58, Bristow, VAA lover of life and God! One who always looks for the best in everyone! If you happen to view this profile, I wish you the best in life. Life is too short for discontent. Try to be happy all of the time. It doesn't matter what other's think, your life is your own. What is the soundtrack of your life? Mine? Classical, country rock, classic rock, you name it, I like them all! I've been playing in bands for most of my life. Music is, after all, the essence of both life and love. I like to reflect a lot, on my past. I like to think of how things could have been different; somehow better, had I chosen a different path in life. But would they really? Maybe Such metaphysical thoughts are best left for quiet moments with someone whom I'm looking for to spend time with. If I had to sum it all up in just a few words, I'd say Ecclesiastes 3 does a fantastic job. There is a time for everything. And you know? I sure wouldnt mind finding the right person to spend the time which makes up our lives together. What would we do? Oh, I dont know I suppose we'd have common likes and dislikes, but then, there would be some things which would be new to the both of us. I like to learn. I'm open to anything. If you want the reins, if you want to call the shots, I won't stand in your way. Just as I would hope you would be open to new experiences that I'd like to share with you. I tell myself, life is so short, and eternity is sooooo long! I'm a firm believer that the life we lead while on this earth carries on for us after we say goodbye to those we love, and go home. True life carries on. We begin to really live! Why not create a little bit of eternity here on earth? Or, as it is more commonly stated, a little heaven on earth. Take from each moment something new to enhance your life. That's what I always tell myself. My wish is to find someone to share lifes experiences with; every moment of life. Like all guys, I like sports. I watch little TV. I make exceptions for football, movies, the news, and channels like the History Channel. I enjoy the occasional beer. I like pizza and beer. Though not as much as I used to. I am well read. I enjoy reading. I enjoy all types of music, but perform in a band that plays mostly classic rock. You know, I could write a lot of likes and dislikes, but maybe that would be better left to when we meet. I would love to hear from you soon
61, Charlottesville, VAWho am I? Good question. I'm a woman filled with love for God looking for someone to spend the twilight years with. I have experienced much in my life already...ups and downs...as many of us do. I like to remember the ups and not worry about the downs. It is the downs that have strengthened me though so I am thankful for them. I wasn't always a practicing Catholic but am so thankful that God never left my side and brought me back so many years ago. It's hard to talk about oneself in this way, but would love to talk and share my past life experiences with you and God willing make new ones together.

57, Falls Church, VAAs a mother of thee boys, I have been committed to their well-being. My youngest is graduating from high school this year and starting college in August. Though I will miss seeing him every day and my daily "mom duties", I look forward to having more free time. Social justice is very important to me, and I plan to become re-involved with my church's social justice group. I also look forward to catching up on reading, focusing more on my school board duties, learning to speak Italian, and having some outdoor fun, including playing tennis again and learning to kayak and fly fish. My interest in education has led me to a Master's Degree in special education and a seat on my local school board. My school board and teaching experience helped me see there is much to be done in the way of our country's education system. My long term goal is to combine my education experience with my law degree, in what capacity I am not quite certain, so as to contribute to education on a larger scale. I am family-oriented, and I love spending time with my sons and their friends, with my extended family, and with my friends. Most of my family lives in Pennsylvania, which is where I am from, and I will always have a soft spot for this state. Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Yuengling, cheese steaks and Utz potato chips are a few of my favorite Pennsylvania things :) I enjoy a good show and dining out once in a while, but I prefer to be active and outdoors. Though, when I find myself with a bit of free time, I like to cook and bake as I find the creative process relaxes me. Being Catholic is very important to me. Though I don't always make it to Mass each week, I pray daily and lean on the Lord in both good times and bad.
22, Dugspur, VAJ.M.J Hello my name is Patrick, and the Faith is the most important thing in my life. I live in the mountains of South Western V.A. but go to church in N.C. I have finished up my associates degree from Wytheville Community College and plan to join the United States Marine Corps after I get my bachelor's degree. I like art, good music, animated films and a good story. I come from a large Catholic family and love my faith. I'm not a saint, but I do want to do God's will. The Pro-Life cause is very important to me. I believe that life is sacred from the first moment of conception to the last moment of natural death and have attended the March for Life the past few years. I have made my consecration as a slave to the Blessed Mother and am a member of the Militia of the Immaculata.
55, Charlottesville, VAI am thankful to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on God's earth, Charlottesville, VA. I love to stay busy, but I also enjoy just being at home. In my free time, I attend yoga classes (any day with yoga is a great day) and walk my dog in local parks and trails. Spending time cooking and entertaining are passions, but it's not fun to cook just for one. Some of my other interests include hiking, camping, art, theater, any UVA game (Wahoowa!) and music. I spent years volunteering at my church's youth ministry program, and as a Boy Scout Leader (yes, I camped with the troop often). Unfortunately, my previous job situation and weekly travel demands, prevented me from volunteering, but things have changed and I'm eager to share my gifts with my community.
