I'm an affectionate young Catholic woman, who likes having fun, playing outside, going for walks, relaxing, talking about movies, good conversation and time with family and friends. More about me: I love the Traditional Roman Liturgy and the Sacraments. One thing that you should know about me is that I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and am being medicated for it. These conditions can be treated and I hope my special man would be willing and patient to work with me. I am passionate also about theology, philosophy, literature, and any good quality reading/studying. I like to write stories. Majoring in English at college was amazing because I love using the mind God gave me and learning about His Creation in different disciplines. People who have inspired me are my loving, hard-working, self sacrificing and holy mom and dad. Other people I admire are the elves in Tolkien's books!

My name is Jared, and I am extremely passionate about liturgical music. I am an organist and cantor at several local churches, and I am also a parish and high school choir director. I also am a high school catechist. Mother church and her teaching are a huge part of my life as a member of the body of Christ. I am studying to acquire a major in theology, and I plan to be a high school religion teacher.

Mild-mannered; affectionate; passionate - and especially so about the Latin Mass. I enjoy: dining out and being a gentleman to a lady, holding doors and hands, museums, antique window shopping and setting on the porch in the evening. Christmas movies are a favorite, as are good suspense movies. I love the outdoors and the cool Fall season...my open windows let it all in - Thank God for sweaters! Walking while saying the Rosary is a favorite spiritual sport. I'm a believer in unconditional forgiveness and non-reciprocal love as Christ preached and gave us example, especially from His Cross. I do my best to live each day as Our Lord reveals it to me. I say the Rosary daily and have done St. Louis de Montfort's Consecration to Our Lady and do my best to live its ideals. Daily Mass is my so-far unrealized ideal, but most always you'll find me there each Saturday to start the weekend off right. My checkbook balances each month; I am able to save weekly and tend to stay on budget (most of the time, anyway!) I don't mind leading the Rosary, making hard decisions or apologizing for my mistakes. I try and stay fit, so I walk a lot, both during work and after. My High School Senior son is big on health and exercise, so cooking and feeding him (and me) the right foods is always a challenge. I try to follow a low carb/meat diet as much as possible. I'm no vegetarian, but I do enjoy a good salad... My eldest son also lives in Kansas; the other kids live in Texas. Don't let the tribe scare you...all but one are over 18 and lead their own lives. I'm a blogger...It's small, but does have readers worldwide. Family Genealogy research is also a favorite pastime. My Dad's English ancestor came to Virginia in the late 1700's; My Mom's Fraternal German ancestors and my Dad's Maternal ancestors both originated in Western and Southern Germany.

I'm a full time graduate student, pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, with a special focus on cognitive assessment. When I'm not plugging away at my dissertation or working at a psychiatric hospital, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing guitar, and reading. I'm an introvert, in the sense that I find parties and group activities tiring; but, I've recently determined to develope my sociability. So far so good ;) .

If you're reading this far, then I guess I've passed the hardest test--getting someone's attention. Good so far. I want to get the most out of my life and believe that can't happen until I find a person to share it with. I come from a family of eight, and have one younger brother. My parents have been hands down the greatest influence in my life. Their unwavering dedication, sacrifices and all that they have done for me and my siblings never cease to impress me and bear witness to their real love for us. I enjoy the natural environment, going on hikes and adventures, Spanish and exercise (although I'm not super fit). I just graduated from high school in June and am attending a local college.

I'm passionate when it comes to personal fitness and my family. Regarding personal fitness side of things, I feel that it's important for a healthy mind to have a healthy body to go with it. Now I'm not a person who is pushy when it comes to others going to the gym and I don't go to the gym every day of the week. I do it a few times a week to help keep my body and mind disciplined and healthy. On the family side, I'm number four out of eight children. My family means everything to me, and I spend the majority of my free time with them. Along with my faith they're the most important things in my life. I'm currently attending a community college to get my basic classes out of the way then I will be transferring to a university to get a bachelors degree in economics with a minor in political science. I plan on going to law school to become a lawyer. In which field of law I don't know yet. I'm politically aware in the sense that I like to keep myself informed about the goings on of our political (circus) sphere. I find it all fascinating and yet frustrating. On the faith side of things, it's the single most important thing in my life. I go to Mass every single Sunday. If it wasn't for my faith, my life would seem meaningless. I'm a firm believer that with God anything is possible. If you're interested in talking with me feel free to message me. I'm a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm more outgoing. I like to joke around and have a good time. I'm laid back and I try my best to be as accommodating and considerate as possible. I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know you.

I have just begun a new academic project as a Jurisprudence Doctorate student in Law. My background includes classical dance & music, with a Masters Degree in Entertainment Business. I am very close to my adult daughter and her husband, not to mention my Great Dane, who was a rescue. I converted to Catholicism about 10 years ago because in this crazy world, it seems the Catholics have figured out that evil exists and what to do about it. I am recovering from shingles which came as a shock because I enjoy excellent health having danced almost every day of my youth. I enjoy mysteries, especially Sherlock Holmes, classic movies and music. I don't have leisure time because my mother insisted if a person was bored it was their own fault. I take commissions for costumes or creative sewing projects.

My favorites things to do are; gardening, listening to music (while playing spider solitaire), tending to my aquariums, and being outside. I also like to read, sew, bake, and watch movies I have three aquariums with African cichlids. I am constantly amazed how God has made each one of them different with their own personalities. I could watch them all day. I own a black cat; named Chloe and a labradoodle puppy named Josie. My favorite animals are dogs, horses, cats, and then my fish. My favorite quote is "My God, what will happen to me today, I do not know; but I do know that nothing will happen to me which Thou hast not foreseen or ordained for my greater good. I accept, then, Thy thrice holy will; I submit myself to it, and desire to delight in it despite all the revolts of my reason, and the repugnance's of my nature" by Mme. Elizabeth, Louis XVI's holy sister.
