended unconditional love my way ,and those who lived briefly here but left words in print and music score, for all of us to enjoy/ learn from. People such as,dad, sister Margot, St. Francis of Assisi,Annie Besant,Mozart,Kahil Gibran, Abraham..... The list is long and growing!
I like to think of myself as most fortunate in this life. I have much to be thankful for.
I am most passionate about the ever unfolding truths in life , I keep an open mind. I remain open to a woman who chooses to live on purpose, and to continuously foster love passing through her heart.
Often am I found enjoying physical activity at work and at home. I thoroughly enjoy staying fit ,adventures great and small, good food, rest and relax time, conversations with a gentle person who listens.
I like the idea of making some plans together, and then seeing them through. ( and adjusting along the way when plans are sometimes thwarted by life as 'tis) Hahaha. like the last time some friends and I planned a short 24 hour canoe trip...only to find the stored canoe was swiped.( I decided immediately that this was only ' life giving us a wee lesson' on how to deal with a hiccup) The trip turned out great ! The swiped canoe turned out to be 'borrowed' and discarded 300 metres upstream from our destination! I'm still smiling.
