I love being Catholic and living out my Catholic Christian faith is extremely important to me. I daily want to seek God's will for my life. I am the oldest of ten children, five girls and five boys! I am very family oriented and LOVE being part of a big family! I am especially close to my mom and my four sisters and enjoy spending time with them. I am an avid runner and have completed my fifteen marathons. I recently started hiking, and I really love it. I am very involved in the school where I teach and enjoy staying active. I love pretty much anything outdoors.

I feel blessed to be an old fashioned, conservative, feminine Catholic woman who is seeking my modern day St Joseph. I feel peaceful serenity from my belief that sacramental marriage between husband and wife is a covenant founded upon faith and love of God. Most of all I feel content by trusting in God's will and plan for my life. My goal is to raise a devout Catholic family to serve and love God above all else. I have enjoyed great academic and professional successes yet I know that these will pale in comparison to the sacrament of marriage, the birth of more children and hopefully spending eternity in heaven. I enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life, and long to share all of these with my future husband along with the prayers, works, joys and sufferings of each day. My 11 year old son is one of the greatest joys of my life! Before he was born I chose the name Teddy which means gift of God. Together we enjoy innumerable simple childhood adventures: constructing complex Legos, learning to play golf, riding bikes, attending picnic concerts in the park as well as symphonies and plays, grilling and boiling crawfish in the backyard, traveling to New Orleans, learning Latin in the context of classical education homeschooling, dining in dark jazzy restaurants, floating down a lazy river, cheering at Medieval Times tournaments, cheering on Jordan Spieth and so many more. We have been immensely blessed for which I feel eternally grateful. My personality is a bit complex, with a mixture of seriousness and introspection, coupled with a fun loving sincerity and playfulness. I can get lost for hours in a good book, or heated political debate, especially when sipping a glass of wine. I am a perpetual student, currently studying herbal/holistic medicine to complement my training in traditional medicine, as well as the true history of America (the one I never learned in PC schools). I have always been a city girl yet find myself longing for a simpler way of life and perhaps envision a small out of the way country homestead/farm one day. The outdoors simply sings to my soul, more with each passing day...the colors, details and scents of nature are divinely majestic! I love to squint my eyes while looking at cascading water droplets prismed into glittering gems by brilliant rays of sun. Simple pleasures abound, and despite a very busy life, I have learned to stop and enjoy the "roses" surrounding us everywhere.

I want every day to be a wild adventure. I find that I have a very restless heart, but I think we all do if we get to the root of our desires. "The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for." (CCC 27). I am passionate about truth and beauty, discovering new cultures, feeding my soul, and being filled with wonder. I am an extroverted introvert, an athlete, a world traveler, book lover, and beer/wine connoisseur. I believe in staying active, eating healthy, and loving passionately. I am both sarcastic and sincere. I deeply cherish my relationships with friends and family and have a great love of music. I play guitar, write both deep and goofy songs, and lead the occasional praise and worship session. I am striving for sainthood each and every day as I fail miserably in emulating the Blessed Mother and I am a champion for bringing back authentic femininity. We all desire to be known and loved, so that is why I am here, just trying to open myself to the will of God and all of the incredible plans He has for me and my life. Maybe you are supposed to be a part of it

I am what one would consider a strange mix of personalities, a little nerdy, a bit of a geek, jock, outdoorsy, bookish, and business minded. I am fairly shy and slow to warm up, but once i get comfortable my sense of humor starts and laughs begin. For an example of my quirky humour, if you get these references you have a good idea. "tis only a flesh wound"..."....we're men...we're men in tights..." I am a somewhat recent refugee from southern CA and am at a place in my life trying to get a career rolling, meet someone, and begin moving forward with God's plan for me. I am looking to meet people and try to find God's match for me since trolling bars and such is not what I consider enjoyable. As mentioned I have a number of hobbies I enjoy. I hunt and camp, love gaming, sailing, as well as building and painting small collectibles, high school and college football, enjoy art, history, and cooking good food for people who enjoy it as well. Got a favorite book or genre, want to try something new, I love it. I could find fun in going out to a show, movie, or meal with friends or just sit at home under the stars with a good book and soft music or sitting round the table having a deep discussion with friends. I tend to be a bit of a thinker and a major bookworm.

