53, Garland, TXI moved around a lot when I was growing up because my Father was in the Air Force. I served nine years in the Navy and lived in Florida, Hawaii and California (all the sunny places! :) I have two younger married sisters and seven nieces and nephews. I have worked for the U.S. District Court for ten years. My friends would describe me as affectionate, intelligent, creative, inquisitive, curious, faithful, honest, empathetic, calm, positive and funny. One of my very favorite things to do is to invite a group of friends over and make dinner for them. Sharing food and conversation with interesting people just can't be beat! I am active with several singles groups in the Dallas area and have met many wonderful friends. I am a tenor in the contemporary choir at St. Rita church and another choir at St. Joseph's Church. I enjoy volunteering for several events each year. I think it is very important to maintain a balance between work and time spent with family and friends. One of the best things a man can be is to be a devoted and caring husband and father. I want to marry the right person and for both of us to become closer to God and to each other. Divorce is not an option; if God is number one in our relationship, our marriage will be built on rock and not sand. Let's help each other get to heaven and bring our family along with us!
30, Grand Prairie, TXI am heading into my 8th year of teaching and I still love my job. For me, it is what God has called me to do right now for my work vocation. I own my house (or, paying a mortgage), which still sometimes feels very surreal. I'm incredibly blessed in so many things, from my family and friends, to owning a house, to loving what I do every day. I also now have two dogs, whom I love very much, named Gandalf and Pippin. I went to the University of Dallas and have my BA in History, a minor in Medieval and Renaissance studies and my teaching certification. Teaching is my work vocation at the moment (it could change!) and God shows Himself to me in the students every day - and in challenging them to think - they challenge me right back. I also lead a young adult group at my church - we meet for a potluck dinner and bok discussion once a week. I love to read and learn. I like to daydream and to take photos, both mental and real. I'd rather have more time than money. I love to cook and bake, and have an odd enjoyment of cleaning/organizing other peoples stuff. I lector, sing in the St. Cecilia Choir at my church, and volunteer when I can. I enjoy watching sports and love to watch movies, playing board games and card games, and I love a good discussion. I love being with my friends and with my family- my family is pretty up there! I also have a list of 5 important things: 1) God - I believe fully in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three in One, and I wouldn't be who I am today without Him. 2) Love (platonic or otherwise) - Love is God, God is love, and from Him all forms of love, from love of a family to love of a friend. 3) Family - My family is one of the most important parts of my life. My mother and father, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles and cousins, my brother have always been there for me. They are incredibly important to me and shaped who I am. I try to talk to my parents once every week. 4) Friends - My friends (both current and past, because things do change) have helped form who I am. I value my close friendships highly. 5) Books - I love to read. I have also realized that I love reading old National Geographics. Plus, I love to keep learning!
57, Dallas, TXI am an active lady who loves living every day to the fullest. I am financially, politically, and morally conservative and think variety is the spice of life. I take care of myself by exercising regularly, taking vitamins, eating three meals a day, going on vacation, and spending time with friends and family. I'm an adventurer, not really an outdoor adventurer, but an all around the city adventurer. I like to go to all kinds of new places in the Dallas area as well as travel to cities all over. I've vacationed in Italy, Spain, France, China, El Salvador, Mexico, and Canada. I've also taken pilgrimages to Medjugorje and love to talk about it! With friends and family, I also enjoy stay-at-home stuff like board games, movies, cooking, decorating, dreaming, and reminiscing. My daughter recently graduated from SMU Law School and my son from University of North Texas. They are both married and live in Dallas................My ex died in 2011 so I am also a widow.
33, Sherman, TXAre you looking for someone who can wrestle alligators with their teeth, stop a train with a single stare, or grow a fine tomato in this Texas heat.... well look further because that isn't me. However if you are in search of a partner in crime that can enjoy the simple pleasures in life whether that be a cranked up radio on a dirt road or a mean game of dominoes. Oh, and don't even think of challenging me to connect four. You will not win. I can make awesome bacon and eggs with a side of salsa.
41, Garland, TXHello my name is Andrew. I'm from a Catholic family where I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I'm #5. I have experienced a lot of down falls but then again a lot of help. It may have been someone who just stopped to ask a question or a song i happen to listen to that had been influential. My leisure time is mostly spent with my daughter, helping her have fun and learn new things. When she is with her mom my leisure time is crafts or patio gardening.
31, Kerens, TXChivalry is not dead and through God all things are possible. I've always been Catholic, but was not always the best at following the teachings. I believe things happen for a reason and now, closer to my faith than ever before and the happiest I have ever been. I have a son who is my pride and joy. He's my everything(and yes I am a single father). I don't judge because that is up to God. I have ALWAYS found myself on the short end of the stick in relationships, so right now I guess I am just looking to start fresh and find someone who truly appreciates me and will honor me as I honor them.
