  • Kirsten, 52 from Alexandria, VA
    52, Alexandria, VA
I grew up in Virginia, near Washington, D.C.. I enjoy taking long outdoor walks or hiking, especially in the woods or on a beach or, in bad weather, hopping on a treadmill. I enjoy swimming too and love the ocean. Lately I have taken up horse riding again. Alexandria is a convenient and great place to live, but eventually, I would like a house in a more rural area and have a dog. I am a pretty good cook, and if we hit it off, maybe you will be tasting some cuisine from my kitchen.
  • Travis, 29 from Suffolk, VA
    29, Suffolk, VA
I'm currently a PhD student at the University of North Dakota studying atmospheric sciences, on track to graduate in May 2018. I spend summers in Hampton, VA at NASA Langley working as an intern while I complete my degree, and hope to be hired for a permanent position after graduation. I'm originally from Pennsylvania where I graduated from Millersville University as a meteorology major. I enjoy talking about almost anything, except for sports...never really was into it. I am, however, a big Phillies fan...I really enjoy following baseball. I don't mind playing soccer, tennis, or going bowling. I like going to the movies, playing video games, playing games, trivia, or just hanging out. I love talking about and studying religion, especially the Catholic Church. I'm into apologetics and debating other faiths with the Catholic faith. I also enjoy politics, weather, and working out.
  • Liz, 57 from Seaford, VA
    57, Seaford, VA
I am passionate about my faith- I love the beauty and the depth of the Catholic Church. I am grateful for it's guidance and, of course, the sacraments. I am passionate about my family, especially my kids. I am passionate about pro-life issues; putting an end to abortion and ministering to women in crisis and their children. The people that have been the most influential in my life are my kids, especially my daughters. It's kind of backwards, but they are great role models for me. One thing I love to do right now is swimming. I'm not sure if it's a passion or an addiction :) I love going to concerts, especially contemporary Christian music. I actually like all kinds of live entertainment; music, plays, dance, comedy, etc. I also like going to sporting events, especially football and auto racing. Some other things I enjoy; going to the beach, amusement parks and roller coasters, dancing, boating, motorcycle rides, hiking in the mountains, bicycling, traveling, playing cards, board games, watching movies, and reading.

I am a healthy, active woman looking for the same in my partner.I am looking for some one to develop a friendship with and hopefully a life-long relationship that would lead to marriage. I am not in a hurry to marry but definitely desire the fullness of a committed relationship. Family is extremely important to me. I have a big one. I have deep faith and know that my partner must be someone who is a strong Christian man. I am a nurse and have a good work ethic. I believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. I count my blessings everyday and try to show my appreciation by giving back as often as I can. I enjoy many things. Most recently I have taken up ballroom dancing. I try to go dancing as often as I can. I am an avid swimmer and enjoy most anything around the water. I enjoy Yoga, gardening, most any kind of music, long walks, skiing- water and snow, horseback riding, concerts, movies. the theater and museums. I love history and travel and a good book. Thanks for reading my profile. If I sound like someone you may be interested in, drop me an e-mail. If not, good luck in your search.

  • Clarissa, 40 from Falls Church, VA
    40, Falls Church, VA
I'm pretty easy going. I love to laugh, I enjoy watching movies, and going to baseball games. Go Nats! I like adventure ... sometimes, but I also like staying home and cuddling up with a nice blanket and watching a movie. I'm a total romantic. Most of my friends are younger than me, so I'm very young at heart. I feel that life is an adventure and you must take chances, have fun, and enjoy it while it lasts. I have a bit of a rebellious side. I like motorcycles, fast cars, and tattoos. It's ok if you don't. I don't know how to swim or ride a bicycle. I love the country, nature, and all that God has created. I love our Catholic faith most of all and all its traditions. The Lord and my relationship with Him is first and foremost in my life. I'm honest, loving, and loyal.

  • Ian, 21 from McLean, VA
    21, McLean, VA
My name is Ian and I'm a 21 year old college student and a hopeless romantic. I am based in Northern Virginia and go to Christendom College in the school year. I'm a little older than my classmates because I took time off between high school and college to get some work experience, save some money, and figure out what I really want to do. I'm very family oriented and I want a family of my own someday. I love helping others and volunteering with church and community groups. Travel is another thing I love. My parents were in the Army and I was born in Europe and have been blessed to visit there a few times. I also have seen much of our own country, both because I used to live in New England and because my family usually travels to a different part of the US each summer. I also love nature and spending time outdoors. Christendom College's location in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley was a major selling point! I love hiking, camping, and exploring the beauty of nature. I'm a beginner when it comes to fishing, but I'm ready to learn! For entertainment, I like to do lots of things. I love dancing, especially with groups of friends and family. I'm definitely a "dance like nobody is watching" kind of guy, and I'm not shy about getting out on the floor first. Why waste a good song and a chance to have fun just because someone might laugh? Life is too short to pass up opportunities to enjoy yourself. I also love movies, landscape/nature photography, and music (everything from pop music/rock to opera/musicals), museums, and almost anything that involves exploring new things. I like studying history in school, and I love learning about historic places and things. I'm not a sports nut, but I enjoy watching and playing in good games. Like my family, I'm a Boston sports fan (even though that doesn't exactly fit in down in Virginia!) As you can tell, I have lots of interests and sharing them is my idea of a wonderful time (and that includes sharing someone else's interests that I haven't learned about yet). I also love to share my sense of humor, which sometimes gets me in trouble for telling corny jokes (a favorite: What did the fish say when he got caught in the seaweed? KELP!).

  • Bobbie, 43 from Alexandria, VA
    43, Alexandria, VA
As entertaining as work can be, I look forward to the weekend to unwind, relax and get outside. Travel for work and for personal enjoyment affords me the opportunity to experience other cultures and truly appreciate all the great things available right here in the USA. My goal is to get to every national park, which is long list, but I am working my way though it! I love to laugh and like to try and make others laugh as well. Without a sense of humor, I am not sure how I would make it through the day.
