46, Arlington, VAI was reared in a traditional rural New England town where my parents taught my brothers and I the values of family, faith and loyalty. Our Catholic faith inspired us to set noble christian goals and achieve them whether it be education, family outreach or public service. Ever since my teen years I've wanted to serve my family, community and country in a meaningful way. After graduate school, the military seemed like the best road to travel upon. And the road has been long with many blind curves and hairpin turns including several deployments during two wars. I'm proud to serve my country and don't regret one day of it. My journeys have taken me to far off lands where my exposure to ancient cultures has strengthened my appreciation of western traditions and their crucial place in the world. Church is of great importance to me and I adhere to the traditional teachings and liturgy of the faith.
53, Arlington, VAI am a serious Catholic living in the Washington DC area. I do financial work. I have a house in Rosslyn, Virginia near Georgetown. I like to read, take walks, and travel when not on business. Unfortunately, I do a lot of business travel. I would like to meet someone in the Washington DC area.
56, Fairfax, VAI have lived in the Northern Virginia area most of my life, my family and friends are all here and I have a strong social network that I am involved in regularly. I have a small healthcare business in the DC area. I also love to build and restore/remodel houses. I can be impulsive, spontaneous and like to be on the go most of the time. I am often finding new places to travel and explore in and around this area. I have four children and although they don't live with me full time, I am very involved in their lives as many days and nights a week as I can. I am also a big sports fan and have followed the Redskins since I was a child. I travel to Rehoboth several times each summer. Dining out and movies are a favorite pastime.
35, Springfield, VA+JMJ+ - I'll be under Mary's mantle if you need me. "Jesus Christ is everything!" - Blessed greetings. The most fundamental thing about me from which everything else follows is that I am Catholic. I love the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and other heavenly things. I have a thing for theology, philosophy, grammar, and technology among other things. I thoroughly enjoy conversations that engage the heart, mind, and soul. I am a defender and promoter of chastity, modesty, and all that is beautiful, good, and true that are from God and are of Him. Tendencies to be playful and with a desire to stir up joy in others by causing them to either laugh or smile may muddle things up a bit when it comes to my dominant temperament but that's okay. I just chalk this idiosyncrasy to a desire to be all things to all people so that God may use me to save some as St. Paul expressed.
28, Virginia Beach, VAI'm a Filipino young adult. I was born and raised catholic, but I didn't fall in love with my faith until college. I may not be the perfect catholic, but I try to strive for holiness even if it's hard to do that in this world. Never give up right? Other than the love of my faith, I am an introverted extrovert if that makes any sense. I love going on spontaneous adventures and travel, but at the same time, I enjoy "me" time or quiet time in between.
42, Alexandria, VAWriting a quick synopsis of me, who I am, is not a doable task. I could list off my likes and dislikes, my hobbies and the such, but it rings of disingenuousness. Instead I must ask for that extra effort to get to know me without a preamble.
33, Virginia Beach, VAI consider myself a pretty simple person. When it comes to dress I prefer to dress comfortably, but on special occasions I know how to impress. I don't need to be rich, but I will give all I have within me to strive to provide the best for my family. I'm old fashioned when it comes to the woman I'm with..I say woman not women because I'm a one woman guy!! I'm a God fearing man..my faith is a huge part of my life. I don't let things get the best of me, I just go with the flow. I'm a very loyal person. My friends and family mean everything to me, and I wouldn't be who I am today without them. I'm shy at first, but once I get comfortable I'm fun to be around (I'm kind of a goof ball, but can be serious when need be). I'm really into fitness. I love doing cross-fit, even though it kicks my butt sometimes...ok most of the time...lol!!
30, Alexandria, VAI moved to Alexandria a little over a year ago for grad school in DC, but I'm originally from South Florida. Been wanting to pursue a career change toward the LE/national security field, but at the moment I work as a project estimator. My faith has always remained important to me and it's shaped most of my life decisions. I really enjoy foreign languages, having studied Russian, German, Latin and Greek. I am also an occasional firearms instructor and enthusiast and enjoy going shooting at the range. I have a 2 year old German Shepherd puppy who is always causing mischief. I generally prefer conversation to writing a bio, so feel free to shoot me a message.
30, Richmond, VAMy name is Patrick im 28 years old.I'm shy when I first meet someone. I open up when I get to know them. I never been on a date. I like going to the movies. I'm kind , happy most of the time. If you got any questions ask me.
31, Staunton, VAI am quirky, thoughtful, musical, and a loyal friend. You might call me old fashioned, even!. At the same time, I'm always down for spontaneous adventures and road trips. I love being with my friends in whom I find consolation, humor, great theological conversation, and wholesome camaraderie. I have gotten back into boardgames recently and have piles of religious, literary, pedagogical, fictional, and various other books that need to be read but haven't.
53, Front Royal, VAI'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.