I am passionate about life and the opportunities and blessings it holds. I love my family and my work. I have to say that in addition to my mother, my Catholic grade school teachers- lay teachers and nuns- were the most influential people in my life. I am also currently inspired by several of my friends that truly embody Christian witness in every day life. Msgr. Thomas Weinzapfel, pastor of St. Pius for 40 years, was also a good friend and constant inspiration. For leisure time, I enjoy traveling, visiting new places, reading, music and socializing with friends.

Hey there, I'm Anna. Here is a little about me: Fall and winter are my favorite seasons; I love being cold! I am up at 3:30 every morning and go all day. Living the life of a pastry chef is tricky, but completely worth it! I am shy at first, but once you get to know me I am completely different. However, I am not shy when it comes to singing at the top of my lungs in the car with the windows down! Also, I'm a big woman - this is who I am and I love myself for it. If you have read this far and want to message me, mention something totally random...I like fun facts!
  • Kendra, 30 from Irving, TX

I am from St. Louis, MO, and came down here to Dallas for college back in 2005. Much to my parent's dismay, I decided to major in the ever practical field of History. After a stint back in STL, I made my way back here to Dallas. Saying I like doing "normal" things probably isn't too descriptive but this includes going out with friends, Cardinals games (when I am home), decorating my new apartment, volunteering, seeing movies, spoiling my niece and nephew, figuring out how to make the Mongol invasion interesting to 15 year olds, browsing blogs for future failed DIY projects, reading lots of nerdy non-fiction, wine/porch nights, going to brunch, and quality time with Netflix of course. I'm just looking for someone who enjoys some of the above and can have fun and keep his sense of humor whether he be surrounded by friends at a bar or attending an awkward work function.

I enjoy going out to dinner and outdoor events as well as sporting events. I try to stay busy in everyday life, but do like down time at home. I go to Mass on Sundays and give the Eucharist to the dying and disabled in the congregation. I'm enrolled in college and work in commercial building maintenance. I'm looking for the right lady to marry and spend the rest of my life with.

Not much to tell about me! First, I am Scottish...and of this I am fiercely proud! I wear a kilt with pride, and listen to any Celtic music I can get my hands on. I am also obsessed with horses. Like obsessed. I learned how to ride from a very early age, and have worked on multiple ranches ever since. I love riding, and I love working cows with a passion. I am also very old fashioned. I love anything antique, and my truck (an old '60s ford pickup) shows it! I also love black powder weapons, and spend a lot of my free time practicing trick shots with my old single action revolver.

  • Austen, 19 from Greenville, TX

My name is Austen, and I am a 19 year-old Texan Catholic. To me, being part of this online community means discerning my vocation seriously, and I pray that God will lead you and I to where we both need to be! To start, I see myself as a sort of blank slate when it comes to things like relationships. I have never dated before, so I suppose that means that I don't have emotional baggage from other relationships to throw at people at random intervals. Still, I'm new to this, so I hope you don't mind if I carry around a list of questions and maybe a teleprompter should we meet some time. Just kidding. Teleprompters are expensive. In any case, I should let you know beforehand that I consider myself a history and political nerd. I love reading books, although I'm a slow reader. I especially love reading about the founding and frontier generations of the United States, the history of the State of Texas, and the industrial revolution era ruled by individuals like Rockefeller and Carnegie. Politically speaking, I am a Conservative Libertarian firmly in the Ron Paul camp. I could talk your ears off about the inefficiencies of the levels of government as they currently stand, and I love to hear about Free market solutions to hard problems. To put it simply, I believe the proper role of government is to protect life, liberty and property without infringing on those same rights as much as possible. My biggest heroes in life are my God, my father, and my priest. God is always there for me during both the great and sorrowful times of my life. My belief in Him is something gained through personal struggles, and I hope to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. My Dad has always had my back, and has always been ready and willing to listen and to guide me. My priest is very outspoken about the Catholic faith, including those parts in our Traditions that are controversial. He is incredibly Pro-Life and Pro-Family, and he always performs Mass in a reverent and fitting way. Apart from reading, I also love listening to music (Lindsey Stirling is awesome), learning from podcasts, playing a video game or two, writing, and taking quiet walks whenever I have time. Thank you so much for reading though all of this and God Bless! Austen
