72, Morrisville, VTI prefer to be called by my nickname, Jeane. I have 5 married children, 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. I am divorced with an annulment and free to marry in the Catholic Church. I am looking for nothing more than friendship for now. Someone to go to the movies or concert with; maybe out to dinner. I'm an active person. I like to go camping, bowl, or maybe just a stroll around the block. I bowl on a woman's league and travel with our bowling team, the Road Runners. I am retired but work occasionally as a care giver for an elderly lady. I'm active in my parish as a Eucharistic Minister and choir member. I lead a rosary group at our local nursing home once a week. Serving others, makes me happy! I love to travel to Marian sites and Holy places. Medjugorje is my favorite place! I have a Godchild in Bosnia that I sponsor. She is the light of my life! I traveled to Medjugorje in early October 2009 and spent some time in Northern Bosnia in her hometown of Vitez. What a wonderful visit! I also returned to the Holyland in October 2010 with my eldest daughter for the second time. This was a pilgrimage led by Fr Lively from the St Johnsbury parish; and absolutely incredible faith journey with a very holy priest! I'm old fashioned in the respect that I feel that a gentleman should make the first gesture of contact. I would welcome a pen pal first and perhaps if personalities match, meet face to face and see where the friendship goes. So if you are inclined to get to know me better, please drop me a line.
70, Vernon, VT
78, Essex Junction, VTMy main goal is to meet a mature man whose life is already balanced in the important areas of physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Family and friends are very important to me and I hope they are important to you as well. I am looking for a man who is also comfortable with his present life and financial situation but looking to enhance his social life by meeting a woman who shares similar interests. I might liken myself to a cut diamond that has too many facets to describe in a few words. I can sparkle or not depending on what any given situation demands and yet I possess some flaws which hopefully add interest to my basic character. I consider myself a good, decent person and my friends would describe me as intelligent, artistic, funny, clever, compassionate, considerate, loyal, honest and most of all, joyful and optimistic. It is important for me to meet a man who is Catholic and possesses all the characteristics that make him a good, decent person who shares my values and would appreciate socializing with an attractive, independent, youthful, and warmhearted woman. I have been debating over placing my profile on Catholic Match for a while but could not decide if that is something for me. Some of my friends have urged me to take a leap of faith and that is what I am doing. Here's to a happy landing

77, Essex Junction, VTI consider myself a traditional Catholic and am happy for it. I truly am and fully recommend it to those who think otherwise. I had a successful marriage for 23 years based upon commonality in Catholic understanding. Being retired and financially independent helps somewhat, but it is my faith that I find the most influential as I advance in years. Aside from these feelings, I like to live as as normal of life as I can from day to day, doing what I have done since I was younger. I find basic living enjoyable with a little bit of culture mixed in to add some flavor. Routinely, I find entertainment in people watching. It has a lot to offer and is free. As the late Art Linkletter used to say, "People are funny." I try to be funny too because a good laugh is most refreshing.
81, South Burlington, VTI am at a stage of my life where I want to reenter the dating scene. I have been married in the past and was granted an annullment through the Church. At my age I find it difficult to meet people who share my interests and hobbies, and am hoping that this site can help. I am looking for friendship to begin with - not looking to start a serious relationship quickly, I like to take my time. If you are of the same mind, please feel free to contact me, thank you.
63, Barnet, VTI live on a small lake community in the northeast kingdom of Vermont. with my two adopted teenage boys.I am a happy, optimistic person. I love myself and my life. I am the director of a small secondary school.which is now in its 14th year. It has been a dream come true and it is still the hardest job I ever loved. So, my life can be hectic at times between car pooling to basketball practices and my job but I do manage to keep my sanity by taking care of myself, not just everybody else. I try to walk miles every day , have a glass of wine every night, and frequently laugh till my side hurts. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, love to travel . Being at home is fine with me too as I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Sitting on my dock by the lake and listening to the loons at or reading by a warm fire both sound inviting. However I most likely would not turn down an opportunity to go out for a quiet dinner with a handsome man. I am looking for a developing relationship with a man who shares my basic values and wants the same. I am looking for a relationship that values interdependent -anticipating what the needs, desires, thoughts, fears, joys of the other are and being there to share , to support, to comfort, to laugh , cry , experience the simple pleasures in life, become inseparable - not necessarily physically but mentally , emotionally, spiritually. What I seek is to find someone who can and will challenge me -to be better in every aspect of life - especially in those thing I find most difficult , or uncomfortable.
70, Springfield, VTI am in awe of the beauty around me and grateful for each day and the good health to be able to enjoy it. Family is important to me and I love the time I can spend with them and I am so very proud of them and what they have accomplished in their lives. I think my job as a Mom was a good one. I love a walk in the woods, a beautiful snowfall (okay it can stop now, ready for spring!), a glass of wine and dinner shared with someone special, as is simply sitting by the fire or on the beach listening to the ocean. I love the ocean and guess if I could live anywhere, next to the ocean would be heaven, but I will settle for visiting!!. I think being able to share the days events, ones dreams, ones hopes and memories, with a special person fulfills a part of our hearts desire and God's plan. I would love to travel and my passion is to visit Italy and Scotland. There is so much to experience and so much beauty to be seen and I hope I am blessed to be able to experience some of it. Love life and cherish each moment!! Life is good!!
63, Saint Albans, VTI have been divorced 10 years after being married for 26 years. My husband and i were able to get back to best friends after our divorce, however he died 5 years ago. I feel much moree like a widow than a divorcee. I love nature. I've done quite a bit of traveling, with destinations often selected based on the beauty of the area. I had the opportunity to live in Hawaii for 3 years. I came back to Vermont to be closer to my family, but really miss the ocean. I love dogs. In the past I have had English Setters, but decided I needed a smaller dog and now have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel that I adore. I enjoy walking, music, movies, good books, good food, good wine and good friends. am interested in finding someone to share these experiences. My faith is a very important aspect of my life. I sing in a liturgical choir and a local Catholic College. My life has provided a number of significant challenges. I know it is because of my faith that I have always been able to find a plan "B" that worked for me.

69, Bennington, VTHi. My name is Rose, I'm a transplanted 'city' girl and enjoy country living but still enjoy visiting places where there's more hustle and bustle. I'm passionate about our Catholic faith, the church and her teachings and attend mass regularly. My family and the lasting friendships with others that have developed over the years are also very important in my life. I enjoy being of help to others and work with those less fortunate, assisting part time at our local outreach center. I also hope to start volunteering as a foster grandparent in one of our area schools when that becomes available. I enjoy reading in my spare time as well as dabbling in oil pastels and sculpture.
