35, Irving, TXSo what do you want to know about me? What kind of person I am? Let's see...I actually used to be a lot more introverted than I am now, possibly because nursing doesn't leave a lot of room to be shy and reserved! I swear, I've never been so comfortable asking people insanely personal questions in my life! ;-) Anyway, that doesn't mean I'm promising to be a paragon of eloquence, especially when it comes to initiating a conversation with men I find potentially intriguing. My curse. C'est la vie. What else? I love my family--I have the best one! I have six amazing niblings (great word, right?) who mean the world to me, a horde of chickens bent on world domination, and a drama queen of a Doberman. I don't suppose I really fit any particular molds. I am (or...can be) ladylike, and value etiquette and manners in both sexes. But in the interest of honesty, if you're looking for a submissive woman who will defer to you in all things at the expense of her own judgment and good sense, that's not me. Look elsewhere. I won't be that woman for you. I believe relationships are a partnership of equals (but not "identicals"). I'm not a feminist, certainly not in the rabid sense, but I have an independent spirit. I'm almost always busy with something or other, and I love people, but I also need time to be quiet, alone, and in peace. I like getting dressed up for an evening out, but am just as happy staying home for a movie or the big game. I'm an animal lover and I try to have a green thumb, with ambiguous success. I love to travel. I'm well-educated but I'm not a snob about it--I mostly just love to learn new things. I don't expect everyone to be like me, and it's not all that important to me how many letters someone has after their name. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially biking and hiking. I'm a terrible runner but I want to get better. And...autocorrect just fixed my typo of "better" for "beer," which, I suppose "I want to get beer" can be equally true too. Depends on the brew. ;) Anyway, I think some of the best times are just hanging out with friends around the fire or around the grill, with good food and good conversation and plenty of laughter. Oh, but I can bake like a grandma. Eh...you know. A grandma who can bake...;-) Want to know more? Just ask!

27, Dallas, TXThe first thing about my personality is that I love giving hugs and keeping people on their toes as much as possible, and love receiving both. The second is that, as a choleric extroverted introvert, often my natural tendency is to cut to the chase. For some reason I find deep/substantive conversation to come easier to me than small talk. Small talk to me is like salt. I tend to be crazy in a calculated way. I also want to execute enough skydives to where they'll let me jump by myself, preferably at 20k feet. I once rode in the shotgun seat of the primary police unit of a high speed motorcycle pursuit. Bucket list item accomplished! I tend to be very interested in a few things as opposed to dabbling in a broad array of interests. That's just how I'm wired, but I am more than willing to branch out if I have a reason to do so. I can be a bit intense about things I really care about, so don't let that scare you; it's just me being me. I believe exceedingly strongly that husband and wife should challenge each other to climb ever higher in holiness and closer to God. I think this starts with each spouse understanding and fully embracing the fact that they are actually a sacrament to each other--a primary channel of God's grace to the other. Each spouse should strive to be worthy of Christ, which should become manifest in striving to be worthy of each other because they see Christ in each other. H&W are really tabernacles of Christ to and for each other. Now, this doesn't mean changing each other. A jeweler doesn't change the essence of the stones which he cuts, but he does remove some the crusty edges and ugly bits, leaving a gleaming, beautiful stone which has been brought to the full potential of its beauty. God is the jeweler, the wife is the instrument, and the husband is the stone. Simultaneously, the husband is also the instrument while the wife is the stone. The stone (spouse) cooperating with the tool (other spouse), which in turn cooperates with the jeweler (God), results in the best outcome. Unlike stones, however, spouses also help each other to grow and add character that wasn't there initially. Isn't that beautiful?! That's a good snapshot of my personality.
58, San Antonio, TXHard working man working a lot of overtime but that's because I am single right now. I'm looking for someone to spend time with. I'm more of a homebody but do like restaurants, movies, walking in the park and talking . Right now its just me walking the dog park with my buddies-(my dogs) I'm looking forward to meeting someone, a companion to share some time with.
