Hello. I'm a liberal Catholic. I work in central government. But I'm a writer, historian and trade unionist. The family gather every Sunday and Dad cooks. I often meet friends or family over a pint of real ale or at the cricket in the summer. I'm content with life, really, but they say there's someone out there for everyone, so might as well have a look!
  • Zoe, 34 from LONDON, GB
    34, LONDON, GB
I'm usually a calm & happy person. I've just spent some time on the coast, enjoying long peaceful sea walks. I'm creative - I love art & music & especially writing fiction & poetry, which I'm studying at university at the moment. I also enjoy laughing sometimes & have a sense of humour. My faith is very important to me & central to my life. I pray every morning & at times during the day (eg. as I'm walking along). I enjoy praying alone as well as in company, in church & prayer groups... I've lived in Brazil & speak Portuguese. I loved the culture & way of life, made many friends, & am still influenced by my time there. I consider myself to be companionable, kind and patient, and I love children.

I am a primary school teacher at a Catholic school. I absolutely love my job! I have travelled in Africa and Europe. I enjoy adventurous activities and whilst on my gap year I took part in white water rafting and a bungee jump, which I got a real buzz out of. I have a season ticket to Arsenal and am passionate about sport. I even understand the offside rule! I am interested in politics and world affairs, I like to keep abreast of current events and thoroughly enjoy debating the news. In short: I am fun- loving, witty and enjoy socialising with friends.

Fun wacky, loving and caring. Creative, kind and honest. <3 I am seeking a strong man to have some witty banter with and eventually be my soul mate. I prefer someone local and someone who wants to get out and about not chat for hours and never meet. My faith is important to me I would prefer someone who shares this and is preferably a practicing Catholic but if not at least respects my beliefs and is spiritual. I go to mass at least twice a,week and sing in the choir. I also however sing in a rock choir bit different I know but I love both and enjoy the contrast. I would like to be introduced to new interests. I like going for walks, watching bands, listening to music, singing, painting and drawing....I have my own arts business but don't work fulltime due to health issues, I can do most things and its not life limiting so don't let that put you off. I used to work fulltime as a Children's and Families/ also mental health social worker but as you can imagine got a little burnt out from that although I miss the family work very much and have a good rapport with children and young people. Hence some of my photos...they are not all my children but may as well be. Also like going out for drinks and meals and off on spontaneous if you fancy a coffee or a drink or even a magical mystery tour please get in touch soon x

Hi, thank you for reading my profile. its very hard to describe oneself in a few words in a profile like this. I'm quite a shy person until you get to know me. My most obvious characteristic is my sense of humour and ability to make people laugh. I am very honest, sincere and dependable (how my friends describe me), and can be very easygoing and laid back. Many of my friends look to me for support and advice and I always like to help whenever I can. OK what am I looking for? that's much easier to answer. I am looking for someone to share my life and faith with. Its important to build relationships slowly and base them on trust, so that we both can truly share everything. Starting off as friends is a good start, as even friendships are treasured.
  • Barry, 73 from Birmingham, GB
    73, Birmingham, GB
I love movement and dance and music, especially English folk traditions and am modestly active but not fanatical dancer. I also like classical orchestral music and old buildings - specialising in Victorian ones. I feel that we must reduce world population growth and greenhouse gases and therefore try to minimise my carbon footprint and promote nature conservation where I can.
  • Michael, 38 from London, GB
    38, London, GB
I'm passionate about human rights and making some kind of commitment/contribution to improving the lives of others around the world. I work as a lawyer for the Government currently, but previously worked for the UN in Geneva and Malawi. I love travelling, reading, dining out (craft beer, wine, cocktails etc!! :)). I also like sport and judo is my main hobby (although right now I have an injury!). My Catholic faith is an important part of my life and ideally I would like to meet a fellow liberal Catholic with whom to have a meaningful relationship to see where things could go. But I don't think the Church's teachings are necessarily perfect, particularly for modern living, although I am a big fan of Pope Francis :).

I would like more children with the right person. This is something new for me and not as into faith as most on here so not convinced but a mate said I should give it a go drop me a line if sounds good
