47, Virginia Beach, VAHey! How you doin'? ;) Thanks for checking me out. I'll do my best to give a brief synopsis here, but the best way to get to know me is to talk to me. I am deeply devoted to The One True Catholic Faith...but, if I'm honest, I wasn't always that way and took my faith for granted in my youth. I was blessed to be born into the Catholic Church and attended school where the sisters wore habits and wielded paddles (my father encouraged the sisters to use them liberally). However, there was a rebellious desire that rose up as I approached "adulthood," i.e., what I thought was adulthood...yada, yada, yada,...by the grace of God I experienced my 'prodigal son' moment and realized my need of repentance. That was late 2000 or early 2001 and it wasn't a miraculous, total and instantaneous change, but has been a long road with many challenges. I still have a long way to go, but have come a long way from the bartending/party-like-a-rockstar/Animal House lifestyle I once embraced. In 2005, I began attending daily mass and in 2007 I found the courage to attend a traditional latin mass, which is when I really began to deepen my knowledge and understanding of, and true devotion to, The Faith. In '08 or '09, the newly assigned pastor to my parish agreed to be my spiritual director and has helped me immensely since then. I learned to serve low mass, and do so often during the week, unless a change in the mass schedule or my work schedule prevents it. I posted some pictures of the pilgrimage to Italy I accompanied my spiritual director on in 2015 where I was privileged to serve mass in many beautiful churches throughout Italy. It was truly awe-inspiring and I treasure those memories. The only thing missing was a spouse who shares my passion and enthusiasm for the Catholic Faith, culture and traditions. In 2015, the property next to my parish became available, so I seized the opportunity and now I can walk to church in a little less than 200 steps (if I take the long way). I did the best I could to find duck-blind draperies that matched the camouflage pattern wall paper, but the house could still really use a woman's touch. Can you finish taming the beast? :)
55, Charlottesville, VAI'm a very peaceful person. Being with honest, uplifting/positive people is something I treasure. I was raised in a family where there was open, honest communication and a lot of love. I believe that people should should work out their differences, as they arise, and spend their time together with grace, love and harmony. I'm very open to all activities. I love to travel. One interesting note - my childhood dream was to be an astronaut. I love all things regarding space and science. I'm a big fan of Elon Musk! Me in a nutshell? I have a positive outlook on life and a caring spirit.
67, Alexandria, VAThank you for viewing my profile. Please know that I am praying for your success in your search -- perhaps you'll find it here. One thing is for sure: We're all in this together. I am positive, active, and happy with the simple things of life. I am loyal to people and to my commitments and pursuits. I try to be kind, gentle, and respectful to all of God's creatures, children especially. I have a serious, introspective side, but I appreciate and enjoy humor. I love a good, hearty laugh, and I can laugh at myself. I like to play and to be playful. I have been active for years in many church-related and other volunteer activities, and am strongly pro-life. My intellectual interests are many and varied -- art, literature (poetry, drama, history), math, science, computers, and mechanical things. I love to stroll through cities, old towns, woodlands, the outdoors, and art galleries. I realize that, having never been married, I am on the road less traveled, and you may be on a different road. Even so, I hope you will at least consider me for the journey ahead.

I also am an active member of a Paralympics Swimming Training Program with whom I swim weekly. In my younger days, I participated in track and field, and swimming where I competed nationally for several years. I have since retired from track and field. 25, Alexandria, VABorn and raised in Tennessee and a southern girl at heart. I'm easy going and love to laugh, (I am the typical middle child.) Family means the world to me and I cannot wait to one day have a family of my own. While I'm only 25, I'm definitely an old soul. My faith is a part of my daily life and helps me cope with the heartbreaks of my job as a pediatric cardiac icu nurse. There's nothing that driving with the windows down, wind in your hair, and a good playlist can't fix. I love DIY projects (think building furniture) and like many women, I'm slightly obsessed with Joanna Gaines and HGTV's Fixer Upper. On the other hand, on any given fall Saturday, you'll find me watching college football. Roll Tide! I wish to always live my life with this in mind, "She was able to do more because she loved more."- St. Gregory the Great, on St. Scholastica.
