27, Vienna, VAHello there! I am a committed Catholic and civil servant currently based in Washington, DC. I'm also a huge lover of travel, my family, and our Miniature Schnauzer, so outside of the office, you can find me spending time with family and friends, planning a trip to some far-flung destination, or playing with the dog. I'm pretty easygoing, although I also have an intense and competitive side. The stated choleric/melancholic personality profile for me is pretty accurate.
51, Manassas, VAHello! I imagine a lot of folks say "I've never done anything like this before." Having not dated much since 1999 (prior to getting married), I feel as if I've lost touch with how it is done. I do know that I didn't meet people on the internet back then. That said, my faith is important so I'd rather eliminate that variable by coming to a place where everyone else does too. Per my profile, I'm divorced. Nobody plans for this. I took my vows very seriously. I've heard that there was the person you were before a divorce, who you are during it, and who you become afterwards. I'm trying my hardest to make the best of the latter. I owe it to myself, my daughter, my loving family and close friends, and to my future partner (God willing). I'm caring and passionate about many things but can also be a bit of a live wire too. If I can find something to laugh about, I will! My humor can be a little edgy at times but not mean spirited. In fact, I surely poke more fun at myself than everyone else combined. I have no problem being in a party atmosphere but also enjoy quiet, one-on-one moments. I have strong values but also a bit of a wild streak. I love playing live music (guitar, vocals) and I'm very passionate about music. I appreciate many genres but you'll more often catch me rocking out. I love art as well. I did stained glass for a few years and plan on getting back to it. I also enjoy photography. I know the Catholic Faith reasonably well which surprises some folks based on aspects of my personality. I'm definitely a talker and I'm very inquisitive about the world around me. I've seen a lot of the latter (40+ countries) and I still enjoy meeting people from far off lands (or just a few towns over). My education is mixed between Liberal Arts and Engineering which I'm sure has helped in making me somewhat analytic and compassionate at the same time. Passions: Family, friends, animals, adventure, music, and art. Influential people: From Saints to rock stars! Influential experiences: The pure joy of being a father; working all over the world; having been "down for the count" yet surviving to fight another day. For fun: Day trips with my daughter and dogs, playing live music, concerts, travel, watching movies, visiting National Parks, historical sites and museums, playing games (pinball, retro arcade, trivia).
61, Fairfax Station, VAI am a widow who has healed...mostly. I have two wonderful children who are vey successful and grown. I still talk to them both on most days. I have always had a very strong faith until my wife got seriously sick. My faith was shaken but not destroyed. I would say I am in the challenging phase. I am at the point in y life where I am at least thinking about retirement. I know in order to be successful in that goal I will need a playmate, I am funny, secure and a good catch I think.
33, Falls Church, VAIntroduce myself...a fairly open ended box to fill in here. I'm passionate about my sports teams, specifically: soccer (playing and watching), college basketball, and college football. I love music and going to shows for bands I'm into. Love to eat and I am no slouch in the kitchen myself. I'm also fairly passionate about craft beer. I'm slightly introverted and am comfortable spending time by myself, sometimes even look forward to it when I've been busy. That being said I enjoy getting together and spending time with friends whether it's just hanging out or actively doing something. I think that's something I value more and more as I get older.
23, Springfield, VAGod and my family are two of the most important things in my life. I've attended several retreats, I go to Mass every Sunday, and frequently volunteer at my parish and in my community. The last retreat I went on was a silent Lenten weekend retreat out in West Virginia - it was a beautiful and peaceful experience! I love spending time with my family, whether we're riding roller coasters at Busch Gardens, playing music together (I've played the violin since I was six), watching a movie in the evening, playing card games (I've been taking a stab at learning Bridge), or just hanging out and talking. Since graduating from college dining halls, I've found a love for cooking. One of my sisters (I'm the oldest of four girls) gave me a southern Italian cookbook for Christmas and I've been enjoying making (and modifying) the recipes. My favorites so far are a pizza made from scratch and a chocolate malt pie. I love reading and writing. I mostly read fiction (especially Shakespeare plays); I also enjoy (auto)biographies. I write fiction and poetry, and one of my goals is to publish a novel. I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), then transferred to the University of Virginia (UVA) to complete my B.S. degree in EE. At UVA, I was active in the Catholic Student Ministry, and joined one of the scripture study groups. I also participated in the Shakespeare theater group. I'm not an actress, so I helped with the sound effects - playing the rain drum in King Lear. Recently, in my free time (I have a full time job in my field), I spend time with my family and am active in young adult events with the Arlington Diocese.

I like traveling to beautiful beaches and reefs to snorkel or dive .I also enjoy bike riding as well as motorcycles. I love trying new restaurants and new dishes. I am spontaneous and try new things as much as possible. Life is too short to sit still!
50, Portsmouth, VAHi, my name Tim!!! I grew up in NE and have been a Catholic since day one. I have three beautiful daughters ages 13, 10, and 7. I am in there lives constantly. I am their spiritual and religious leader in their lives. I have been divorced for several years now. I work in the finance industry and have all my life(25 yrs). I'm looking for a very compatible lady to spend time with and perhaps more as we get to now one another. I go to Mass weekly and just love the feeling you get when you know the Highest Power is in control of our lives. I have been married in the Church once and married once outside the Church. I both instances, there was a definite lack of religious beliefs between the two of us. So, being in tune with the Catholic faith is important to me. Not that I am religious or what you may call it. But, I must have a partner who feels or believe that it is important to have a Catholic faith. If you want to know more, just ask!!!
55, Colonial Beach, VAI am here looking to meet a lady that shares my Catholic beliefs. My work now has me living in Virginia due to the governments military sequestration. So I now call three states (Va,Pa,Fl) home and travel between them throughout the year. I am no weekend couch potato and prefer keeping busy. I have a few ongoing projects like finishing an addition to my PA home. I also like wood working and have built things for friends, coworkers and for the Virginia Renaissance fair last year. I enjoy reading, walks, bicycling, kayaking, fishing, gardening and other outdoor activities. I look forward to finding you.
