I have played men's softball on the same team for 30 years. Enjoy watching football and basketball on TV. I periodically attend live concerts in Knoxville and Atlanta. My hometown is Cincinnati, but I have lived in Knoxville for over 30 years and plan to retire here. I enjoy boating, water-skiing, hiking, and yard work. I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, but life would be more fulfilling with a special lady to share life's daily challenges, conversation, meals, taking a walk, hiking, exercising, taking a boat ski ride, spending the day at Dollywood, or going dancing. I have taken line dance and East Coast Swing lessons but need a regular partner to get more proficient at swing dancing. I am a member of National Fitness Center where I enjoying taking group classes. I'm looking for an active woman of petite, slender, or athletic build.

I am a 64 year old widow with two grown children who are on their own. Two grandsons living close by. My 87 year old dad lives with me since my mom passed away, and I have two dogs. I work full time and bowl two times per week. I believe a person should take care of their mind, body and spiritual life. My faith, family and friends are very important to me. I enjoy traveling either the beach or the mountains, and quiet evenings at home. I enjoy antiquing, crocheting, walking, and bowling just to name a few things. I like working and gardening outside. Would like to find someone who has similar interests. I believe in communication, honesty, integrity and a person who is self confident in who they are, and what they want in the next chapter of their life. Also, It would be difficultt for me to have a relationship with someone who lives more than fifth miles of Chattanooga.

While I enjoy interesting, active people who like the outdoors and who like variety in their life. I also have my own interests which involve historical research and reading. I combine my fascination with the Civil War with occasional travel to such sites. I am passionate about my interests and enjoy sharing my interests with others. I am a former motorcyclist who would like to get involved again. I love most sports and continue working out on a regular basis. I enjoy watching sports as well, but not to excess. I value my faith above all else and appreciate those who do the same. Singing in a choir at Sunday Mass allows me to pray both with words and with song. I am introspective, analytical, meticulous, and organized. I love to laugh. My 13-year-old daughter is with me on alternating weeks as I share custody with her mother. She consumes my time when she is with me. She is in seventh grade at a Catholic school. I am in retirement but I know I also need to work to pay the bills. I have been involved in emergency management (ex-fire chief), training, and teaching all of my career. Opportunities are available if I move from the area. I am unwilling to do this because of my daughter. I want to continue to learn about life and to share my interests with someone whose love of faith and life is as passionate as my own.

Cherished, loved and honored by God. Being secure in this love helps me to unite my joy and suffering to Jesus in a redemptive way. Surely, the more one is in tune with this, the more perfectly one is able to love, in all the different ways: Agape, Eros, and Filial. My church and prayer group friends are important. My intention is to catch up on all those great spiritual books I have. I love to go to daily Mass when possible; Lunch with friends; Line dance at the Senior Center; and attend dance lessons, ie: Round and Western Square Dance; Contra; some ballroom like simple Swing and Waltz for socialization and exercise. I love a good festival with crafts and music in the spring or fall. Or dress nicely and attend the symphony. Love the ocean & mountains. Haven't been to Europe yet still intend to, but just happy with an old Cary Grant movie, a mocha coffee, my dog and a few friends. Really I have had varied interests. I learned a little canoeing. Love to work in clay and fiber arts. Stopped at a sheep farm once & sheared a sheep. Spun the wool ,Made a scarf for my son. I can draw and paint, & quilt. I have hiked all the Smoky Mtn. trails. enjoyed camping and white water rafting in my earlier days. Each of us has quality people right in our own backyard. we just wonder about that "special someone" don't we? Our hearts are just gonna be restless till we rest in The One who knows & loves us and is with us ALWAYS. He directs our paths, and even introduces us to some special friends along the way. God Bless.

I am a life long Catholic, 65 years old, and widowed for 2 1/2 years following a 41 year marriage. I have three adult children and nine grandchildren. I continue to work full time and have no vision of retiring and settling in to an inactive or unproductive life. I am conservative in my outlook on life, religious and political convictions, and lifestyle. I am passionate about family, especially when it comes to opportunities to enrich the lives of my grandchildren. I am also committed to a number of charitable and community service endeavors. There have been a number of individuals who have been a significant influence in my life. My maternal grandfather, a young priest who never gave up on me despite his relentless but futile attempt to teach me Latin, and my father-in-law. What they taught me by the example they set will stay with me and influence my life forever. In my leisure time, I enjoy listening to various forms of music, going to plays and concerts, attending athletic events, and engaging in the wide range of activities sponsored by my KoC Council.

I have used Catholic Match before and thought I would give it another try. I am now 68 years old, a widower for almost five years and truly miss the companionship of a female partner to love and help find happiness. I live with a four year-old Chihuahua who I named, Melanie. I am active in the pro-life movement, managing a monthly display of our county's abortion sign with 51 crosses to help put an end to this horrific crime. I was blessed to be raised as a Roman Catholic from birth along with four brothers and three sisters in a loving home near Cleveland, Ohio. I have lived in the "Volunteer" State of Tennessee for over 30 years close to the Great Smoky Mountains.

I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 5 all of whom I adore. I have a dog named Willow and we walk or run 3 to 5 miles everyday. Hiking with my friends is a passion I have enjoyed for many years. I love to garden and always have fresh flowers in my house. I love living in the city with all the excitement and availability of good food, good entertainment and good friends, but cherish my time on a farm in the country as well. I am usually into a good book at any given time. I have traveled both nationally and internationally. I am a good cook and like all types of food.

I moved here from FL 6 months ago and just love it. I was born in NC but moved to FL when I was 5 years old. I retired 2 years ago and was ready for a change. I wanted the 4 seasons and in Florida you don't have that. I love the fall and can't wait for the weather to get cooler & the leaves to change. I love walking for exercise. My parents to have been the most influential in my life. I attended Catholic school grades 1 through 8 and then attended public high school. There were 5 children altogether, all girls and at times it was a struggle to keep us all in Catholic school because of the tuition. I am looking for someone to explore the Great Smoky Mountains with, a movie, disc golf which my daughter introduced me to when I was in VA in August. I enjoy the outdoors when the weather is not too hot.

Egg tempera painting, printmaking, motorhome trips, electronics, choral singing, and cast iron cooking occupy my free time. Tree farm maintenance takes more than the rest of my time (the land was been in the family since 1792). Born the second of thirteen children, I am the patriarch of our family (I have an older sister, the Matriarch). My first wife stayed married to for forty-nine+ years, but then she died. My five year old grand-daughter told me to go out and get her another Grandma! I cook, clean, do dishes and the wash, I even do windows but I hate living alone..
