53, Jackson, TNI'm an easy going man looking for an easy going woman to share my life and faith with. I know what I believe and why. I value family and have strong friendships. My parents were married 60 years. I'm self aware and know there's always room for improvement. Not to proud to say I'm sorry. Good sense humor so I'm told. I'm a good listener and enjoy a good conversation that makes you think. I value open, honest, clear, communication. I believe honesty is the best policy, even if it hurts a little. I can handle the truth. I believe the glue that holds a relationship together is, shared faith, open honest communication, and trust. Love does involve feelings, but true lasting love is not a feeling, it's something you do.
70, Ridgetop, TNLife is good! I wake up with a smile on my face and a song in my heart. Sprituality and my Faith guide my choices. The Lord has Blessed me in so many ways, I can hardly believe it myself. I have a 17 year old son that I cherish. In addition, I was Blessed to be a part of raising three step children who are now productive young adults. I love them as my own. And although my ex and I have moved on, we retain a friendship by virtue of respect. I enjoy my career, restoring our c.1896 Victorian home, music, entertaining, vintage/classic cars, and technology. I give back to my Church through involvement and my community as a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT. I am an optimist and retain no baggage. My health is excellent and I'm very energetic, sincere and financially stable. Starbuck's Venti-Latte is great, but I'm good with Dunkin'. I know how to dress up and how to dress down. If it's broke, I can fix it. If I'm lost, I'll ask for direction. My primaries are my God, my loved-ones, a few close friends, and my country. My heart is warm and I have a passion for life and all of it's wonders. I have a flair for the romantic. Little things mean so much. I'm a pretty good cook, but not a chef. I'm tidy, but my housekeeping is mediocre. My sense of humor is infectious and my profile picture is current. I'm adventurous, outdoorsy, and active.
33, Nashville, TNOH / TN Cradle Catholic + Work + Travel + Music + Pretzels I have a great career in healthcare software and I travel a lot for work (and play). In my spare time, I'm usually making music or playing sports with friends. Anything else you want to know, shoot me an emotigram or just ask!
66, Chattanooga, TNCherished, loved and honored by God. Being secure in this love helps me to unite my joy and suffering to Jesus in a redemptive way. Surely, the more one is in tune with this, the more perfectly one is able to love, in all the different ways: Agape, Eros, and Filial. My church and prayer group friends are important. My intention is to catch up on all those great spiritual books I have. I love to go to daily Mass when possible; Lunch with friends; Line dance at the Senior Center; and attend dance lessons, ie: Round and Western Square Dance; Contra; some ballroom like simple Swing and Waltz for socialization and exercise. I love a good festival with crafts and music in the spring or fall. Or dress nicely and attend the symphony. Love the ocean & mountains. Haven't been to Europe yet still intend to, but just happy with an old Cary Grant movie, a mocha coffee, my dog and a few friends. Really I have had varied interests. I learned a little canoeing. Love to work in clay and fiber arts. Stopped at a sheep farm once & sheared a sheep. Spun the wool ,Made a scarf for my son. I can draw and paint, & quilt. I have hiked all the Smoky Mtn. trails. enjoyed camping and white water rafting in my earlier days. Each of us has quality people right in our own backyard. we just wonder about that "special someone" don't we? Our hearts are just gonna be restless till we rest in The One who knows & loves us and is with us ALWAYS. He directs our paths, and even introduces us to some special friends along the way. God Bless.
46, Memphis, TNPeople tell me that I'm witty and extremely intelligent. All I know is that I love to laugh and I can be a bit goofy. - sexy goofy. I prefer to get to know my match as a friend first. I'd like to settle down with one person, but I will not settle. I also want friendships first to avoid anyone getting hurt. As far as intelligence goes, I know what I know and that's about it! I have a thirst for knowledge, especially medicine. This is probably due to the fact that my father was a pioneer in the field of radiology. As an M.D. He brought the first MRI machine and the first CAT scan to the entire mid-south, against the support and the belief of his fellows and the hospital. Sometimes I feel as though I missed my calling. I'm an advocate for alternative medicine and natural healing. I started a non-profit recently, of which I am the president, called the Chronic Refief Fund. You can find it, and thus myself, on Facebook, as I do not have a full membership yet. My greatest flaw is also my greatest asset; I care too much about people. My passions are horses and songwriting. I have a BA in communications with a focus in theater. I prefer to meet someone with a college degree or, at least, some one who attempted college. It's a useless but fun degree. I am excited about being a vegan but I believe to each his own. Because I care about my physique and keep myself in shape, I'm looking to find a partner who is also in shape. - not overweight. Although I love some aspects if Catholicism; (I am currently in the middle of a Rosary Novena, as I LOVE our blessed mother. I also enjoy worship in mass but I am not a regular.) Because of my insatiable need for Truth, I have become more of an esoteric student of all religions, including Roman Catholicism. I find it much more fascinating. Even though I live in Memphis, I'd much rather live somewhere else. I prefer to settle down in a warmer climate, such a San Diego, or South Florida, or even Austin Texas, one day, or at least become a snow bird. I also consider myself a bit refined, (when I want to be), and reasonably well traveled. My 17 year old dog is my only child and he goes everywhere with me. I hope we all find our special someones. That's it for now. Happy trolling!
