51, American Fork, UTWhy are we here? Seems like a very intense subject. But I meant on this site. Ha, made you think for a moment. So yeah, I had my heart broken. But you know what? If it was broken it means it still works!!! Also means I'm still blessed to be alive. And walking upright. I was what I call "too involved" with my parish. Have scaled back a bit but am still involved. Does that make me some kind of "freak?" Hey, what's it like to be Catholic in Utah? Million dollar question for a lot of us. It is so much easier conversing with a Catholic. Try explaining RCIA, CCD, DDD and Knights of Columbus to your neighbor. And forget about asking: "Would you like a beer or something?" It's cool when I tell them Mass takes about an hour and I can go on Saturday.
68, Salt Lake City, UTI have been living in Utah for the past 16 months. I moved to Utah (Cottonwood Heights) from WI to be near family members. I am hoping to meet someone with character (not a character), is honest and has a big heart. Open conversation is a must. Agree to disagree in a respectful manner is of utmost importance to me. I am at a point in my life where I do not HAVE to be with someone, but I would LIKE to be with someone. I am hoping that I will meet someone on Catholic Match that will match with me. I am tired of meeting people who "talk the talk" as I am looking for someone who will "walk the talk".
49, Salt Lake City, UTI've never been married, not for lack of not wanting to, just lack of not finding the right person. I love children but have none. I do have a dog and a cat they make me laugh and smile! I come from a close family with parents that have been married a very long time so I know that it can be done! I have a younger sister and she has a dog too! (My companion would have to love animals!) We like to do things together so that is important to me! We go to plays and movies and meals out! During the summer we go camping... motor home camping... getting too old for tent camping! I am a crazy crafter... I crochet and do cross stitch and make jewelry and whatever else I find to do. During the holidays I participate in Craft Boutiques to sell what I have made! The last 2 years I organized the craft fairs for my church and we raised over $1800.00!! Its a great feeling to be able to do something like that and enjoy the process! I love to cook (and eat... I am not a Barbie Doll sized girl!) I take work seriously and won't accept anything less than that from a companion! There is more to me and hope to find someone willing to get to know the rest for a long lasting friendship and more! I have been on this sight over a year but have had no luck... are you brave enough to take a chance?
68, Vernal, UTI would like describe myself as a confident, honest, loyal and responsible woman who likes to keep life in order and enjoy with new experiences. I try to be a good steward of everything I have been giving me. I love to learn new things and I am constantly enjoying the opportunities to do so in this amazing world. I offer the reciprocal love, attention, companionship, loyalty and respect that my partner and I deserve. I believe that both partners need to have adequate space and freedom to be individuals, but I convinced also, that relationships are stronger and more relaxed when both partners are similar as possible, particularly as related to their personality, values and interests and can continue doing the same things have always enjoy throughout their life. I would enjoy learning /trying new activities that are special interests of my partner. I enjoy good moments with friends and family; my family and friends are very important to me, your family and friends would be also very important to me. I also give priority to healthy food because I want to be active as long as possible. I like to read biography in particular of great inventors and history, watch almost all sports, the arts, opera, museums, all kinds of music but in particular classical music, movies, travel, some outdoor activities and gardening, antiques. I care about animals.

32, Ogden, UTI consider myself a very passionate, and understanding and humble man.But once you get to know me I can be silly and goofy aswell,my faith is very important to me has brought me far and has gave me hope from a dark side in my life.I'm looking forward to the future with that special women and grow in our faith and our love for our Lord Jesus together.
26, Salt Lake City, UTI am a music addict. So I like to do anything involving music from karaoke to dancing or attending concerts. If I had to name a concert that was influential I would have to give it to Coldplay. However, having said that nothing compares to listening to Andrea Bocelli sing the Our Father for the Pope's visit in Philly.
57, Layton, UTEnjoy work, play, family and friends. I stay active and healthy and I appreciate others who do the same. I prefer to get to know each other via a phone conversation instead of messaging.
56, West Jordan, UTAlmighty God, hear this relationship prayer. As You are first in my heavenly heart and mind and spirit, I also want a Christian companion for my earthly heart and mind and being. Guide me to the partner You know is perfect for me. Help me walk in faith until that time of our first meeting. Show me how I can become a spouse worthy of love. Then guide me through every stage of our relationship, so that, as we move ever closer to You, we grow closer to each other in Love, in Joy, and in Faith. Thank You God, for hearing my prayer. Amen! Every few weeks, I come across this saying online: "Everyone comes with baggage. Find someone who loves you enough to help you unpack.." I would add: "If you're truly helped, truly unpacked, then there's no more need to travel anymore, and you will...... finally.... be home." That's really all I want, all I've ever desired , was to "be home" - home with Him and home here on earth. We all carry the yolk of our pasts, and don't we all just want to "be home?" Meanwhile, though I have lost the first battle, my good fight to protect myself and my 10 year old 'angel' from the past abuse continues. She is everything I live for at this moment in time, but there's room in both of our hearts for that new special someone to get to know us, and see our silver linings. . Someone who's really Christian and would really care would take the time to befriend me FIRST, and learn / appreciate the person I am beneath all that's happened to me. There's a song on 107.5 KLOVE called "All of Me." I will give "All of Me" to someone who shows me she can do the same. I know now I can do no less. I cannot give all of myself and be in a one sided, casual, or Long distance relationship. I won't let myself be hurt by women who "change their minds" or lead me on with their words. I am no longer afraid to cry, be passionate, show my feelings or do my best to communicate them. I am far from perfect in that area, but I promise to be a dedicated work in progress. Patience, mutual persistence, and acceptance of quirks and idiosyncrasies will always go a long way. Friends can grow into more, but unless that's there first, there's no hope for a long-term future. There has to be a MUTUAL AND EQUAL give and take that shows clear forward motion and committment - yes I need to work on it too. HYPOCRISY IS THE TRUST KILLER! God doesn't junk!
44, Sandy, UTSweet by nature. Religiously confused. Searching. Librarian. Shelter dog owner -- Chihuahua. Overly educated with average abilities -- occasionally shine. Piano player. Lover of Jane Austen and Louisa May Alcott. Once had a pet Beta fish named Steinbeck who didn't make it after I took a trip to New York. Was the DaVinci exhibit at the Met worth the loss of my pet? I was broken-hearted. If I did it again, I would save the fish. Slightly over-the-top. This is me.
