81, South Burlington, VTI am at a stage of my life where I want to reenter the dating scene. I have been married in the past and was granted an annullment through the Church. At my age I find it difficult to meet people who share my interests and hobbies, and am hoping that this site can help. I am looking for friendship to begin with - not looking to start a serious relationship quickly, I like to take my time. If you are of the same mind, please feel free to contact me, thank you.
66, Burlington, VTRetired lawyer. Former world traveller. Writing novels. Very funny. Passionate about recovery, creativity, history, trying to get a film produced. 0ne day at a time.
26, Winooski, VTAbove all else my one true goal is to become a saint, and I'm looking for the woman with whom God means for me to live out the vocation I've discerned. Faithfully practicing "hard identity" Catholicism is central to my life, but as you may be able to tell from my photo album, competitive shooting is probably the second thing (after my Catholic identity) that my friends know me for. When the weather allows, I also enjoy exploring the winding back roads on my motorcycle on some of our beautiful Vermont days. Its an exercise in futility to try to adequately give a complete picture of who I am in these couple paragraphs, and I'm sure there's more I could say, but what's great about this site is that you can always ask if you want to know more!
28, Milton, VTOnce upon a time there was a princess. She lived in a castle in the woods on a hillside, overlooking the valley kingdom she grew up in. She's a bit quiet at first, but once she's comfortable she will open up a little easier. She loves art and music, and going for walks whether they be in the forest or the magical realm of Burlington. She is often visited by animal friends at her castle in the woods. She has a good group of human friends too. She feels very fortunate to have met them. This introverted princess has had her heart broken, so she's hesitant to find a knight in shining armor, but also has hope that he'll come someday -not to save her, because this princess is independent and can fight her own dragons, but to show her kindness, patience, and understanding.
72, Groton, VTGreetings, I am just another single guy looking to share my life with another single woman who will help me in some way to be closer to my Eternal Father. A woman who needs a man who will share her life with me and together we can achieve our goals as man and woman. I like to travel by land, sea, air and even on foot. I like to share meals with family and friends and even if they stay over for breakfast. I love children and will spend time with them to have fun together. But most of all to find that special jewel stuck in life's time clock that would make our soul's burn with such love that nothing would ever separate our union. So go ahead and take that chance you will never know unless to do - - I'm the one - Thanks
33, Colchester, VTMy faith and my family are two of the most important things in my life. Both have guided and helped to shape who I am today. Ever since I converted two years ago, my life has deepened in ways I never dreamed possible. I want to find a long term relationship with someone who is devoted to God and his family. I have learned that when God is put in the center of a relationship, then it will grow and become stronger daily. I am passionate about finding the right man for me and settling down and having a family together. I am a loyal, trustworthy, caring, energetic, open minded person who seeks to share her love with another. In my spare time I like to read, attend bible study, ride my bike, walk on trails and plant flowers in my garden. I have two cats that keep me company as well.
24, Winooski, VTHey, I'm Eric and I'm originally from Massachusetts. I attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont where I graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. After a few short years, I decided that I did not want to leave the beautiful state of Vermont. I enjoyed the scenery and easy access to many mountains the most, but as well as all the personal and professional connections that I had made while in school. My faith life has played a huge role in my life, even more so while in school. I have met many of my friends through the local Newman center and they have helped me grow in my faith. I admit that without this connection, I probably would have fallen away from my faith in college.
34, South Burlington, VTIt is hard, at times, to truly express what someone is passionate about in a limited format. Passion is best expressed when you encounter someone and can see the visceral reaction that they have either to something they witness, or something they talk about. The voice raises. The eyes get wider. The attention span goes from multi-tasking to being locked onto the subject that they care about. I suppose, then, in that sense that the thing I am most passionate about would be History. I love my family, I love my friends, and I do enjoy them immensely, my life is rich with them in it, and I hope to expand on these two things in my future, but something I truly love, truly immerses me, would be the study and the subject of History. I like to imagine what it must have been like to travel the seas, at the whims of God and wind sailing into the unknown. What it must have felt like to don the heavy armor, and how hot it was inside as you look over a field knowing that someone on the other side feels the same apprehension as you do. Or how does one actually prepare a meal without the modern things we take for granted? Who was the first person that discovered wheat could be made into bread, or that when corn first popped over heat was not something crazy and scary but tasty? I do have a passion for many things. People, stories, jokes, sports, family. But the one thing that will lead me down a never-ending Google hole, and send me off into daydreams on end is History. I suppose I seek a partner, or someone to join me in both exploring such a thing, and perhaps writing our own someday. Maybe not world-famous, but everyone has history in their background. I hope that with the right woman, we can create our own. I'm an introvert at heart, and while I have no problems being social (I'm not one of those scary awkward people. Honest. Really), I find I need to recharge my batteries with periods of being alone. This allows for both an intellectual, and spiritual self-reflection. I try to live my life to be as good a person as I can be. I'm not always as "Catholic" as I should be, but I once heard (or read, something) that the measure of a man can be determined by how he treats women, children, and animals. Every day I endeavor to treat all three, as well as other men with as much respect and understanding as I can. I may have been taught theology, philosophy, and Latin by Jesuits, but all I hope to be known for is that I am a good man.
34, Burlington, VTHi Everyone, It's a little hard for me to meet single women in my age range who are practicing Catholics. I thought I'd give this site a try. I'm willing to meet if we hit it off.
61, St Johnsbury, VTabout me.... I am active, and enjoy concerts, dancing, theater, and the outdoors, biking, kayaking, reading, and traveling, to name a few. My family and friends are a huge part of my life. I stayed connected with the town I live in, volunteering in many ways. My job is fulfilling.
56, Burlington, VTOK here is the part that always gives me trouble as I am not sure what to write done, so here I go. I am a very easy going kind of guy that likes the simple things in life. I am at ease getting dressed up for a nice dinner out or just sitting at home in my jeans and a t-shirt watching TV with that special someone cuddled on the couch.
18, Richmond, VTMy name is Benjamin but everyone calls me Ben. I am not very good at talking about myself but I'll do my best. I am most passionate about composing music, programming games, drawing and painting, doing math, writing, and watching anime. I always put my friends and family first because I love being kind. I also love sarcasm and puns. I love kids and I spent much of my childhood with kids younger than me (cousins, neighbors, etc) in addition to my friends. I want to have at least 3 kids. I live for God but the one thing I want in my life for my own sake is to be married. I've wanted to be married ever since I was 2 years old and I saw how happy my parents were together. Everything else in my life I do to try to use the gifts God gave me to make the world better. (I will update my profile picture as soon as I take my senior picture in October)