41, Nashville, TNMy name is Amy and I live in Nashville, TN. I'm originally from Minnesota. I am mom to the three best kids on the planet. I love music and sing semi-professionally. I also work in insurance. Right now I'm looking for that balance between work play activity and rest. I just completed my 7th half marathon this year and hope to be able to continue to do them on my journey for better health. My Catholic faith has been the constant throughout my life, especially when I have been faced with some tough circumstances. Thankfully through God's forgiveness, I can strive to be the best me I can be. I love singing, reading, going out and having a good time, spending time with my family and friends, and will try new things at least once. I am definitely a work in progress, but aren't we all in some way? Anyway, if you would like to get to know more about me, I would love to hear from you!
28, Memphis, TNI'm a convert and, it is nice to be home. I'm passionate about literature, and politics and I absolutely thrive on a good debate. While I'm very close to my family, the men who came into my life, through scouting and school had the most impact on my formation as a man. While I enjoy camping and being outdoors, I also have no problem staying in and cooking dinner or zoning out with a good book and Netflix
63, Columbia, TNHello- and thanks for viewing my profile:) I am very blest. I treasure time with my family, my church, music, the outdoors, and my pets. People would say I'm a calm, and easy going person. I like to think I'm attentive, thoughtful, sincere, honest, trustworthy, and curious. I have been widowed 3 years, was married 37. I have so much in my life to be grateful for, and to look forward to; I feel I have much to offer. I am a happy person; I would like to find someone to share interests with. I enjoy staying busy, as well as relaxing in the quiet spaces. I enjoy my home, garden, and I enjoy outdoor activities. I love a good cup of coffee and conversation, and I love to go to concerts to hear a variety of music. I'm not really a big city person. I hope to meet someone to share my faith, and interests, and to experience new things; a companion to develop a friendship, over time. I really just enjoy getting to know people. I love my family. I spend a lot of my time with my grandchildren, and my church family. Leisure time is spent outside caring for my yard, pond, and flower beds, and listening to music. I like to watch football. And I have 3 cats. The most influential people have been my parents, and the many people I have cared for as a nurse.
33, Knoxville, TNI am from a large homogeneous, conservative, southern, Catholic family that has deltaed into a variety of individual personal expressions- including both very religious and overtly modern views. I came out somewhere in the middle. I hike, I snorkel, I run, I ski. Sports have always been a keystone to my life. I love living. I believe in being over having and that translates into being there for others rather than having all the answers. I have many goals and ambitions in life. I would love to have my highest purpose the happiness and dreams of someone else. I am the most normal man I know. I deem myself a considerate, patient and even-keeled individual. I make more than 7 mistakes a day and try to learn from them. That is, more or less, me!
48, Loretto, TNI am an outgoing single mother who loves to laugh. I am looking to begin dating after being divorced for 3 years. I teach language arts in fifth grade. I always wanted to be a teacher to impact the future. My daughter is the most important thing in my life. She has begun college. I am very close to my family. I live to read, dance, and listen to music. I enjoy Broadway shows, movies, some television. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My friends describe me as fun and the life of the party. I'm not easily offended and try to stay in a positive state of mind. I care much more about personality than looks.
26, Elizabethton, TNI'm a convert from Lutheranism, but have loved the Catholic Church since I was a child. In particular, I loved the rosary. I now pray it every day, and draw great comfort from "Mary's psalter." The biggest "watershed moment," when I couldn't ignore the calls of the Church any longer, was when I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Hungary. There, I visited St. Istvan's Basilica, in Budapest, and saw the relic of his right hand. Something cracked open in my heart, and I could only adore the holiness of Christ that dwelled in St. Stephen of Hungary. When relaxing after a long day at work being a housekeeper at a hospital, I listen to music on Spotify - my favorite artists, other than hymns, chant/Mass settings, or classical music, are Skillet, Matt Maher, Breaking Benjamin, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, Nightwish, and Nox Arcana. I also work on writing stories - I'm an aspiring author and would like to be published someday. When I want to watch TV, I usually watch Daredevil or The Crown. However, I prefer movies - my all - time favorites are: Ben - Hur; Now, Voyager; Crimson Peak; just about any Vincent Price movie; and Fury.
27, Oak Ridge, TNHi, my name is Sam. I am not the most social person, kind of shy when it comes to meeting new people. I went to college at Tennessee and have lived in the East Tennessee area most of my life. I find that it really is the simple things in life that can be the best. Going to the movies or grabbing a drink with friends can be just as much fun as a day at the lake. I love watching and participating in sports, especially when it comes to the Tennessee Vols. Family is very important to me and that really had a huge impact on my faith growing up. I can be humorous, but also serious when the situation warrants it. A relationship with someone who can help me grow stronger in my faith and vice-versa would be ideal.
