Well.... so I guess I would say I am a fairly quiet person, although I do love a good 'get together and laughs' but would describe myself as peaceloving. I discover more and more each day about what it means to be a Catholic. I consider 'prayer' and 'The Mass' to be very important in my life as well as family. I've realised that prayer is my lifeline in life. This proved more so than ever after my Father passed away sadly a few years ago now. I did discern religious vocation in the past but understood that that wasn't God's will for my life. I try to live each day by His will and not mine. Although some days, I must confess, that is not so easily fathomed. I love hearing about other people's faith journeys and where God is in their lives, regardless of wherever they are on that journey. I'm fascinated by others' tales of their travels abroad and learning about different cultures around the world. I learned how to play the Guitar only a few years ago now and I absolutely love it. I play mostly Praise and Worship songs which have been a real blessing to pray with too, mainly with a group of friends and actively attend a prayer group to help with the music ministry. I love to read books as well, most especially on spirituality and faith. I love the outdoors also - walking/hiking. Enjoy scenic hills and hikes done in the hills of Italy, Canada, Scotland, Wales and of course, England. I also learnt British Sign Language and found it a fascinating way to increase one's ways of communicating with others.
  • Edward, 24 from Southampton, GB
    24, Southampton, GB
I finished my law degree a few years ago, and decided I didn't want to be a Lawyer. I now work as an improvement Manager in a major teaching hospital on the South Coast and love it! Used to work in a London children's hospital. I've been a Catholic all my life, and have served on the altar since I was 8, and my faith has always been very important to me. I'd love to meet someone who shares my faith and interests. I like to think I'm quite a fun person; I love going out and trying new things. I love acting and singing (even if I'm not the best at it) and really enjoy reading. I also like staying in and watching films (RomComs are a guilty pleasure of mine). I'm up for meeting and getting to know new people, so if you feel like it, send me a message and we can have a chat! If you don't live in the UK that's OK, I love writing letters (getting post is always nice) and you can never have too many pen pals!
  • Jonathan, 27 from Manchester, GB
    27, Manchester, GB
Hey there! I'm Jon - nice to meet you! Ah, I know what you're thinking, and, no, I'm afraid I'm neither a croupier nor a secret agent (just lost a bet at work today and thought it'd make for an interesting picture!) Introduce myself? Well, let's see... Alright, I'm 27 years old, Manchester born-and-bred, and was received into the Church about five years ago whilst a student in Liverpool as the only convert in a non-religious family (a very long story which I think I'll save for our first meeting!); to say it's the most wonderful decision I could ever have made is an understatement, and, although the subject still leads to some, ahem, extremely interesting conversations, I know my family would love nothing more than for me to meet someone who shares the most important thing in my life. I've a wide variety of much-loved hobbies and interests apart from deepening my faith (literature, politics, poetry, languages, running, classic TV series, cinema, music, football, etc., etc.!) but am always ready to try new things too so please don't be shy if you've an original first-date idea!
  • John, 38 from LONDON, GB
    38, LONDON, GB
I've thought a lot recently about my life and want I want from it. I'm a nice, regular guy from a loving and stable family who just hasn't found the right woman to make me feel 'whole' yet. I trust God that this will happen. I'm excited to meet that sparky someone with a great sense of humour, who shares my outlook and values. I asked some friends to help me write this (apparently I'm too modest to write solo): they've forced me to admit that Im a genuinely nice guy who enjoys being active and sociable. My family and faith is central to me. I like the simple but quality things in life; a proper pint; a good book; decent food; coffee with the crossword; spontaneous get-aways; occasional giving-in to trashy cinema; and experiencing a balance of the familiar and the new. I'm into photography, sports, art, the theatre, listening to and performing music, writing that first novel (one day) and travel. But enough about me - Who are you? Its important to me that I can laugh with you, and share your interests and values. Im not fussed about staying in my comfort zone, as comfort zones can get just a bit too comfy. Looking forward to getting to know someone who feels right.
