60, Morgantown, WVI am passionate about the Catholic faith. Scripture, mass, the eucharist--- these are the anchors upon which I can depend. My teaching career behind me, I am being blessed daily in my work as Coordinator of Religious Education at my parish. I also am blessed to be facilitating a Symbolon scripture study for adults. I am very blessed to be studying theology at St. Joseph's College in Maine. I try to maintain physical and spiritual health by going to mass and the gym several times weekly. I still wish to my soulmate and form a new life together, which hopefully would include spending time with children and grandchildren. I would like to live in a warmer climate, near the ocean. ( or at least escape the snow and winter) The Italian in me needs to sit and watch the waves roll in. God has blessed me with many dear friends who have sustained, loved, and supported me for over two decades. We are closer than family. I plan to enjoy their company into my golden years. I cherish family, and certainly want more----would love to have step children, grandchildren, more siblings etc! I love to travel very much, both domestically and Internationally-as my pics show, I enjoy adventure and the outdoors and like to play outside. Photography is one of my passions. I like my chocolate labrador retriever pup. He is a handful for sure, but we have such fun adventures, and he is just so soft and beautiful. I love to bike, spin, hike, dance.Open to learning tennis and sailing, camping and most other outdoor activities. Not really into spectator sports, but I understand that men seem to gain great satisfaction watching them. My musical inclinations fall to : jazz, classical, salsa, big band, Christian, Glen Miller, Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra, (Seriously Sinatra is my favorite channel) Josh Groban, John Michael Talbott and many other Christian artists. I love being in and near the ocean--deep sea fishing, crabbing, reading a book on shore, love it all. John F. Kennedy had this Seafarer's quote on his desk, and it rings true to me. "Dear God, be good to me; the sea is so wide, and my boat is so small." Enough about ME---what about YOU? I am not looking for a clone.
64, Weston, WVLove my family! Work in my parish as pastoral associate, DRE, and RCIA team leader. Lost my husband of 33 years in 2012. Two fantastic sons. Love cruising, the ocean, car travel. I'm an exercise devotee and completed P90X 6 times. I love good conversation and great food.
58, Charles Town, WVI am a special education teacher. I belong to St. James Parish in Charles Town WV. I have been widowed for 9 years. My 2 kids are grown, but live at home. One is in college, one a special needs adult. I've lived in Jefferson County for 7 years now, but haven't met anyone. ...I guess I should update this, as I dashed it off rather quickly. I am much more interesting in person, but I will try to write a better narrative. Many things have kept me busy during the past few years-- raising two teens alone, working full-time while attending grad school part-time, caring for my parents close by. The kids are now grown up. I recently completed my Masters degree. My mother passed away last month. Many challenges and changes. These things have kept me busy. I am firmly committed to living a good Catholic life. I talk the talk and walk the walk. I belong to a Catholic family and we have all remained true to Our Lord and His Holy Church. I have many interests. I was a music major in college and have kept that as a strong avocation. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, gardening and organizing... but I'd much rather be out of the house, visiting parks and museums and exploring new places. I like daytrips, especially in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Although I live in West Va now, I have lived most of my life in Virginia and Vermont. I read a lot, especially about history (I try not to be an egg head!). I am a good conversationalist. What else??? I don't really like writing "I" stories about myself, so I guess you would have to find out for yourself. I'm not planning to take a "temperament test" or "scrapbook" because my friends have to get to know me.
34, Shenandoah Junction, WVI am passionate about my family. I have 5 nieces and 5 nephews that I love dearly. I am currently living in WV, helping my sister with their care, after my youngest niece was born premature. I have a permanent residency application pending, and I look forward to moving permanently near my family sometime within the next year. Although I worked for a Telecommunications company in Colombia, once I move here I would like to start a small business of my own. In the meantime I help one day a week as a volunteer in my parish, and enjoy going with the kids to hikes, fieldtrips, or just walk at a park. I also enjoy all kinds of music, dancing, watching a movie, or a soccer match. I am loud and a bit stuborn, yet always joyful . I am hesitant about this kind of site, but my sister insisted to give it a try.

25, Keyser, WVI come from the great state of West Virginia, so I'm pretty much obligated to like bluegrass, southern food, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I also enjoy reading a good book in my hammock with either a piping hot latte or a cold craft beer (especially an IPA). I like making up new recipes and 99% of the time they're delicious. I always have at least one home improvement/decorating project going and 99% of the time they turn out well. I have two very energetic puppies that keep me on my toes (99% of the time haha). I spend as much time as possible with my friends and family. I consider myself a lifelong learner and enjoy learning new skills or about new subjects. Most of my life is defined by the principle of putting God first, others second, and myself last. My Catholic faith is the foundation on which I build the rest of my life. I frequently volunteer at several different places. I enjoy traveling, and have visited or lived in several different countries. I just returned from my dream pilgrimage to Kolkata to visit the Mother House of the Missionairies of Charity (where Mother Teresa lived, worked, and is entombed).
54, Friendly, WVI am a very devout Catholic who joyfully adheres to the Magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church. I was widowed on August 30, 2012. I was married to the gentlest, kindest, sweetest man who showed me what love is all about. I was not open to dating for a while, but the fact that I am posting this profile is an indication that my heart is opening and that the cold pain of loss is melting. I hold a master's degree in counseling from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am passionately pro-life, having served on the board of directors of the National Association of Pro-Life Nurses from 2006-2013. I have also been involved in First Amendment activities such as placing nativity scenes in public places, praying at abortion facilities, attending the annual March for Life in Washington, DC, etc. I am not currently working, but I have worked as a psychiatric nurse in the past. I cannot relocate at this time, as I am caring for two houses. I have a house in Steubenville, Ohio that I need to sell. I must also care for it--with the help of my brothers--so I cannot simply "pick up and take off," at least not at this time. So if you are looking at my profile at this time, how about sending up a prayer to St. Joseph on my behalf? Thank you!! Every morning, I spend time quietly invoking the Holy Spirit. I also like to say the Rosary. I am not a "needy" woman. I am secure in my identity. My late husband Mike and I had a happy relationship that was based on trust. I'd like to have that again, God willing.
63, Charles Town, WVWith my leisure time I enjoy practicing my prayer life as a third order Carmelite and studying St Theresa's books for upcoming classes. I also enjoy reading books on St. John of the cross and other Carmelite saints. I enjoy catching up on some of my other retired friends lives by having lunch with them. I see my physicians on an as needed basis and belong to the Metro Maryland Ostomy Association as an ostomate myself.
