Quiet, but once I get to know people I love to laugh and kid around with them. I am conservative and financially responsible. I have two grown sons that I am very proud of.I have a dog who loves chasing frisbees and one that is a couch potato. I like to travel, read, paint, and putter around the yard. I'm retired from teaching and am looking forward to having more days to pursue the things I love. A very interesting thing I have recently discovered is that I actually enjoy working out - never thought I would say that!

I've never been married in the church. I had an early "marriage mistake" that lasted about a year and then met and married for what I expected to be for a lifetime. It ended after 12 yrs. I only make this known because it seems to be of great importance at some time in any relationship and I didn't want it to shock anyone. I would have skipped this section if it would have allowed because I have no idea what would be of interest to folks and it's probably different for everyone who comes to this site.

I am interested in meeting individuals(friendship or more) who share some of my interests. I am a little shy at first but easily open up when I get to know the individual. I love the outdoors (hiking, backpacking, cycling, kayaking etc) I workout daily as I train and compete in triathlons during the spring and summer months. Would love to meet other guys who share in the Catholic faith. Hope to hear from you.

Hello. I am a licensed practical nurse (LPN), previously a State Certified Nurse Aid since late 2004. I went to Maryville High School, Class of 2004, and I have an Associate's Degree of Science(Biology and Pre-Nursing). I am currently enrolled in an RN Bridge program to earn my AASN and begin my BSN next summer. I plan to have also completed my MSN-DNP in the next 5 years and specialize in Neonatology as a Nurse Practitioner. I have two younger sisters, 3yrs & 14yrs younger. I love to read and music is such a huge part of my life! I'll listen to almost any kind; I have very eclectic taste. I am also a big fan of Classical and Latin choir ensembles. (It worked out great that I love Latin Rite Mass music since I have been singing them since before I became Catholic.) I love to laugh and be surrounded by my close friends. I have to dance everyday, its just awesome. I have 3 small Chihuahuas and love them like children. I teach 1st Grade CCD and sing in the choir at my parish. My Godson, who was born in July 2004, was Baptized at our parish when he was 6. I have raised him in many capacities for the majority of his life due to his mother struggling with substance abuse. He is an honor student, plays youth football, and loves being part of our church. I am so proud of him and it is wonderful to see him learning about Jesus and loving our Faith. He calls me "Aunt" Sarah and he is a major part of my life, often saying that I'm like another mom to him. I work hard to help him with whatever he needs and shield him from his mother's lifestyle. Needless to say, it can be a complicated mess, but God is working in and around our lives everyday. I was fully received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass 2009. I love being a Catholic! Everything I knew as a Protestant Christian was broadened and I am still learning about myself and my Faith everyday. I have such a deeper, fuller understanding of what God wants for me in my life. Becoming a Catholic has transcended everything I believe and brought it to a whole new level. God is Great all of the time! Even when I feel like everything is falling apart, I know He is there to walk me through it. Everything is for a reason and when life has setbacks, I know that God will use them as a lesson to grow from. I know I am tremendously Blessed, and I try to always be thankful for the many gifts I have, everyday!! If there's anything else you want to know about me just ask!

I am an outgoing, happy person. I love the water, the ocean and to be outdoors. Travel is wonderful, but if its with the right person, fantastic. I am just looking for the right person, who is honest, happy, and ready for a relationship, worth working and investing in eachother and with similar values and ideals.

I'm most passionate about my spirituality, my animals, and nature. My favorite place to be is as close to the ocean as possible. I love everything about the beach, the fresh salt air, listening to the sounds of the ocean, and watching the tides going in and out, is so awesome it soothes the soul. My mother and my daughter have been most influential in my personal life. The most influential person in my choice of career was one of my advisers in college, a very special person that I will always remember . To me the most important things in choosing a career is being in a position to make a positive difference in the lives of others. In my leisure time I like to travel, enjoy the symphony, theater, reading non fiction, dining out, picnics, cooking out, eating seafood , day trips, concerts, quiet time at home, a glass of wine, good conversation, and a variety of other things.

My faith consumes me! I love being Catholic, and I am very blessed to be part of a small but rapidly growing diocese in Knoxville, TN! I am passionate about being an authentic, Catholic man and strive to get closer to that goal everyday. St. Joseph is my role model and I ask for his intercession daily. I am an old fashioned romantic who strives to keep chivalry alive, enjoys the theatre, and loves to get dressed up (bow tie included!). I love the outdoors! Hiking, camping, kayaking, backpacking, you name it! I love a good adventure and love seeing God's majesty and creation. I feel refreshed and relaxed after a good weekend in the wilderness. I also love woodworking and have hopes and dreams of having a side business in it one day. I also love bringing joy to others. I am laid back and love to crack jokes with friends and family. I have a witty and sarcastic sense of humor. I am very fortunate to have a great group of friends and a loving mother, who have been integral in my growth and journey closer to Christ.

I am your everyday guy. I hate filling these things out, because I am horrible at describing myself. I am an introvert, a geek/nerd, a carpenter. My profession is as a truck driver, gone 2-3 nights in a row. Anything you want to know, just ask, I will answer.

It's probably best to start with: I'm a convert! I recently received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist on October 8th! I absolutely love the Church, and I finally feel that I'm home. I'm currently pursuing a PhD in philosophy.

I grew up in a small rural farming community in Wisconsin. I am the oldest of 5 sons, my mother and father are still well and happily married. I have two really great children, a son and a daughter, and one granddaughter. I grew up where hard work and close family ties are a way of life. My grandparents taught me a lot about everything from family, honor, integrity, subsistence living and enjoying life. My earliest memories of visiting my grandparents were working in a very large garden, a house with no running water and little heat. I loved visiting them. I am honest, trustworthy, hardworking, faithful and forever an optimist. I have many skills and interests. I really enjoy being outdoors, camping, hiking, traveling, beaches, dining out, doing adventurous vacations. My occupation is a computer programmer, but I have done many building projects, new houses, remodeling, roofing, siding, new additions, decks, tree removal , landscaping etc I visit the gym often and volunteer many hours to church related activities. I have many other interests like gardening, cooking, board games, puzzles etc. I can even crochet. I am really good with children and for most of my kids life I have been the single parent. Mr. Mom and dad. As my son was growing up I volunteered as an assistant baseball coach for his team. What I really enjoy most is spending time, (holding hands, snuggling, cuddling up to watch a movie) with that special someone which I am missing in my life right now.
