I am a man with a strong faith in Christ and feel that HE will find the right woman for me. I know we put our faith in his hands but sometimes he leads us where we need to go to find what we seek in life. I am an outgoing man with good family values. I like to take things at a natural pace when getting involved. IT is better to become good friends and closer over a period of time and not feel that anything is rushed.

Hey, there! I was an english major in college and I wish I could use those skills efficiently here, but I don't know about that...haha So lets see...my favorite things to do are to hike, camp, go to concerts, hit the beach, grill, and hang out with family and friends! I'm trying to get more into rock climbing, but so far my healthy fear of heights has gotten the better of me. A lot of people tell me I'm funny but I'll let you be the one to decide! I'm still looking to travel around the world a lot. My family (I'm one of four kids) and my friends are extremely important to me and my favorite moments are always when I'm always spending with them. Shoot me a message to find out more about me! I'd love to hear more about you!

It has been a long time since I did something on this site so I will be updating it with pictures soon. I love the church more than anything in the world. When I am not right with God I get out of sorts. Finding his way is my greatest wish.

I love to travel and enjoy history. I don't think there is one place that I have visited that didn't hold something interesting for me. When I travel, I like to have as "local" an experience as possible.

A life-long Episcopalian who went to a church school for thirteen years, I had been thinking about becoming a Catholic for a long time as God is very important in my life and I truly believed in the Church Universal. After Pope Francis became the Holy Father, I decided to take the next step in my spiritual journey - I went through RCIA and joined the Catholic Church over 2 years ago. I am active in my parish and enjoy the fellowship of other Catholics. As a community college biology professor who teaches allied health students, I I work hard with my students as they will be going into medical fields. Outside of teaching, animals are a major interest of mine, especially working with dogs. I have been active in dog rescue and also training service dogs. The dogs are a big stress reliever from the duties at the college because they just live in the moment. Funny for a girl, but since I have no brothers I grew up working with my Dad on model trains. I still run a train layout especially at Christmas. That turns a lot of heads when I got into a hobby store! I like trains in general and just got to see and ride behind the restored NW J Class 611. I really detest shopping - fortunately for me I can get most everything I need online these day. But I will stop for fabric stores and yarn shops as making quilted clothing and knitting are hobbies of mine - I like the creativity. My newest adventure is raising heritage breed chickens for eggs since the city where I live in VA now allows it. I have 6 pullet hens and have been fascinated by their antics as they grow up. Having chickens has definitely made me more conscious about where my food comes from. I also am more committed to the Church's role in protecting the ecology of our planet. I belong to several organizations in my area, but would like to meet someone with a few common interests to join me in having some fun and doing something new. I like going to concerts, talks, baseball games, as well as lunches or dinners to discuss ideas and world events. There are also many great things to see for free in my area!

I'm the women everyone loves ; ) Sweet. Funny. Honest. Loyal. Compassionate. Caring. I am The virtuous woman waiting on my boaz. I will not settle for less! If you don't know the story of Boaz and Ruth, you need not to apply. I'm a bit of a health nut and believe you should take good care of your body. After all we only get one. Being healthy for me is a lifestyle. I don't eat the same as most people, I'm a pescatarian. Although I eat healthy I'm a foodie at heart. ***I'm waiting on someone who is God-fearing. I see some people don't understand the term "God fearing Man". Which means someone who has a relationship with God by praying and reading the bible, attending church, and trying to consistently better yourself spiritually, mentally, physically, etc. I would like to meet someone who is also Humble, patient, romantic, funny, and family oriented. A man has got to love God more than he loves hisself, me, or anything else. *** With that said you have to like children and be a great role model. I'd rather get to know someone first as a friend to build a foundation. Then if we happen to still like each other then great. Just a few Deal breakers..so please don't contact me if you fall under one of these. You don't understand what a God fearing man is. You curse like a sailor No morals Conversation is dead No future goals Too many kids You do drugs Smoke or drink too much Just to name a few. Other than that happy fishing.

I am a mom to a wonderful four year old little boy in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I attend the same church that I have been part of since I was baptized there as a baby, and I was married there to my first husband. He lost his battle with cancer earlier this year and we celebrated his funeral Mass at that same church as well. My faith is a very important part to my life, and something that guides many of my decisions. I am an active person, having lost 150 pounds on my own from my heaviest weight (back at the end of my college days). I participate in a cross-fit style gym program that has helped me achieve many fitness goals. I love going to the gym and getting my sweat on with my friends at 5am every weekday. I also recently joined an adult kickball league and play once a week. I love kickball and am so glad I got involved with team sports again. I enjoy an active lifestyle and engaging in new adventures (like the Adventure Park in Virginia Beach or Busch Gardens in Williamsburg). I am a teacher at a small, local, private school. I love what I do (teaching both computers and PE for 1st through 8th grade). I have been working there for 4 years, after having worked at a local public school for six years as a general education teacher. I am working on earning my second master's degree (this one is in psychology) in hopes to eventually teach psychology at the local community college.
