56, Vienna, VAHi!. I look at life as chapters. Each chapter marking a period of my life. Some of the chapters have been easy, while others have been more challenging. I am starting a new chapter and look at it with excitement. I am forward focused! I love spending time with my daughter and know how precious that time is. I also love to spend time with friends and derive energy from that, but, as I grow older, I appreciate quiet time more and more. My career is important as it has allowed me to work with some brilliant and creative people. I have also gotten to travel and be a part of some amazing things! Skiing is one of my passions. It is one of the few things I do where I feel totally free! Being Catholic is definitely part of who I am, but it is not all of who I am. I value my faith and my ever developing relationship with God.
52, Roanoke, VAI am passionate about what life has to offer. I am an adventurous person. I enjoy the outdoors, aminals, social events, and going to the beach or lake. I enjoy golf. In my leisure time I enjoy long walks, exercising, listening to music, holding hands, giving and receiving spontaneous hugs.
30, Newport News, VAHi, I'm Matt. I've lived in the Hampton Roads area for about ten (10) years now. I attended Christopher Newport University and after graduating liked the area enough to stick around. I consider myself to be a spontaneous person and very outgoing. I am willing to try just about anything once. During my free time, I enjoy spending my time watching sports, playing golf, or hanging out with friends. I am very easy going. I am just as happy going and seeing a Broadway play or a ballet as I am watching Netflix at home on the couch. Music is definitely one of my passions. I listen to all types and love going to concerts. I also still enjoy playing music and even went to college as a music major initially. Helping people is something that has always been important to me in life. I am currently in the law enforcement field and find a great deal of pride in not only serving my community, but also helping people on a daily basis. That's about all I can think to say now. if you have any interest in further or questions, don't hesitate to ask.

53, Alexandria, VAYou know that guy who is the first on the dance floor or at the last minute gets a group of friends together to head out into town? That's me! I'm optimistic and positive by nature and in the bleakest of times I still find joy in the little things. I'm the youngest of 5 and my parents have been married for over 60years. I've been mobilized twice to the middle east and I'm a Navy Captain in the reserves. I'm patriotic and service oriented, still believe in the greatness of our country and still believe people of virtue and kindness are still out there. If you're into the Myers Brigg kinda personality type, I'm an ENFJ. So a negative, socialist-liberal type who doesn't smile probably would not make a good dance partner with me on dancing with the stars which by the way, I love to swing dance. Hmm, so what other damage can I inflict on my profile? Did I mention I think Bugs Bunny is kewl; Seinfeld ended too early; love travel and adventure; sailing or kayaking are favorite past times; and Disneyland is the happiest place on earth? If you were to ask me what my ideal third date (gotcha thinking, what would be my first two dates?) would be like, I would say slowly swaying together curled up in a hammock on a warm spring day while we talk about nothing as kids play in the background. Life is just too precious and good to go around unhappy, plus any day not in the dessert of the middle east is a fantastic day!

33, Charlottesville, VAHi, I'm Michael. I currently live in central VA and work in a couple of healthcare fields. Something I could do everyday without fatigue: converse with people about the beautiful relationships and experiences in their life; and talking about the ways that culture accentuates or hides these. Important daily activities: reading from my favorite theologians and saints; contemplation of some sort.
29, Richmond, VALoving and God fearing. I enjoy rock climbing, camping, volunteering and going to church on Sunday. Looking for someone who loves Lord Almighty foremost and values loyalty. "Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Lo, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord."

41, Virginia Beach, VAProfile picture?!?! Uff. I look like a dork in pictures. So I'll go ahead and post the one where I'm at an 80s music concert dressed like a "Material Girl". I'm a single mom to two hilarious little kids. I'm a beach bum, love to go out to restaurants and be social when it suits me. Other times I'm a bit of a homebody. I've got a few quirks- but as far as I'm concerned, they're all pretty hilarious. I'm crafty and artistic and a passionate seamstress. (Don't talk when the sewing machine is running). I'm close to my family and look forward to the time that I spend with them. I need sunshine and quiet to recharge. Having been in the restaurant biz for over twenty years I love a good meal and pretty much any beer you put in front of me. Backyard BBQs, swimming and good music make me happy:). When I love, I love big. I come from a long line of Irishmen with twisted senses of humor. Not everyone gets it. I'm a list maker and an analyzer (to a fault). I'm totally fine with the simple things in life. Put the music on- pour me a beverage and I'm happy just existing.
