UPDATE 2: Was in Singapore and now Jakarta for my latest assignment. UPDATE: Currently working & traveling abroad bouncing around Amsterdam, Angola, Italy, SE Asia, Turkey and who knows where else. ;-) I consider myself a fairly simple Texas boy. By day, I am a mild-mannered engineer. Outside of work, I like to go to the movies, play sports such as tennis and basketball, and go to happy hour with coworkers. I go to the gym several times a week to keep in shape. I'm a huge sports fan, especially college football. The Texas Longhorns are my favorite team. I also like to volunteer in my spare time, especially projects that involve children. I think my best qualities are loyalty, compassion, and a good sense of justice and balance. When dealing with life's issues and unexpected obstacles, I tend to not sweat the small stuff, but devote my energies on things that matter the most to me, like family, friends, my faith, etc. It has been my life-long dream to become the first Vietnamese country star. Yeehaw! Well at least there's not much competition ;-) This dream came soon after my failed attempt to replace Lance Bass as the fifth member of N'Sync. In terms of my Catholic faith, I love praying the Stations of the Cross the most. To me, it most deeply defines our relationship with Jesus and reminds us of the love God has for us and the love we should share with each other.

I love to make others laugh and have a good sense of humor but I can also be serious when I need to. My faith is very important to me and I'd like to find a woman who is strong in her's.
  • Adam, 37 from New Braunfels, TX
    37, New Braunfels, TX
I was born and razed Catholic. I believe that (Love Conquers All), Jesus heals all, and live by Ephesians 5:11, "Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them." I rather fight for our faith then jest be a part of it. I truly feel alone in this but I am who I am. I attend Sunday Mass also during the week mass. I also sometimes attend a charismatic renewal mass in San Antonio. . My family is important to me as well as my dogs. I have experienced the healing power of our faith, I love to share and hear others stories and life experiences. I am complex and interesting, I am loving and supportive. I strive to be romantic. People would describe me as devoted, hardworking, and interesting. You can see by my photos I am not like other guys and strive to be true to my self. I fight the good fight. I write papers to fight for our faith and expose devises that divert people off the path to the LORD such as Freemasonry, Kabalah, Witchcraft, the Illuminati and the Occult. That is what makes me, me. I love Spiritual Warfare and opening peoples eyes to the spiritual fight around us. I work as a Corrections Officer and love my job. I love music, writing, reading, and learning about our faith. I found that staying true to my self makes me more of a lover of Christ than putting on a suet and being a "Conservative Catholic." I have found that being who I am makes me happier and more devoted to out Lord. My biggest fears are being misunderstood and being rejected because I am dyslexic.

I am passionate about art, both in creating it and looking at it. I'm good at ceramics, designing and making jewelry, and painting. My favorite styles of art are Impressionism, Renaissance art, and Realism. I would love to have a room in my house designated as an art studio for myself. I enjoy watching movies, everything but horror. I love playing board games, cards, and visiting museums. I spend a lot of time with my family, and we're very close. I have my college degree in Art and I am a certified teacher. I love to travel and always visit art museums and historic sites when I travel. I also like collecting movies. My favorite movies are Marvel hero movies (Captain America especially), the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series, and Classic Disney movies. I love good food, and my goal is to become a good cook. I also enjoy fishing and hiking. I am a little shy when I meet new people, but then I'm talkative once I get to know someone.
  • Sharon, 57 from Austin, TX
    57, Austin, TX
Hello. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Relationships are important to me. I work full time in higher education and I love my job. When not at work I enjoy live music and I love to dance. I love the outdoors and watching my Texas Longhorns play football. I also love to travel. I'm a native Texan and I would love to go to some of the places in Texas I haven't been yet - like Big Bend. One of the most influential people in my life is my father, who passed away in 2007. Growing up, he was a Methodist minister so I grew up in a protestant home. I converted to Catholicism in 1981.
  • Joan, 49 from Dallas, TX
    49, Dallas, TX
I'm a midwestern girl from a large Catholic family (the 6th of 8 kids) who somehow ended up in Dallas 12 years ago. I really like it here though. (Come to think of it, I've really liked anywhere I've ever lived!) I've been divorced for 2 years, (turned in the paperwork for my annulment in August of 2016 and waiting to hear back on that) and have 2 daughters in college and a son who is a sophomore in high school. I'm outgoing, hard-working, honest, have a great sense of humor and put a high priority on my faith, family and friends. I attended a Jesuit university and K-12 Catholic schools. One of my brothers is a priest, and I'm very active in my parish's music ministry, singing in the choir, cantoring at Masses and soloing at weddings and funerals. I'm not one to sit still and would rather go for a walk, grab a work-out or visit with the neighbors than sit inside and watch TV. If it's cold outside I'd rather read a book, play cards, play a board game, work on a puzzle or play the piano than watch TV. I WILL sit still to watch a favorite college football or basketball team play on TV though! I enjoy dinner parties with friends, love to bake (I have a wicked sweet tooth), trying new restaurants, going to concerts, plays and sporting events and am equally comfortable socializing in a large group or one-on-one. I'm looking for someone with similar interests and with whom I don't have to downplay my faith or feel awkward about being an "everyday Catholic." I'm not a fanatical, in-your-face type person, I'm just not interested in being in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to share a faith journey.

  • Alfredo, 26 from Del Rio, TX
    26, Del Rio, TX
ENTP. Amateur philosopher, part-time vegan, and future Jiu Jitsu blackbelt. Cradle Catholic. martial artist enthusiast. I love cycling and adventures. I'm very passionate about my faith and my health. I enjoy cooking, swimming running, and swinging kettlebells. I hope to teach self defense one day. I like so many other cradle Catholics abandoned my faith at around the age of 12, In high school I was an atheist, but through my interest in philosophy I turned agnostic eventually thanks to my belief in intelligent design as well as the lack of morals in our culture and the very apperant evils of society I made my way back to the church. I fear straying away from The good Shepard very much now.
