68, Knoxville, TNI am a life long Catholic, 65 years old, and widowed for 2 1/2 years following a 41 year marriage. I have three adult children and nine grandchildren. I continue to work full time and have no vision of retiring and settling in to an inactive or unproductive life. I am conservative in my outlook on life, religious and political convictions, and lifestyle. I am passionate about family, especially when it comes to opportunities to enrich the lives of my grandchildren. I am also committed to a number of charitable and community service endeavors. There have been a number of individuals who have been a significant influence in my life. My maternal grandfather, a young priest who never gave up on me despite his relentless but futile attempt to teach me Latin, and my father-in-law. What they taught me by the example they set will stay with me and influence my life forever. In my leisure time, I enjoy listening to various forms of music, going to plays and concerts, attending athletic events, and engaging in the wide range of activities sponsored by my KoC Council.

26, Elizabethton, TNI'm a convert from Lutheranism, but have loved the Catholic Church since I was a child. In particular, I loved the rosary. I now pray it every day, and draw great comfort from "Mary's psalter." The biggest "watershed moment," when I couldn't ignore the calls of the Church any longer, was when I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Hungary. There, I visited St. Istvan's Basilica, in Budapest, and saw the relic of his right hand. Something cracked open in my heart, and I could only adore the holiness of Christ that dwelled in St. Stephen of Hungary. When relaxing after a long day at work being a housekeeper at a hospital, I listen to music on Spotify - my favorite artists, other than hymns, chant/Mass settings, or classical music, are Skillet, Matt Maher, Breaking Benjamin, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, Nightwish, and Nox Arcana. I also work on writing stories - I'm an aspiring author and would like to be published someday. When I want to watch TV, I usually watch Daredevil or The Crown. However, I prefer movies - my all - time favorites are: Ben - Hur; Now, Voyager; Crimson Peak; just about any Vincent Price movie; and Fury.
29, Maryville, TNIt's probably best to start with: I'm a convert! I recently received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist on October 8th! I absolutely love the Church, and I finally feel that I'm home. I'm currently pursuing a PhD in philosophy.
23, Knoxville, TNI'm a laid back but motivated guy that is looking for the girl that God has set aside for me. My family lives in Pittsburgh, but I'm a graduate student at the University of Tennessee now! Whenever I'm not studying or working, though, I'm probably at the gym or just hanging out with people in a calm setting.
46, LaFollette, TNHey, I was raised in a parochial catholic school, but my family wasn't Catholic in any way, the opposite really even though many of my famous ancestors played a real part in Catholic history. So after about the 5th grade or so felt abandoned, as I wasn't on a church doorstep anymore and began to wonder the wild and wooly sides of life, though always cognizant of my Catholic roots. For instance thinking divorce scary at 8 years old for no remembered reason at all (but seeing all the bad that happened to my family when my younger brother got married a second time, I'm thinking it's a state of warning no that I'm a man of science), a quiet methodical study of religions, basic forthright, seeking and service to Universal Truth and really appreciate temples of all types. A So I was setting in some den of iniquity keeping order and higher ideals in mind like only I could among the barbarians and a priest walks in and orders a BBQ sandwich and announces himself as the to Pastor at OLPH. I mention I'd been thinking about going to church (some thirty years as that's how long it takes for a priest to cross one's path). He said sure, and later he said that he heard it all the time, but no one ever followed through with it in his experience till I did and I've been attending Mass ever since. That's when I realized I enjoy the Catholic lifestyle, thinking hey there might be something like nice women, nice able-bodied able-minded catholic women. Something I really hadn't seen as I'm fairly sure grade school doesn't count. I believe in Catholic more than I believe in online sites, but thought I'd post something anyways (it's close enough to be like work, while really not work. I am a physicist by trade and education, and I realized no argument against the rediculous is needed at Catholic, sensible people already, a soothing balm to my being. So while I'm enjoying my socialite God-Parents who've game night with 30+ people. I haven't met any singles and look forward to being matriculated into the fold. I'm 45th in Catholic Trivia here on this site... I know way more than I thought I did.

24, Chattanooga, TNHello world, my name is Anne. Hope this doesn't sound cliche ( it may) but I am blessed to have been raised in the Roman Catholic Church. With so many Saints as members, that had to struggle with sin and moral/ spiritual dilemmas; this gives me hope! With our Blessed Mother and Lord, life is meaningful.. I am an admirer of beauty (art, music, nature, the like), Absolute Truth ( religion and everyday life) , and the constant awe of God. I am Pro-life, and strive to be active by praying/counseling ( if an opportunity arises) outside of Planned Parenthood/ abortion clinics. I enjoy being a teacher to the preschool kids I work with, also to the darling 8 and 9 year olds I teach in Religious Class . Hiking, dancing, attending any classical/ musical concerts I am able, helping plan female parties with/ for my friends, are things I enjoy. I am fond of a good drink, hot tea, hot coffee, Greek/ Italian food, brie cheese, the list can go on! Take care.