  • David, 27 from Bristol, GB
    27, Bristol, GB
I'm David, an easy going 27 yr old guy. I moved to Bristol almost three and a half years ago and am looking to meet someone special! I'm passionate about football (Newcastle United), comedy and music, museums and heritage/history and natural history/geology. I like to spend my free time visiting new places, watching sport, listening to music, watching films, especially comedy films and reading, usually thriller novels, James Paterson and Dean Koontz are favourites of mine.I also really enjoy going out to eat and exploring great places for food. I like to keep fit in my spare time too, walking as much as possible and playing football once a week and squash, my job also keeps me pretty active too. I love going bowling too, I'll never turn down a bit of bowling! My experiences at university and living and working in America have been the most influential in my life. From them I have learnt the importance of being open to new experiences which has led me to doing things I never thought I would do e.g. acting in a play in New York which I got roped in to doing. The most important thing I have learnt from them is that friendships and relationships with people are the most rewarding and significant thing we can do during our lives.
  • Claire, 42 from Eastbourne, GB
    42, Eastbourne, GB
My family and friends are very important to me and I thrive on spending time with them. I am passionate about travelling, experiencing new cultures and building new relationships. I have done voluntary work in Sri Lanka and have lived for a time in Tanzania. In my leisure time I enjoy meeting up with family and friends. I love spending time at my caravan in Wales - enjoying county walks, the outdoors and walking along the beach to the pub. I do yoga and Zumba weekly and enjoy going to the cinema or theatre.
  • Shawn, 30 from Ramsden Heath, GB
    30, Ramsden Heath, GB
I'm just a warm-hearted, good-humoured and loyal gentleman seeking to share the hope & happiness of life with a wonderful woman. While I am a traditionalist, I am still respectful of all beliefs and walks of life, and I truly believe the worst thing you can do is to judge a person before you get to know them. After all, you cannot learn to love someone if you are too busy judging them.
  • Runa, 44 from London, GB
    44, London, GB
I like nature, God, fine art, innocence and sweetness. I like gentle forms of exercise. I believe that what you do unto others comes back to you. I try to use products that are kind to the environment and that are not tested on animals. I like to eat out in pleasant places occasionally. I think I know what is right and wrong. I wont use people who are designed for holy lives for money purposes .I believe there is a reason that God created us the way we are and that we are precious to him in that form. I like biblical teachings. I work in health care administration and have interests in naturally healing the body and mind. I don't like satanic agendas.

Hi! I am a faithful Catholic and wish we can be honest, nice friends to start with. This would be a good way to know more about another person with God as the center.
  • Lucy, 24 from Guildford, GB
    24, Guildford, GB
I'm a young professional living in Guildford, originally from the north, and working in Clinical Research. I love my work because I get to be involved in creating medicines to treat people with conditions that previously had no good treatments. I'm very intelligent and enjoy long conversations discussing different points of view or analyising some news, film or book. Though now graduated, my time at university still has a huge influence on me because it was there I met other young Catholics open in their faith for the first time, other than my family. I also got to attend WYD in Rio, which is something I will always be grateful for. I love rugby union particularly but also enjoy tennis, f1 and Olympic sports. Football is alright. I enjoy these sports as a spectator but love hiking up hills (Yorkshire is always best for this). In my spare time I relax by watching documentarys or comedy shows, listening to music and, on the odd occasion, going out to the pub for a session. My interests are pretty wide ranging so conversation is the best way to find out more!
  • Deborah, 29 from Edinburgh, GB
    29, Edinburgh, GB
Love spending time with friends and family whether it be for dinner or drinks. My family are a large part of my life and are very important to me. I love to try new places whether it's restaurants or bars. In my spare time I like to watch boxsets or head to a pub quiz. I would love to explore the world further. One of my favourite countries is Italy and I'm desperate to go back. I'd also be open to other travelling suggestions.
