60, Houston, TXHello! Thanks for stopping to visit. I hope your search brings you friendship, joy, and true love, of course! I'm confident those same blessings will come to me. We live in a beautiful world filled with possibilities. So, here's my story. I'm a teacher at a wonderful school, have been divorced for many years, and have three grown children. (Well, my 19-year-old might not be considered completely grown, but he is independent!) I have two lovely step-daughters with whom I'm very close, and four grandchildren! (Two in Australia and two right next door, including a sweet newborn baby girl). I was born and raised in a Catholic family, but it wasn't until I started teaching religious education that I began to appreciate and deeply love my religion. The more I learn about the Catholic church, the richer and more meaningful my entire life becomes. I am very involved in my parish, and I don't know what I would do without my Catholic faith. I also love being outdoors, whether it's camping, biking, gardening or just watching the river flow. I love music and singing, and my favorite times have been sharing music with friends. I deeply love the little East Texas town of Nacogdoches, but I love the rest of Texas too. I am also connected to the mountains of New Mexico and the Cajun country of Louisiana including New Orleans. I also love my Irish heritage - the songs and stories, the history and the people. I've never been there, but is the one place I really want to see in the world. I care deeply about the world and its people. I'm politically liberal, but I see many sides of most issues and disagree often with many of my liberal friends. It makes for interesting conversations! As with any life, there is so much more. I would love to hear about your life, too, and tell you more of my stories.
