PLEASE PRAY FOR EMERGENCY WORKERS, AND FOR ALL THOSE DISPLACED BY DISASTERS!! I consider myself a modern gentleman that enjoys hanging out with my friends. My family is very close and important to me, though I miss them terribly living halfway across the country. Faith plays an central part in my life, and try to attend Mass more than once a week. I tend to follow the old military saying "God, Family, Country, Corps". I have a strong sense of duty to serve others, and this calling I have responded to in many ways: I help young kids develop in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program, I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, and finally I work and volunteer for my local Red Cross. I now work as a Disaster Program Manager at a local chapter. On a slightly different note, I would like to mention I enjoy singing a great deal. Not a day goes by when I don't get a song stuck in my head. I am a strong baritone and I am not afraid to sing at Mass. I've even been dabbling in some Latin Schola of late. Believe it or not, I can even dance pretty well, from Swing to Salsa. I have had a dearth of partners lately and would love to meet new people to dance with. As for my character itself, I am the first to admit that I have flaws, but what is life but a joyous struggle to deal with these flaws and become more Christ-Like. I believe that secularization of "love" is one of the biggest challenges we face as Catholics today. To better prepare ourselves, we need to read and study Theology of the Body by Pope JPII. Christopher West does an awesome presentation on this for anyone who is interested, just google it. Studying and understanding our faith is incredibly important as that is the only way we are going to move people past a superficial view of it. Once they learn how deep and engaging it is, they can't help but be drawn to it.OK, enough rambling from me. If youre interested in more info, just ask.

My faith and my family are very important to me coming from an Italian background with a Catholic faith. I am the youngest of four children, two brothers and one sister. I have two children and one grandson. I am a quiet person till I get to know you. I am a trusting, honest, big hearted person, very easy going. I like almost anything outdoors except swimming ( I never learned how ) walking trails, shopping, junking, traveling, working out, fixing and building, wood working also like quiet times like watching the sun rise or set, sitting by the fireplace, watching animals in the wild, watching a good movie. Open communication is very important to me, someone that can talk to me about anything, including themselves or me. I know that I am not perfect but I strive to treat others as I would like them to treat me.

Hobbies are experiencing other cultures, history and architecture. I love dogs and am curious about all animals. Like my dad, I enjoy quiet mornings with a good cup of coffee, when the world is still. I cook with fresh herbs from my garden, and bake special desserts. I am especially fond of traveling and plan to do so often! I also love to go to anything LIVE! Ball games, concerts, the theater, horse races, celebrations, fireworks, you name it.

I love to have fun! I love family and friends and building community and pouring out into other peoples lives. I am the oldest of seven kids from a big family. I am a very warm hearted woman, being the oldest I tend to naturally take care of people. Family and friends are important to me . I have yet to meet a stranger and usually make friends wherever I go. I am a slow warmer at times and it does take a while for me to truly completely trust someone on a deeper level until I know that their intentions are true, but once you win me over I am in for life. I keep my friendships a long time and very rarely throw people out. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, so feel free to message me and we can have a chat. To quote a good friend of mine " going out for coffee is not a marriage proposal!" So if making a new friend or acquaintance sounds promising to you I would love to get together with you sometime.

I am passionate about my faith, and living a life pleasing to God. I look forward to the possibilities that He has provided for my life. My children's lives have been the most influential in my life. Their development and faith formation were paramount to me. Setting an example of faith to them as a mother was the most important calling I have ever had to date. I enjoy the Arts, attending the symphony and concerts, movies, entertaining friends, and watching and supporting my children in their fine arts performances. I volunteer in my parish as well as in my civic community. I'm an upbeat person with a sunny disposition who strives to find joy in any situation.
