I think that the way a person treats small children and animals, is a window into their soul. I enjoy scuba diving, biking, kayaking, fishing, reading, cooking, genealogy, history, politics, and current events. I travel when I can. I have been to FL (Key West), PA, NC, SC (Charleston), D.C., CO, Wyoming, Cozumel, and Juarez, MX. Looking forward to seeing Alaska, Bahamas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Rome (and maybe southern CA). I was born in FL, grew up in NC, and my parents were from PA. So from time to time, I travel back to those areas. About the Temperament Test; I generally agree with most of it, but I am more serious and frugal than it implies. I am financially responsible.

I am a very hard working dedicated person and I live life to it's fullest. I laugh often and am very optimistic. I currently work at a school district in the field of education technology. In my free time I play/watch/coach anything baseball; huge Yankees fan. Love being outdoors, just not as much fun going at it alone. I always try to keep busy doing something, and as an added incentive... I LOVE to cook. I enjoy helping my friends more than anything else. I would put everything I'm doing on hold if someone I know needed help with anything at all. I love to travel (the Caribbean being my favorite) which is good since most of my family lives there. I visit them as often as possible, at least once a year. I am incredibly honest and trustworthy. I would expect my match to have the same qualities. This is extremely important. I have a great, maybe sarcastic, sense of humor, somewhat along the lines of the Simpsons and Seinfeld. If you think we're on the same page, drop me an email. PS - I'm deathly allergic to cats!

I am originally from Mexico and I am proud of my heritage. I have been blessed to have lived in 4 different countries -- the longest time was in Scotland for 16 years, where my two children were raised. Being bilingual has been invaluable in my life. I am working full time and enjoy my job tremendously. I am a translator and interpret for families who don't speak English. I would love to meet someone who is ready for a relationship. For me, the one with whom I can share my innermost feelings, the one that I will grow old(er) with, that we will both be accepting of each others' shortcomings, the one that I can laugh and be silly with and still feel secure and safe. Cook delicious dinners together listening to music we both enjoy, share moments with a glass of wine, a cuppa tea or some aromatic coffee. Base a relationship on prayer, respect, love, care, concern, humor, trust, affection, physical spark. Let's chat a few times, decide whether or not to continue and see where this takes us. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I have a good sense of humor. I like to hang out with my friends and family. I enjoy reading books or watching television while drinking a cup of coffee. I love drinking coffee. I like to go to church events and being involved in the church community. I go to church every Sunday and receive the body and blood of Christ and I like to spend time with my Savior and my Lord. My faith is important to me, and without it, I don't know who I am. I went through a hard life experience, and I was able to rely on God to help me through it. I am attending Midwestern State to become and education major.

I'm free to marry in the Catholic Church, and I hope to do so someday. I'm not a cradle Catholic, but I will remain Catholic for life. Some of the most amazing people I know are Catholic. I strive to be awesome too. I am a teacher and I love it. I teach Catechism and high school social studies. I am a single mom. I have one child. My son has been praying for God to give him a father for years. My marriage did not need an annulment; it was never seen as valid by the church. I enjoy reading and I am slowly writing a book. I don't know if it will ever get finished or published, but I'm working on it. I don't have much family, but I have a few very close friends. I'm from Connecticut. I have a strong appreciation for the services of others. I hold a high regard for soldiers, officers, detectives, EMTs and other community heroes. I appreciate the martial arts. I really like scifi. I'm a firm believer that although hobbies and interests can bring people closer together, it is personality and common faith in Christ that will hold people together. If you are interested please contact me. I am waiting.

I enjoy traveling and photography as well as spending time with family and friends. I like being outdoors and recently got interested in hiking. In my free time, I like to cook and bake as well as doing crafty things. Most influential people in my life would have to be my grandmother, my mom, and my high school art teacher. Three amazing women who have taught me to love my Catholic faith and have and appreciate daily blessings. I also enjoy reading books and watching movies.

The one thing I've always wanted is to have a family and be a great father. Many of the men in my family were/are Fort Worth Police Officers and I'm proud to be carrying on the tradition.

Hi. I am fairly new to Texas, been here almost 2 years now, coming from Ohio. I was tired of the cold and not having any family left in the area. So my best friend suggested coming here to be nearby and here I am. I am now completely retired. Spent 30 years in the automotive industry and retired as a tool & die maker in 2001. Since that time I have worked for the Lutheran Church. In one church I was a secretary, in a second church I was the office manager and bookkeeper. In a co-op of 4 churches I was the secretary and bookkeeper. All of these were done at the same time, all part time. When I came to Texas I took a job as a pbx operator but after 6 months I decided it was time to retire for good, leaving things to the younger set. Now it is my time to find someone to spend my golden years with. I enjoy many types of activities. One that I really enjoy, but am not that great at is golf. I am currently taking some lessons to get back into the swing of it since I haven't been on the golf course since I came to Texas. I am taking life a little easier and enjoy many quieter things like antiquing, spending time with friends, cooking out, day trips, enjoying the companionship of that special someone by sitting on the patio and enjoying a beveridge and conversation. Would like to do some exploration of the nearby surroundings since there are so many things to see and do in the area. And I would really like to have someone to share my faith with, attend church and activities with.
