I'm the oldest of five in a close knit family. Being a Good Dad is the most important thing in my life but now that my daughter is grown and morphed into being my best friend I'm hoping to find someone to share my life and challenge me. I love sports, politics, economics and the meaning of life -- why are we are here, is it random chance? Help me challenge me and grow together.

I am me. I enjoy most things in life, though if you just met me and try to get that sort of information from me you'll get a LOT of single word answers. My default hobby in my spare time is playing video games but I will go out with friends, go camping, and have a good time where good times are to be had. There's my introductory blurb. Short and simple. No need to make life unnecessarily complicated. This year I returned to Youth Ministry after a seven year or so break and have relearned how fun working with youth can be. Aside from Mass it has become a highlight of my week.

I've tried the online dating scene before but not one for my own faith. I'm excited to try this. I enjoy being with my two kids and watching them turn in to the young men I want them to become. I also enjoy my occupation which is teaching. I look forward to molding young minds and facing them in the right direction.

My name is Jeffrey and I am from the small rural town of Oakesdale, WA which is about half way between Pullman and Spokane. I am recently just graduated from EWU with a Bachelors in Education. I am currently in my first year of full time 6th grade teacher at St. Charles Catholic School. I am very passionate about my job as teacher and I love the fact that I get to teach all subjects including the faith on daily basis. Probably the most influential experience that has impacted my life was my conversion to the Catholic faith. I was raised in a Presbyterian church but when I came to college I wanted to rediscover my family's long forgotten connection to the Catholic faith and in doing so my eyes were opened to what I had been missing in my faith all along, the Eucharist. Ever since then I have fallen in love with the sacrament and the depth of Catholic traditions and history. My leisure time is usually spent with my Catholic friends on campus at the Newman Center or at my house with my room mates. I also enjoy reading books regarding Catholicism, history or anything I can get my hands on. When I am with family or friends I usually prefer going to the movies, out to eat or something engaging. I really enjoy having in depth conversations with another person, no matter what the topic might be and besides talking in depth I very much enjoy a conversation when humor is injected. I am a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine in the world and I personally love to laugh and be funny.

What am I passionate about? Life, people, relationships, the beauty of God's Creation. I am a social worker by profession, and most recently God has called me to cargiving in my public and private life. I am glad for this opportunity because I believe that this will prepare me to have a family of my own. What I look forward to the most is living each day to the fullest, and to bring joy to others. What experiences and or people that have been most influential to me would be my sister who always taught that God is Love, and to Trust in Jesus. Mother Theresa has also made a profound influence on my life... When I was a child I used to fantasize about working in the Peace Corps in Africa, rather I now try apply small or large works of charity for all people in every area of my life. In my leisure time I enjoy visiting with family and friends, walking my dog, making home made gifts (crocheting, sewing, making jewelery) and baking. I also like to study forigen languages as well as brush up on my social work techniques.

I'm passionate about the Lord, and the mystery of faith, life in general! I read and pray daily, and I look forward most to gatherings with family and friends. The most influential people in my life have been my community: my family, my pastors, my coaches and my 2 boys. In my leisure time I enjoy doing things I usually don't have time to do; catch up with friends, or doin' what she likes. Dancing and fly fishing are two on my list.

Who am I? I am a self-sufficient mother of two beautiful young ladies. I am gainfully employed as a nurse with prior military experience. I am close to my family, which, in true Catholic tradition consists of many siblings. I have no interest in casual hook-ups, games or drama. I'm not great at the written word, other than reading it, so I'm having my friends help me write this profile. However, I do find quick wit, humor, and sarcasm a few of my favorite mediums. The love of my life needs to be able to laugh with me, at me, and at himself. Who are you? You are looking for long term love. Your time is too important to you to waste on hook-ups or staying in a negative situation. You value family, friendships, and love learning. You want a woman who makes you laugh, who makes you crazy with passion, and who you cannot believe youve made it this far without. You are someone who understands that life is full of twists and turns, but you can improvise, adapt and overcome. I love being outdoors, whether its hiking, going for a walk, kayaking, or...I enjoy home improvement projects, gardening, or anything to do with being on or near water. I am happy to go out, but I also relish passionate evenings at home, or snuggling on the couch watching a favorite show or movie.

It's a bit of a cliche, but i'm a big fan of travelling! I recently fulfilled my dream of backpacking across Europe and now work in an environmental lab in Spokane. Just looking for a nice Catholic girl to take on a lifetime of romantic trips around the world! Could you be the lucky gal?

Although I attended a Roman Catholic School of Theology for a year, I am not Catholic. I joined the Episcopal Church in 2009 as a transfer from the ELCA (Lutheran) Church. I have two masters degrees, one in Theology and one in Psychology. I am a Licensed Lay Preacher for the Spokane Diocese of the Episcopal Church at St Martin's in Moses Lake. I am also employed at Integrated Health Care Services of Adams County as both a therapist and a Designated Mental Health Professional. I work with both children and adults in counseling and crisis situations as well as detainment to hospitalization for psychiatric reasons. I have no children of my own, but numerous nephews and nieces who have children of their own. My parents are deceased. I see the Eucharist as the focal point of the Mass and participate in the life of worship at St Martin's on a regular basis, missing only to attend Mass at the cathedral in Spokane. I preach every third month at St. Martin's. I enjoy going out for movies or sitting home watching Netflix. My current obsession is with the series, "Call the Midwife." I also enjoy eating out, preferring something I would not normally prepare myself such as sushi and teriyaki or a Roast Beef sandwich at Arby's with horsey sauce. I also enjoy tamales. I enjoy the quiet of a library or a walk in a quiet area away from the city. I grew up on a farm within the city limits so enjoyed the life of a small town as well as 45 acres where I could go to a secluded area for meditation any time I wanted within my chore schedule taking care of the animals or homework. I value the spiritual life and would like someone who values the same.

I'm a pretty laid back guy with a dry witty sense of humor. I'm very much an outdoorsman, and love a random adventure. I love art in most any form, and love to draw. I prefer the simple things in life. Like a bon fire with friends vs a night at a club. Not sure what I'm looking for other than a partner to share my shenanigans with and that has similar interests.
