I was born and bred a Catholic for the first 18 years of my life. Although I went on a different path and did not attend service or live a complete life of Catholicism for the last part of my life, I am now making a change back to the faith. I am just a normal guy that works hard, but plays harder. I would like to think that there is someone out there for everyone, and I guess in the information age I should use all avenues to get there. Happy hunting and I wish everyone the best.

Liked to dance(swing and zydeco). Two kids(33, 29). Two grand kids, the best(10, 7). Work full time, good income. Looking for a committed partner.

Here's a whirlwind look at me: I'm Catholic (unapologetically), a woman, a mom (with three young adults that are doing the independence "dance"), a.k.a. the Energizer Bunny ( I keep going and going and going), a children's librarian (I'm not afraid of sticky fingers or Dr. Seuss), a vegetarian (though I sometimes eat seafood and I don't just graze on the side of the road!), active exerciser (I'm not fast, but I'm steady), a reader (a rainy day, a good book, a roaring fire--Yay!), a gardener (digging in the dirt and watching things grow is fun), a cook (I've been told I make "killer" cookies and while we're talking food--have you ever had homemade pasta?!), and a traveler (so long as I have home to come back to). I love mysteries, because I like to figure things out; I love biographies, because I enjoy finding out how other people have journeyed through life; I'm into Brit-coms and Brit-drams; I love literature, because I like all the different ways that writers can express situations. I've backpacked throughout Europe and driven cross country. I look forward to more travels; I love trains and planes, though I'm also comfortable hiking and biking, as well as walking. I love the theater (Shakespeare to Broadway), concerts (classical music to rock), and museums (ancient ruins to modern art, though I'm partial to Renaissance and Impressionist artists). I love to take pictures and listen to my cat purr (though my Golden Retriever is fond of competing for my attention...). I enjoy going to the movies (or stopping by the Goodwill for a cheap treasure to watch)--comedies, dramas, romances, even action! I'm a browser, a locator of treasures in thrift shops and garage sales (and a transformer--a bit of paint or some elbow grease can work wonders). I'm comfortable barefoot & in overalls or all dressed up with someplace to go. I love the wind on my face, crunchy autumn leaves beneath my feet, and first snows. Most of all, I'm an optimist and a survivor; when bad things happen in my life, I get knocked down but I dust myself off and get right back up again (Laughter is wonderful medicine). I believe God has a plan for every life and He's only showing me enough light for my next step. I suspect there are plenty of things(maybe people or places?) still to be discovered in my life and I'm looking forward to finding out what (or who) they are :-)

I am very blessed to have such a rich life that includes family, friends, good health, a great job and a full life. I am on a good path and working on myself and my faith life. I love meeting new people and enjoying life. I haven't dated much but would like to. I enjoy being with friends having a nice glass of wine on a Friday evening or going for a walk and talking about the week. I like movies, shopping, cars, reading, cooking, going on adventures, exploring new places. I am not very athletic but like to watch some sports. I love exploring Seattle and finding new places I have never been to!

First off, "Hi", thanks for viewing my profile. I'm a proud father of a 7 year old, well mannered, little girl. She attends Catholic School. Some say I'm a study in opposites. A third degree black belt who also has a favorite poet (Yates). An entrepreneur and a corporate guy (I own a successful business of 16 years and choose to hold down a 9-5). I play on two competitive tennis teams and have delivered babies and saved lives (I am a Registered Nurse). I am active in my community with a particular passion for early childhood education. I've had the opportunity to serve on three different boards for organizations with this focus. I believe in making the world a better place, not just for my daughter--but for all. I have broad tastes in music, but if certain 80's bands are in town, you better be sure I'm getting us some primo tickets. In my off time you might find me with my friends, teaching kids chess, a community event, or rooting on the Seahawks (games at the C-link are the best). I love to laugh, and when I like someone (platonic or not) I can always find a way to make them laugh. That is a personality trait I get complimented on most, that and my broad shoulders (but that's not really a personality haha). What I am looking for is a genuine, down to earth woman who has a core set of values. Has an idea of what a healthier lifestyle is. A girl-next-door type who also has a bit of street smarts and a lot of common sense. Can I comfortably introduce you to my board members at a holiday party and then have fun hanging out at a local pub? If you don't drink, that is fine! I am not extremely fond of drinking, don't go out of my way to do it, but social drinking is ok, and no smoking (Although full disclosure. On a very rare occasion--once a year--I may have a cigar, but again, I can easily give that up). Lastly, although I described my body type as Average, because I had to check "a box", I am a very athletic individual. I can play 4 hours of competitive tennis and still have energy for the rest of the day. If it sounds like we might click, send me a message.