33, San Antonio, TXI love our Lord so much for Who He is and all the good things he has given me. I have been studying for a Master of Business Administration degree in finance as well as working at a Catholic store. I am going to finish my degree by the end of 2016. I like to read a lot about the Catholic faith, theology, philosophy, and especially its history as well. To pass on the faith is something that I love doing, and I like explaining to people the mysteries and beauty of the Catholic faith, the One True Religion. As for what I am like, I can be very intellectual, inquisitive, and analytical, but I can still be down to earth and friendly at the same time with patience. I enjoy talking to new and different people and getting to know them.
55, Odessa, TXI'm a loving, caring, wears her heart on her sleeve kind of woman, I'm loyal to a fault, have a great sense of humor, enjoy time with friends and family, but sometimes need and enjoy some time to myself. I like painting, reading, writing, teaching, a good movie, dancing, theater and many other things. What I don't like is not having someone special to share my life with.
54, Boerne, TXI like to see new things. I think life is an adventure not to be wasted. I can spend time in museums or mountains or even a store, if you talk nicely. I travel a great deal for work. Looking for someone who wants to travel a bit with me. I am handy around the house; like to do my own stuff. But humble enough to call a pro when it's over my head. I do workout, almost daily. It's very important for so many reasons. I ride my Harley on the weekend when the weather is good. It is supposed to be fun. Like to go to the movies and eat out on occasion. Eating out is a treat. Cooking at home is fun too. I like to cook when there is someone besides me to enjoy it. So I guess I am looking for a guinea pig. I am a woodworker, make furniture. I also like to sit in my chair and watch Longmire or Game of Thrones or Vikings. I have season tickets to the ballet. A wonderful experience. Ideally I want to find someone who wants to do some or many of things I do. But it's also important that we have our own lives our own interests. Gives us something to talk about and find interest in each other.
41, Garland, TXI'm a single mom. I may be a little biased but I think my kid is great ;-). I love kids and I work as a pediatric nurse at a busy hospital. I'm also working on a Master's of Nursing as a family nurse practitioner. I look forward to the day I'll be able to practice advanced nursing and treat all ages. I'm an open-minded, adventurous person, I love new experiences and I'm well educated. I think that eventually I'll stop collecting degrees (1 BA, 1 BSN, 1 Masters of Library Science and the Masters in progress) but I will never stop learning! God and family are my core. As an adult I can look back and see how God has guided and shaped my life. The best and most defining moments in my life have happened when I've simply stepped off into nothing and trusted that God would place me where He needed me!
68, Houston, TXI'm a boomer... worked many yrs in technology and real estate. I love to celebrate all holidays. I look forward to morning coffee while watching the pups run around outside. 36, Houston, TXHi. I am a honest, respectful and god fearing woman. I am also very romantic. I like praying, travelling, reading, walking in the park and going to restaurant. I would like to meet god fearing and romantic man.
22, Dallas, TXI am passionate about God. I truly want to live each day really pursuing God. I am passionate about just life in general because what is there not to love about the every day miracle of waking up and breathing one more time. I think on of the most influential experiences has been my childhood. As a single child I had to learn everything and do things on my own which allowed me to learn how to appreciate loneliness. During my leisure time I love to hang out and be out doors doing sports.
55, Houston, TXI am a down to earth normal lady, no drama. I spend my week working for an oil and gas equipment company managing logistics. It is very busy and hectic and I love my job and thank goodness I still have one. (that is what I keep hearing) I have 4 grown daughters and a grandson that I love spending time with. We do a lot together, but they tell me it is time to get back in the dating world, ha ha. So here I am. I am not a petite lady, but I try to take care of myself, and looking forward to a new healthier year. In my spare time, I bowl, meet friends for dinner, or at the casino for some blackjack. I like to go to the movies to watch action or to be scared and especially for the popcorn! Any suggestions? It so hard to explain yourself when you have to put it into words! I would say it would be wonderful to find a good man that would like to laugh with and create new memories together.
