I am a person of diverse interests. I like sports, especially football (for viewing) and soccer (for playing- esp indoor). I enjoy the theater, and I find the opera is especially fun. I plan to start travelling more in the near future, I just need someone fun to travel with. I love to eat, sushi is my favorite, but middle eastern food is also great. There's just something great about foods you can eat with your hands. My job keeps me busy, but I like to invent things when I'm not working. Actually, new ideas come to me all the time, and it's time to make something that really works. In my other spare time I like to write (but not very good..yet), I run a family (bar) business in New Orleans, and I do volunteer work for Muscular Dystrophy. My belief in God is strong, and I love the Catholic church, but I don't always fall in line with all of the teachings of the Church... please don't hold that fact against me. Even inspired people color that inspiration with personal bias, it's unavoidable. I'll be glad to discuss the issues with anyone who is interested. I'm always open minded and interested in learning more about our faith. >
I have been stuck overseas and have had some crumby luck when not overseas. I have put my life on hold for far to long. I've always wanted to have children, and I hope it's not to late. I am pretty smart in a lot of things and.............I'll be filling this out as time permits. Sort of funny, when ever I am not on the Internet I can think of all sorts of things I can put in here.
Thank you for viewing my profile! I live by The Golden Rule on a daily basis and believe in serving God first, family second, and career third. I know how to be a best friend, as well as a supportive, loyal, faithful, and devoted wife and life-long companion. I am an "extroverted introvert." Although I would be considered an independent woman, I prefer the interdependency of marriage. There are so many wonderful graces and blessings in the Sacrament of Marriage. Through my very romantic, thoughtful, and creative nature, I will show how much I love the "Love of My Life." I will move to where ever a holy marriage takes me. I am open to being in a long distance relationship knowing that I am the one that most likely will need to move.
I go to Mass more than once a week and to Adoration when able. I pray the Rosary on a regular basis and believe in praying through the rough times. I love Mass said in any language, especially in English, Latin and Spanish. I believe that the Latin Mass is the most beautiful form of the Mass. Unfortunately, it is not available in my area. I would love to be a mother. It does not matter if being a mother means being a stepmother, a biological mother, grandmother, or the adoptive mother of a child of any age. I am also content with motherhood not being God's Will in our lives.
It is common for gentlemen to be concerned about being compared to a widow's late husband. Although we had a good marriage, my late husband is not on a pedestal. There is no need to compete with him. Although I live in a military area, my late husband was not in the military.
Ive been told I need to update my profile, so I am starting here. I have been separated for 7 years and divorced now for 6. It has been a long and tough journey to this point. Being married for almost 25 years, then the bombshell took its toll. I have buried my father since then, teen age children have become adults, and the babies are now 17,15,15,and 12. I first joined CM to find catholic friends locally but this never really worked out. I have since moved back to Tennessee, and have custody of two of my 4 minor children. Relocation right now is out of the question as they want to attend the local HS, but its possible in the future depending. The first annulment proceeding filed by her were denied. However at the insistence of a CM member who will remain nameless, I have sent paperwork to the Diocese I live in and am looking at filing my own based on facts I chose to ignore. Anyway, I can still be here making friends!!
I am editing my profile to start out that I am a Catholic Charismatic. Important that you know this. I would love to meet someone who worships this way. I guess the only way to find out is to put it out there. So... here it is.
I have just recently relocated to Tennessee from California. This is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen. I love it.
I have two sons and a daughter in law and 4 grandchildren. I am very family oriented.
I am an animal lover. I have a rescued Shetland Sheepdogs and a rescued Collie and I also have 2cats. I retired from a California state job the first of this year. I worked for the Airlines for quite sometime. At 62 yrs old I became a Flight Attendant. I love to fly.I also love to travel. Either by car, ship or plane. I love spending time on my pontoon boat on a lake. I love to fish and love relaxing on the water. That is one of my favorite hobbies and I usually do this with my best friend, my daughter in law. I also like country music. My faith is a big part of my life. I like staying busy but also value relaxation time.I recently started bowling again and having so much fun at it. My son felt I should learn to shoot and talked me into going to our local shooting range. I had never touched a gun before. I found out I love it and to my surprise am pretty good at it. I took the NRA class and got my first certificate. Target shooting might become a favorite hobby.
I would like it if after reading my profile, whether we are a match or not, wish me a happy future. I will do the same in return. It is a blessing when you know folks support you.
I am a Vanderbilt Law student (Class of 2019). I graduated Emory University with a double major in history and political science. I am interested in government and international law. During the summer, I volunteered at the local Legal Aid Society and at the Gallatin Juvenile Court. I like to read, golf, go to movies, sight-seeing, fishing, and I am trying to learn how to cook.
I hate this part, but I'll do my best to dazzle you! To start, my faith defines who I am. It is upmost to me and I have my mother to thank for that. My mother is my greatest inspiration and shared with me (and continues to continues to exemplify) the beauty of a woman's faith in God.
As for hobbies, I love to cook, a glass of good wine with dinner, great friends, travel, walking along the greenway near my house, and watching the sun rise over Priest Lake. I enjoy great conversation and an occasional movie or good book. I belong to a historical group, so visiting museums and historical sites are something I enjoy doing on a weekend. I love sitting under the stars marveling in God's creation, or watching the waves crash on a seashore, reminding me of His majesty. I guess I'm pretty simple.
Friends describe me as intelligent, charming, witty (if not outright funny, which it something that still puzzles me since I don't see myself that way!), and someone who perseveres with adversity.
Over the years, I have come to realize that life is not a fairy tale. However, it is one we can write and create. I would love to have a companion to be part of that story.
First and foremost, I am someone who loves life! I'm happy-go-lucky, optimistic, and friendly. Life is too short to be sad about things that don't matter.
My pleasures are simple: children, horses in green pastures, dancing to swingy music, and ice cream. I cook for my family and friends, which brings me much joy. I am the pivotal child of nine, so that's a lot of family at dinner time!
After my family, the most influential person in my life has been Roy Rogers. The way he worked with children throughout his lifetime has directly impacted my own work with them. He also had an unconquerable spirit which keeps me going when things get tough. We could all stand to be a little more like Roy Rogers.
When I'm not doting on my nieces and nephews, helping out on the family farm, or taking care of my horse Imagineer, you can find me helping out my younger siblings with their schoolwork.
Most important to me are faith, family, and friends. I was raised in a devout catholic family and my faith is very important to me. I enjoy golf, fishing, sports, and the outdoors. I am a very active person.
I'm a single mom divorced born and raised in Nashville TN. I have a lot of family here. I have 2 adorable children I have full custody. My daughter is 6 and my son is 3. Christ is the center of my home. I'm legally blind so I can't drive. Due to being born really early. (4 months early). But that doesn't stop me from getting around. I'm very outgoing I love being around my family and friends. In my spare time I like to crochet, read, watch Netflix:). The most influential person in my life is my Dad he is awesome!!!.. Even though I'm 37 and already have 2 children I would dearly love to have more!!! I love children I love being a stay at home mom.
