37, Weatherford, TXOn Earth a man said, "Here is my plan!" and in heaven God laughed. I have experienced the Love of God through out the stages of my life. I've realized that God calls and only I can open my heart to him. Many times we get so caught up in the asking and become so self-involved, that we forget not to give ourselves in return. I am very eager to learn much more about my Catholic faith, that I've begun reading my Bible AGAIN. I don't want to stop there, I would like to get involved with the Spanish Youth group at my church and maybe if God permits evangelize in a much bigger level. I enjoy the company of my friends. Meeting up with them to grab dinner is always fun, but I also like staying at home to watch a movie or catch a game. I enjoy going to sporting events as well as concerts. Baseball, Basketball, Football and Hockey. I like to go for a run or at least a jog every now and then. I recently discover that my sisters were wrong about me not being able to salsa dance. I play my guitar as much as possible and lately I have been putting my talent to please God. I try to practice my Catholic faith to the fullest, even though there are times when it gets hard and prayer is vital. I'm not the bad guy women are attracted to. I believe that women should be respected as women and not treated as objects. I like the happy tears and try hard not to give the sad ones. There are times when relationships and life can be tough, weird, not fair and unexpected, but I've learned that in order to make a relationship work, both parties must be willing to do sacrifices for each other. I love my family, I have two kids, two sisters, a MARRIED set of parents, a brother in-law and two nieces. They are my corner and have my back through good and bad times. God is now the center of my life, I love him with all my heart and I am learning to put all of my trust in him. Having my dad being Deacon has made me admire him very much. I could only hope God calls me one day to the same vocation, but that will be the Fathers will not mine...
70, Round Rock, TXI am a cradle Cathoic from Montana. I am not looking for a relationship yet. I have been divorced for over twenty years. I am still working on an annulment. I am looking for a companion for dinner, a movie, play, concert or museum trips. I am involved in Church and sometimes go to the Tridentine Mass - which I used to serve as an altar boy. My youngest son calls it "old school" Mass. I still say grace before meals and bow my head at the Holy Name of Jesus. My two sons are grown. However they know that I am there for them. My youngest son got married about three years ago and I really like his wife. They had my first grandchild. He is so cute! They moved in with me last year. I am a single father and I think that, with God's help, I have done a good job in raising them. I am proud of both of them. They have good jobs and are doing well. However they both have left the Church. So I am in "St Monica" mode and praying them back in! In March of 2015 I will become a first time grandparent. I am really looking forward to that. And I will admit to wearing my heart of my sleeve.I love to cook. I am funny and fun to be with. I like to make puns which my youngest son called "dad jokes." I have been involved in the Church. At St Thomas Aquinas Parish in Sugarland I worked with the RCIA for three years as a sponsor and teacher. I was appointed as facilitator for the next three years . After moving to Round Rock I have been involved in the RCIA as a sponsor at St William parish. I belonged to the 9:30 choir for nine years at St Elizabeth of Hungary in Pflugerville. I was a guitar player and the "choir dad." I belong the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) at St John Vianney parish in Round Rock and serve as an Usher there at the 8:00 Sunday Mass. Since I have retired I am now more involved with my Church. I attend daily Mass. I am a Sidewalk Counselor for 40 Days for Life and a substitute RE teacher in my parish. I am trying to make good use of the gifts that God has given me. As a Knight I am involved with the Lenten Fish Fry and our annual Vianney Fest every fall. After all, we are our Pastor's right arm. I had planned to sell my house in a year or two, however I just found out that I will be a first-time grandfather in March of 2015. I was going to move back to MY Montana but I will stay here for several more years to do the grandfather thing: spoiling the child and then giving it back to his parents!
64, Ennis, TXI enjoy life I have put God first. I am very involved in the parish activities including Eucharistic Ministry, The Faith Formation program, daily mass when possible and am trying to share my faith with all I come in contact with. All this said, I miss having someone to share my life with. I would love to have someone to attend church activities as well as movies, dancing, dinners, traveling, or anything that can make me and you smile. I have three grown children and 6 grandchildren. I am a full time Hospice Nurse and love that ministry. It is truly a ministry. Thank you for reading this and it is just an idea of the person I am. God Bless and I know God will send the right person into my life and yours.
49, Olney, TXI moved to Oklahoma City in March of 2011 and moved back to Texas in February 2015. I have traveled extensively in the past. I have been to every continental State in the US, I have traveled all over Mexico and lived in the Mountains in Mexico for a while, I lived in Singapore, been to China and Japan. I am an outdoors type person who loves to hunt, deep sea fish, ski (both water and snow), BBQs, dance (both country and Latin) and just hangout. I am divorced and probably the most open minded person you will ever meet. I am a very trusting person as long as it is a two Way Street, but once the trust is broken it is very hard to forgive.
31, Sugar Land, TXI strive to be the best version of myself everyday while seeking His will in every challenge and obstacle of life. I am currently practicing a progressive fighting system - which implements various martial art styles. I adhere to a disciplined lifestyle of staying physically active and eating healthy (mostly). BW3 wings are my weakness or deep fried Oreos at the Rodeo... Or my friend's championship BBQ. I put my family first and my sister is my right hand man. I have a healthy balance of work and life - I currently hold a senior level position which allows me to inspire and encourage my fellow peers to better themselves with strong work ethics; which is extremely rewarding to me. I have recently started volunteering at a nursing home located near my company during my lunch hours when possible, I find it more valuable at times to feed your soul as oppose to your stomach. I am simply blessed and at the end of this life, I want to be empty so I can truly stand before God to tell Him I used everything He gave me. Ambitions: I want to take time off to explore the world, starting with Europe. Continuously improve my marksmanship in archery skills. (Thank you, Groupon!) Sharpen my dancing skills (My salsa and bachata are a work in progress, again thank you Groupon for continuously providing me with numerous deals I just can't pass up..) Tripe P's: Pastor, Provide, & Protect.
55, Dallas, TXThank you for taking the time to read my profile. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their interests. However, I don't think I am a social butterfly. I treasure quiet times for myself, as well as, one on one moments with a close friend or loved one. I love ballroom dancing, cooking, movies, symphony - pop series, story-telling, writing, and walking and biking around White Rock Lake. In my professional life, my journey has led me to become a person who is passionate about inspiring and helping people achieve their best self in their endeavors. I believe in faith and hope. My parents taught me that having faith is believing something better is right around the corner. Hope awakens us every morning, with the intention of preparing us to seize the moment when it arrives. In my personal life, my journey has led me to my nine moms who taught me to live with integrity, humility, kindness and a sense of humor; to seek healthy and loving relationships; and prepare to be of service to others. These recipes for living have guided my life choices as a young man and continues to impact my thoughts and actions every day.