Hi, I love being Catholic! I'm so grateful that my parents passed on their gift of faith to me. Although I was poorly catechized, as many of my generation were, I really enjoy learning about my Catholic faith from Catholic radio, EWTN, books, and most recently, Formed.org. (Ask your pastor to get a parish subscription if he hasn't already!) I enjoy thought-provoking conversation and would rather share an experience with someone than receive gifts/things. I love spending time with friends and talking about issues that matter. I appreciate that my friends challenge me to be a better person, and lead me closer to God. I personally feel that if a friendship does not lead one closer to God or challenge one to be a better version of oneself, it is a shallow relationship. I love to dance and could dance all night. I have to admit that when it comes to outdoor activities, I prefer doing them in warm or hot weather, such as walking, biking, hiking, and swimming. I also enjoy kayaking. I haven't done it very much, but really love the challenge of it. I was raised in San Jose, CA, and mostly attended public school, with only 7th and 8th grade at a Catholic school. I enjoy singing, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music/Voice. I can also play piano when I practice! I have two children. One is 20 and lives out-of-state, and the other is 17 and lives with me. A peculiarity of mine is that I really love speaking in different dialects - mainly British, and I often do at work! Thankfully none of my colleagues give me away! Hahaha! If you share some of my interests, then perhaps we can begin a conversation. Oh, and guys? Please post your picture! Thanks!

Hi, my name is Johnny and according to the prompt I will briefly post that God, religion, mathematics, and athletics are areas of interest. The many influences in mylife are too many to touch down on in this introduction, but currently I enjoy Ravi Zacharis. The intellectual cogency and rigor he brings to the brilliant defense of Christianity is attractive. In my leisure time I throughly enjoy competitive basketball leagues or tournaments and also enjoy officiating basketball games.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am a driven individual with a passion for what I do, winemkaing. Am outgoing, honest, funny and loyal. I love to learn new things. My family is my foundation, and my friends mean the world to me. Am looking for someone who is genuine and makes me laugh. One who has goals, motivations, is energetic, respectful, and loves to travel. I started making wine at the age of 20 in CA, earned a degree in the subject, have traveled to South America to work in wine, and am now in WA state. Wine is more than a job, it is a lifestyle. One that involves a lot of hard work, but a lot of reward. My favorite thing about wine is the culture. It has taken me so many places where I have met so many good people, and have been allowed to share in their culture and family. Some of my favorites things include cooking. I enjoy making meals to share with my family and friends. I am a huge football fan, and go to a few professional games a year. I have a 1 year old springier spaniel named Dusty who keeps my busy with walks in the park, Frisbee, catch, and swimming! I like to read books on rainy days, have coffee and shop with my girlfriends, and attend BBQ's with my neighbors. Occasionally I will attend the theater and ballet. I enjoy nice dinners out, and cozy nights in. I have been fishing in Alaska and Mexico, and can't wait to go again! The water is very important to me, and I love being on a boat.

1 Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things." My childhood wasn't the best and paled in comparison to the rest, but it did provide me with the skills and strength needed to become the compassionate family oriented man that I am. In my rebellious youth, I failed to see what was just described and I turned away from my faith, only to return when I hit rock bottom almost a decade ago. Upon my return, I was blessed with an opportunity to seize my childhood dream job, and have been enjoying these past 6 years honing in on my career path at Nintendo. Now that I have my career and am working on getting my finances in order, I would like to work on what I consider to be the most essential part of my life... My own family... That's pretty much why I am here... I would like to find someone with the right foundation for a successful future. One built with our best friend (in spirit), savior at the core of it all... I mean... He is after all, the reason we got together... He technically... Kinda... Well, really... If you think about in from this perspective... HE was our matchmaker... So, this will be like a match made in heaven... Ha!
