I am a Seattle native, I have a mechanical mind, I like restorations of any kind, If it casts a shadow it's restorable, I like working with my hands, I'm rather good at it. I like road trips and camping, I used to hike, bike, ski and rollerblade a lot more than now. I bet I can be talked into it again. There was a time that I enjoyed cuttin a rug. I am a grandpa. I work a modified swing shift so that would have to be OK, Looking forward to the next phase in this life, it's important for myself to share the rest of it here with someone that has the same faith base. I am in the process of simplification . To devote more time to the faith and a possible relationship shared within it. I had a stem cell transplant april 2013, The Father granted me an extension to my visit here on earth. I praise him! NEW UPDATE FOR GIGGLES, I'VE INCLUDED A FEW NEW PICS . I'M DOING VERY WELL ACCORDING TO MY HEALTH CARE FRIENDS. I'VE BEEN BACK TO WORK FULL TIME FOR A YEAR NOW . I'm still getting projects knocked out. I am looking for a godly woman, who applies biblical principles in her life and is led by the Holy Spirit. One can already distinguish between a godly and an ungodly woman by just seeing how she dresses, no matter how much she professes Jesus. If her clothing is very sensual and a frame for her body, then God hates it. If it is a frame for her face then He is pleased. To have the 7 questions here answered with 7 Yes is already a good clue that she is led by the Holy Spirit, has denied herself, put up her cross and is following Jesus, precisely like He asked us to do in Luke 9:23 (Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."). To live a chaste life according to the will of God as a single is actually only possible if the soul is being transformed by and filled with the Holy Spirit. Without the help of God this task will be impossible for a human over time. This is the precise reason why many here on this site don't have all the 7 questions answered with a Yes. They're still doing their own thing, not denying themselves and having God on their own terms, getting most out of life with all the sinful pleasures and simultaneously hoping for eternal salvation. The No-answers that are given coincide mostly in premarital sex and contraception, which the Church clearly condemns as grave sins. Premarital sex is not only condemned by the Catholic Church, but by all known major Protestant denominations as well. Why? Because Jesus Himself taught this, and He set the standard very high: Matthew 5:27,28 "You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." That includes premarital sex and is the very reason why a woman shouldn't dress very sensual, to avoid provoking the man to commit this sin. Jesus predicted that on Judgment Day there will be many who will be condemned due to their very own life-style of disobedience, while going to a Church building on every Sunday without any change of heart and mind: Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and... in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me you evildoers!'"

I'm new to the Seattle area, I just started a new job, and things are interesting. I'm an introvert (hence this site) and I'm looking for someone to go on adventures with. I'm not particular on where I go or what I do; because the company you keep is the more important part.

I am an upbeat, thankful person & I try to find the blessing in every situation. I love to travel, be outdoors, have intelligent conversations, and enjoy some good wine. Faith, family and my children are the most important things in my life. Family activities, often with extended family, are a big part of my life. I enjoy volunteer work, especially in my children's schools and in my parish, but I would also love to volunteer internationally. One of the most significant experiences I have had was my pilgrimage to Italy in 2011, and I would love to experience another pilgrimage.

Here, my 'swagger': life, adventure, sports, and art; I'm eager to edify my house on rock and see children home with faith, family and friendship. God's love, through the sacraments, has been the most influential "experience" in my life.

I had a wonderful marriage of 40 years until my wife's death 3 years ago. I recently retired from a career I thoroughly enjoyed, but it was time to stop and appreciate the rest of the time that God gives me. I have two great kids and soon to be 4 grandchildren who allow me to see life through their eyes. Family is a big part of my life. I don't know that I am looking for marriage, but then I am just starting on this new journey. I do know that having a special someone to care about is one of the things I miss the most. Good music and theater, laughter and quiet moments, reading, and fishing are all important to me. And, spur of the moment "road trips" are never out of the question. I grew up with sports and they are an important part of who I am. I continue to play competitive baseball (not softball) and plan to play as long as I can. I feel blessed that I am still able to play a game I have loved all my life and thank God every time I step on a ball field. I don't expect someone to share my love for sports, but they do have to appreciate that it is what I enjoy. The traits that are most important to me are very simple. Accept me for who I am. Be honest with yourself and me. Believe in something. Care about others and yourself. Don't sweat the small stuff and never be afraid to laugh at yourself. (I can usually find something to laugh about myself just about every day, but maybe I'm just an easy target). Be active, but not necessarily athletic. Have a curiosity about life and an appreciation of both amazing and simple things. Thanks for taking a few moments to read my story. I hope that you find the person who brings you happiness, as do I.

I am a country girl and prefer being outdoors than to indoors and I am very active. I am an equestrian and it is my passion and will continue to be until I am called. I look forward to each day to live it to the fullest. I am perfectly content to be by myself or with someone-I am very independent - and like someone who can hold interesting discussions on any number of subjects.

I am starting a new chapter in my life and looking for an honest, sincere man with a sense of humor, spirit of adventure and common values. I love life, continue to challenge myself and welcome the future with enthusiasm and a grateful heart. Friends would describe me as attractive, fun, social, intelligent, educated, independent, energetic and ready to roll at a moments notice. I love concerts, museums, archeology, travel, outdoors, entertaining and family. Enjoy good food, martinis, all kinds of music, meeting new people and discovering all kinds of new places. My faith and spiritual life are very important to me. I'm hopelessly romantic and would love to meet a kindred soul in that department. Have been blessed with good health, contentment, peace and joy. Would love to meet a man with the same heart as mine. Take my breath away with your charm, tenderness and twinkle in your eye!

I grew up in New York and always think of myself as an east coaster even though I have lived on the west coast for over ten years. Although I spend a good amount of time on work and school, I make it a point to go out and try new things whenever I get a chance. I hate being inside when it is actually sunny in Seattle. I am looking for someone who is positive, open-minded, honest, and kind.

Seeking: a woman who is down to earth and attractive inside and out. An active faith life is critical. About me: Aren't smiles, laughter, and a positive attitude amazing? They are contagious. I'm trying to develop that side, though admittedly I lean toward the intellectual and serious side more of the time. I am fun loving however, and I seek out those types of people. I'll take a warm smile and a fun loving spirit over "hot" any day of the week. Of course it's great to find charm in an attractive, wholesome person. Oh and let's not forget a good intellect! I am attracted to calm, self assured women with good character. The character element is critically important; not just honesty and integrity, but sincerity, humility, vulnerability, the ability to forgive and be forgiven. I'm really talking about all the fruits of the Spirit here. The Holy Spirit has to be in both of us to become the foundation of a great relationship. I am affectionate and passionate. I long for that tender soul connection with a good woman. I have a lot of love to give to Mrs Right. I have three adult children and a nearly empty nest. They are real treasures to me: happy, well adjusted people. I'm sure I had a hand in that. Chemistry is hard to predict. It starts with physical attraction, but needs to go way beyond that. For starters let's talk on the phone and take it from there.
