Hello, I am a caring, thoughtful, social, faithful woman. I go to mass several times during the week and on Sundays. I enjoy helping people, participating in church activities, traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, walking, dancing. Peace and Blessings to you!

I am very devoted to my son. He has graduated from High School and nowI spend most of my time travelling and working! I like dancing and photography, but at the moment I am swamped with work! What ever free time I have, it is with family...my son, or my brothers and sisters or cousins! I have been fortunate enough to go on weekends and try out new country and western dance places or old favs! Try to get a room so no driving just get to do a little drinking when dancing!

Friends and family describe me as friendly, modest, and reflective. Here is my typical day: wake up about 5am and walk outside to watch the stars and listen to the stillness, often swim and run before work when training for triathlons, enjoy riding the bus, arrive at work around 7am, work through lunch eating a homemade meal at my desk, sometimes go to mass or confession during the week, leave work around 4pm, arrive home after 5pm, do chores or projects around the house, eat a small dinner around dusk, maybe watch some tv, recline outside to watch the stars, read the daily readings in the missal, shower then roll into bed about 9p. I also volunteer at a food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, cantor and play guitar at mass, sing in church choir, and teach 8th and 9th grades religious education. Sundials are interesting to me. Being active out in nature is very important. My son has been my focus for 24 years. He's enjoying college life, so now is a suitable time for me to search for a lifelong relationship. After being raised Baptist, I became atheist for almost 20 years and then was confirmed into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2007. I understand doubts about religion. They have strengthened my faith. Part of my attraction to the Church is to hopefully marry again if it's God's will. I want my future spouse and I to fully share in the sacraments of the church. This can help keep our marriage strong through God's love in good and bad times and help lead each other to heaven. Is this something you believe?

To me, communication and honesty are essential in a relationship. I am from South America. I have strong Latin cultural roots, although I have absorbed and enjoyed the American culture. I am active, curious and have a good sense of humor. I am very affectionate. Manners are important to me. In any relationship I expect to respect each other, not matter our differences. If there is not respect, there is no space for love. I like different genres of music from classic to country; western music is my favorite dance. I enjoy going to the theater , and occasionally, to go to the opera. I love to travel and I like to take any opportunity to do so. I have a 17 years old boy who is a senior this school year. He is my life.

I'm a fun, happy and loving person. I'm ready to meet someone who will be a companion and partner in my journey through life. Someone who will be my equal and wants to share in all the pleasures of a fulfilling life. Ugh...enough of that. You'd expect to see something like on one of these profiles, right? A bit contrite and overly general and vague. Here's a slightly better assessment of me...I think. I'm a goof and bit of a dork. I take my job as a father very seriously and I'm focused on my career, but I don't take myself seriously (all the time). Who has time for that? If you're someone who is determined to be serious all the time, gets stressed over the minutia of daily life or can't laugh at themselves, then move on to the next profile. Seriously, I won't be offended. I'm a middle school band director...I've got a thick skin and it would take a whole lot for me to take something personally and not much stresses me out. :) Things I like: Teaching. Music. College Football. Beer (ok, I might love it). Rollercoasters. Good food. Loud families. Holidays. Road trips. Mountains. Animals. Crunchy snow (wrong state...I know). Hot coffee on cold mornings. Making pancakes for my daughter. Cooking...although sometimes, you just have to order a pizza and in my case half of the pizza has to be cheese only, because apparently that's all a 3 year old will eat (she just hasn't discovered how awesome bacon is on everything yet). Going to the dentist...seriously. Dry, witty humor with a healthy dose of well-intentioned sarcasm. Things I like less: Negativity. Mean people. Not knowing how to correctly use your/you're, their/there/they're, it's/its and to/too. Oxford commas. Bad music. Passive aggressiveness. Talking about politics or religion with strangers. Single ply toilet paper. Wal-mart. Olives. My daughter is absolutely, without a doubt, the greatest joy in my life. She's awesome in every possible way and makes me laugh every single day. I'd love to share more about her...just ask. She's way more interesting than me anyway. She grinds her teeth in her sleep, but hey, nobody is perfect.

I am very passionate about many things. I have strong convictions to my faith. I play music, write songs, and perform every now and then. I have a renovation business. Mainly renovating, historic homes, and buildings. Some dating from the 1860's to the 1930's. I do love to travel, although I don't get to do it as often as I like. I enjoy, dancing. I consider myself a pretty good cook. Last, but not least I enjoy pleasing someone who is appreciative .

I am passionate about living my life to the fullest. I am no longer going to put off doing something until "later." I have decided that with God's help I am going to express my God-given talents and not keep them under a bushel basket. I enjoy musical theater, singing in my church choir and travelling in my leisure time.

Well, I'd say that I'm most passionate about helping people. I help teach RCIA and Confirmation at my church as well as help with the youth group. I enjoy going on walks, singing, swimming, and hanging out with friends :)

My dear cousin, who is not so very Catholic, set up a profile on Catholic Match. She promptly removed her subscription and informed me that the matches were too Catholic. And so, as she removed her profile, I added mine. How refreshing that the Cafeteria Catholic is rare here. I, myself, stay out of the buffet line. My great Catholic hero is JPII, the Great. His teaching, Theology of the Body, solidified my faith in my early twenties, and now this gift is passing onto my own children with great love. I lost my husband to cancer six years ago, but by the grace of God, I am strong, faith filled, and unbroken. I am not seeking to replace the irreplaceable. I am seeking a new path with a new prompting. Besides, I gather my Catholic friends close, and cherish them for the true gifts they are.
