I am a cradle Cathoic from Montana. I am not looking for a relationship yet. I have been divorced for over twenty years. I am still working on an annulment. I am looking for a companion for dinner, a movie, play, concert or museum trips. I am involved in Church and sometimes go to the Tridentine Mass - which I used to serve as an altar boy. My youngest son calls it "old school" Mass. I still say grace before meals and bow my head at the Holy Name of Jesus. My two sons are grown. However they know that I am there for them. My youngest son got married about three years ago and I really like his wife. They had my first grandchild. He is so cute! They moved in with me last year. I am a single father and I think that, with God's help, I have done a good job in raising them. I am proud of both of them. They have good jobs and are doing well. However they both have left the Church. So I am in "St Monica" mode and praying them back in! In March of 2015 I will become a first time grandparent. I am really looking forward to that. And I will admit to wearing my heart of my sleeve.I love to cook. I am funny and fun to be with. I like to make puns which my youngest son called "dad jokes." I have been involved in the Church. At St Thomas Aquinas Parish in Sugarland I worked with the RCIA for three years as a sponsor and teacher. I was appointed as facilitator for the next three years . After moving to Round Rock I have been involved in the RCIA as a sponsor at St William parish. I belonged to the 9:30 choir for nine years at St Elizabeth of Hungary in Pflugerville. I was a guitar player and the "choir dad." I belong the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) at St John Vianney parish in Round Rock and serve as an Usher there at the 8:00 Sunday Mass. Since I have retired I am now more involved with my Church. I attend daily Mass. I am a Sidewalk Counselor for 40 Days for Life and a substitute RE teacher in my parish. I am trying to make good use of the gifts that God has given me. As a Knight I am involved with the Lenten Fish Fry and our annual Vianney Fest every fall. After all, we are our Pastor's right arm. I had planned to sell my house in a year or two, however I just found out that I will be a first-time grandfather in March of 2015. I was going to move back to MY Montana but I will stay here for several more years to do the grandfather thing: spoiling the child and then giving it back to his parents!

Having had a full and active career, I now live a somewhat quiet life taking care of my home and my elderly Father. After 20 yrs in the USN, I became a stay at home mom and raised my daughter. She is now happily married and doing great. In 2006, I relocated to Texas.. My interests include, gardening, horse back riding, knitting, reading( too much at times), listening to good music with friends and of course spending time with my family and friends. I am interested in meeting someone to spend time with and share a few laughs.

Please note that I am NOT interested in distance relationships.........not looking for correspondence / pen pal relationship. Important that you are 15 to 20 miles of 78727 zip code, I say that not to be harsh but I've received correspondence from all over the world on another site. Have had a good Catholic upbringing and brought up to be a gentleman turned out to be a gentle-man. I long to have a mate to share my faith, my love and my life. I attend Mass weekly at St. Williams in Round Rock. New here so there is more to come.

My morning coffee entrances me with it's rich smell and pulls me out of bed... I've cultivated a morning routine that pulls me into action: Coffee. Prayer. Yoga. Then off to work. Healing people physically is my profession. I'm a Pharmacist by trade. I've discovered that I'm not just dispensing the right medicine. I get to meet a lot of people in my profession and I get to connect and dispense love and compassion. People are truly my passion but it definitely wasn't always that way. Communication is at the core of who I am. I strive for open communication where nothing is left "off of the table". Here's are the two most OCD thing I'm willing to admit... 1.I don't like extra hangers in my closet. 2. I cut off the extra plastic when I go through a loaf of bread. I love to run because I love to eat. Gotta keep my girlish figure. Running is my anti-depressant. If you couldn't tell already, I'm a soulful person. I get lost in playing guitar it's my live in girlfriend for now... I'll wake up from my jam session trance 3 hours later and wonder where the time has gone. My guilty pleasure is Kreuz Market. They have the best BBQ in the world. Oh yeah! That's a bold statement, I know. You: I'm not just after beauty. I want a woman who is authentic and has her life together, too. I'm not 20 anymore, even though I feel that way most of the time. I promise to bring the same to the table.

I am a positive active person. I enjoy friends and family. I have been single for many years and would like to find someone to share life with. I have an outgoing personality. I enjoy community organizations and volunteer for several events. I would say that I have lead a successful life - with a few road blocks we all experience! But my glass is always have full. I enjoy staying fit, travel - short weekenders, and with the right partner, more extended travel. Dining in dining out - relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine and conversation or just watching the sunset. I love to play golf even though I stink at the game.
