I am currently in my first year of Fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. I love doing stuff outdoors, even though I feel like I haven't been outside in ages ... lol. But I also love to just sit back relax and watch a movie ...preferably with a nice cold Belgian beer. I can say a lot more but that will be revealed with time. Other than that I'm a catholic trying to love God to the best of my ability in this crazy and beautiful world.

My philosophy for life is to do my best to make those around me feel better about themselves after I leave than they did before I walked over. I love being with my friends and family most, but I'm able to keep myself entertained alone if need be. I'm quieter by nature, I don't draw attention to myself in a group, but I can absolutely be chatty and have great conversations with people. I spend my free time having fun. I love being goofy with my friends, whether we go out together or spend a quiet night in. I love to dance, I love jigsaw puzzles and board games, and I love being creative. I play my music when I get bored, singing and playing my piano, but I also love to draw, write, paint, sculpt, cross-stitch, and even decorate cakes.

Above all else my one true goal is to become a saint, and I'm looking for the woman with whom God means for me to live out the vocation I've discerned. Faithfully practicing "hard identity" Catholicism is central to my life, but as you may be able to tell from my photo album, competitive shooting is probably the second thing (after my Catholic identity) that my friends know me for. When the weather allows, I also enjoy exploring the winding back roads on my motorcycle on some of our beautiful Vermont days. Its an exercise in futility to try to adequately give a complete picture of who I am in these couple paragraphs, and I'm sure there's more I could say, but what's great about this site is that you can always ask if you want to know more!

Once upon a time there was a princess. She lived in a castle in the woods on a hillside, overlooking the valley kingdom she grew up in. She's a bit quiet at first, but once she's comfortable she will open up a little easier. She loves art and music, and going for walks whether they be in the forest or the magical realm of Burlington. She is often visited by animal friends at her castle in the woods. She has a good group of human friends too. She feels very fortunate to have met them. This introverted princess has had her heart broken, so she's hesitant to find a knight in shining armor, but also has hope that he'll come someday -not to save her, because this princess is independent and can fight her own dragons, but to show her kindness, patience, and understanding.

Hi, I'm from Brazil but currently living in Vermont for one year on exchange. I made this profile because I know how important it is to date people that follow the same beliefs as me. Being Christian and Catholic is part of my life since always, my family back to Brazil is very religious. I was a religious teacher and used to do a lot of volunteer work at my parish. I'm graduated in Human Resources manager and I want to do a new graduation in Psychology. I left my job and family in Brazil for as long as I live here to improve my English and to know the American culture. Now I am living a new life and meeting a lot of new people, but I do not want to leave aside Christian life and manners, so I'm looking for someone to share it with. :) Ps. I'm still improving my English, so I can write something wrong. Thank you for being patient! Haha

I am really passionate about the outdoors, and exercise. I really like to help others, and I try to do that all the time. I really love film, and reading, and getting to know new people. I am currently studying to be a teacher, but I also am involved in real estate.

Hey, I'm Eric and I'm originally from Massachusetts. I attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont where I graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. After a few short years, I decided that I did not want to leave the beautiful state of Vermont. I enjoyed the scenery and easy access to many mountains the most, but as well as all the personal and professional connections that I had made while in school. My faith life has played a huge role in my life, even more so while in school. I have met many of my friends through the local Newman center and they have helped me grow in my faith. I admit that without this connection, I probably would have fallen away from my faith in college.

I'm afraid I haven't got as much to tell as some people on here. I've been Catholic most of my life, and come from the city of Burlington here in Vermont. I didn't have many friends in school, so I'm rather shy. But I do like meeting new people, and I love being able to share my interests and hobbies. I'm also not very good at writing introductions for myself, as you can see here! I'm a passionate reader! My favorite authors include Stephen King, Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, G.K. Chesterton, Neil Gaiman, and many others. When I've got some free time I'm usually reading or practicing my writing, hoping to be an author some day. I'm also a big music fan. My favorite band is Rush, but I'm also a fan of the classics like Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. Honestly, most Prog Rock/Prog Metal appeals to me. The more meaningful the lyrics and talented the musicianship, the better. I'm also a huge movie fan! From Arsenic and Old Lace, to Star Wars, to the Marvel Movies (I'm a big comic book reader too!) to High Society, my taste in movies and tv is eclectic to say the least!
  • Benjamin, 18 from Richmond, VT

My name is Benjamin but everyone calls me Ben. I am not very good at talking about myself but I'll do my best. I am most passionate about composing music, programming games, drawing and painting, doing math, writing, and watching anime. I always put my friends and family first because I love being kind. I also love sarcasm and puns. I love cooking too. I love kids and I spent much of my childhood with kids younger than me (cousins, neighbors, etc) in addition to my friends. I want to have at least 3 kids. I live for God but the one thing I want in my life for my own sake is to be married. I've wanted to be married ever since I was 2 years old and I saw how happy my parents were together. Everything else in my life I do to try to use the gifts God gave me to make the world better.

Generally, I am shy until I get to know a person better. I am passionate about food, family life and nature. I would say I get my pleasure in making those around me happy. I love trying and learning new things and very open to new experiences.

I am not okay with compromising what I believe. And it's a real deal breaker for me whether or not who I'm with believes the same things that I do. #1 is they must not be attending the Novus Ordo Missae in any way shape or form--I personally stopped attending about 2 years ago. #2 is they must believe that the Catholic Faith is absolutely necessary for salvation (de Fide). #3 is they believe that one MUST be baptized in water to make it to heaven--no BOD. All three must be there or it's a deal breaker--also I realize that almost 100% of people on CM deny these 3 things but it's worth a try.

Hi! I am a graduate student at the University of Vermont, hoping to get my doctorate in Chemistry! This takes a up a lot of time in my life. But I try to enjoy many things during my free time. I love being outside either hiking, fishing or hunting. Most recently I've picked up beekeeping as a hobby!
