I am a security guard in South Dakota but I moved here from California where I grew up. Had a bit of adventure as I spent four years in China teaching english between 2004-2008. I am a revert to the Church as I left the church in about 1986 and became an evangelical Christian. I returned to the Catholic Church in 2007 and I am very involved in my parish. I am also a knight of columbus. I feel I am a person who has much love to give some one. I am far from perfect but I take my faith seriously and I am always trying to grow spiritually. My biggest personal struggle was with my weight but I have lost seventy pounds in the last two years and my weight is now close to normal as I weigh under two hundred pounds. I work out regularly at the ymca and I take this part of my live very seriously. I also like dancing and I have recently been taking swing dance lessons. I look forward to corresponding with yo Thank you.you

I'll be leaving here the 12th of March when my subscription runs out. I'm no longer looking for anyone in particular. I have made some new friends and continue to enjoy correspondence and may meet in person some time. Don't feel the need to find more new friends. ********************************************************* I'm an outdoors man. Hunting, fishing, farming, ranching and gardening. I also write stories and have self published a few books, mostly humorous. I like to dance, watch movies, play cards and take short trips exploring new areas. Anything horse related is also of interest as I still own two. 4h horse show and high school rodeo events are fun as I can watch the younger generations doing what I used to do. I like to visit. I have a good reputation in my community and can furnish online credibility as to who I am. 2016 is a leap year. Leap years, the gals are supposed to ask the guys. I sure won't be offended if a gal makes the first contact. I'm open to more friendships. One can always learn something new from another person. Friendship doesn't have to lead to a dating relationship unless both want it that way. Since I'm not a solo long distance traveler, dating anyone further than 150 miles from home is mostly improbably for me. I have a lot of irons in the fire and goals I want to accomplish this year, before i slow down.

I enjoy watching sunsets from my kayak in the summer. I like to swim, and started competing a few years ago. My friends think I am crazy because I like snow, except when it rains then turns to ice before it snows.

"Deep waters cannot quench love, nor floods sweep it away." We all long for the fiery love that Song of Songs images through vivid prose. I desire an intense flaming love with my God that could be lived giving agape to a wife and children! Our God has gifted us all with something to share, and I hope to share my strength, being the spiritual leader of my household. I see incredible beauty in the faces of farming families with several children. They are so joyful! I imagine my future family imitating their deep faith, working side by side, gathering around the table for family meals, and praying. I pray that my future family could be a light to others who struggle with the challenges of this passing age, because we will be focused on the eternal. Are you ready to change the world simply by living God's commandments in one corner of the world? Perhaps we could start a fire that deep waters will never quench!

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, I come from a traditional catholic family. My parents are both married and had 5 daughters. Yes, that's right... 5 girls! No boys, that means I never had a big brother to pick on me or a baby brother to blame things on. What a shame right? And lets not forget about my poor father... he's aged considerably faster than I think he was meant to. I guess that's what having so many girls does to a man. Anywho, we were all homeschooled when my mother realized that she could teach us what we needed to know without trusting us to a stranger. As much as I hated being a "homeschooler" and missing out on all of the "fun" the other kids were able to experience in school, I have to admit that she did a very good job. Both of my older two sisters have their PHD's, the rest of us have at least a Bachelors degree. I think my mom did an O.K. job with us... how else did we get through college? While we were in our K-12 years, our parents mandated that we 1. play an instrument and 2. play a sport. While we lived in their home, those two requirements had to be met. We were active with swim team, gymnastics, orchestra, soccer, volleyball, etc. It kept us social and active. We never had problems making friends. Today, I have found new sports and activities that I enjoy. I've picked up snowboarding in the last several years and I absolutely love hiking and exploring the outdoors when time and weather allow. I recently purchased my first motorcycle, a little Ninja 500R and love taking it out whenever I have a chance. I hope to upgrade to a streetbike sometime soon, but I don't know that I ever want to get rid of the Ninja. I've become quite attached to it. I moved to Rapid City, SD to return to school to become an Engineer. I did not care for the direction my life was headed previously and decided to make a career change. It was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever made and I don't regret it one bit. That being said, I am a student again and have found it difficult to meet other's my age with similar beliefs that are able to understand my schedule and educational responsibilities.

Basically, I love life, the Lord and my family. I like to travel, try new places, cook and spend time in the great outdoors with my pup Mya while I'm not in school completing my doctoral degree in post-secondary education. Now, I realize not much was revealed about who I truly am on purpose. If you'd like to know more feel free to say "hi" if not then I'll never know you scrolled through my profile (I don't think I will at least I'm not sure it's my first time on a dating website [?] ). A connection on paper or through a computer screen is great but it's not the end all be all. I enjoy the older thoughts on dating i.e. conversation, getting to know each other etc. I'm just a simple country boy who recently moved to South Dakota from Missouri looking for someone to share life with, but, it's more fun when you share [?]

Hey there! My name is Mario... There is not much too say about me. I am just a normal guy following the path God has outlined for me. I spend most days working, at the gym, or around people I care about. I have been raised in a Catholic family, so finding someone of the same faith is important to me. Anyways, if you have any questions please ask. Let's see what God has in store for us. PS: Those are my nephews in the picture.

I am a farmer/rancher in south dakota. I love hunting and trapping with a passion. I enjoy working with cattle on the farm and when fall rolls around doing alot of hunting. My parents are both very good influences in my life. My mom was the main religious influence growing up and she is who I get my faith from. My dad raised us to work on the farm and with cattle so he is who I get my love for the farm and rural life from. I enjoy kicking back in the evening and relaxing but if it is deer season I am more likely to be found in a treestand.

Much of my motivation and inspiration in life has come through my family and faith life. I was raised going to church on Sudays. To be totally honest I have drifted in and out of the church a few times in my life. I sometimes find it hard to go alone. I know I am never alone with the Lord by my side. It should be no others than my own obligation to attend mass, however I would love to have someone in my life to share going to mass with again. I have been brought up where determination and hard work deem great reward. Finding satisfaction in helping others is the greatest reward of them all. I am an outdoor enthusiast and love to see all the beauties that God has created. It could be enjoying the lakes, hills, and prairies, or gazing to the sky in the great unknown. I also have many hobbies and little talents that I enjoy tinkering with.
